Food and drinks were really good - except the manhattan which I believe is personal preference. The server was kind and brought me a different drink because I didn't like it. Seating can be a little tight in the main seating area but it's overall nice inside. The egg rolls were the favorite thing that we ordered.

My sole mission for visiting the Butcher's Son to try their Crème Brûlée! I decided to start with a light Caesar Salad which was light, creamy, & crispy lettuce. I also tried their jalapeño poppers which were amazing!! The crème brûlée was delectable, had the hard crunchy top, and a gooey sweet inside. Perfect! I can't wait to visit again to try more of their menu & drinks!

    Streak & Cake (w/ 6oz. sirloin)

I had heard really good things about this place and recently got to try it for dinner. We sat in a booth in the bar area and service was great. Their menu is quite large, with many options, not just steak. So many very nicely described seafood and other entrées as well. I had a tough time deciding, but ultimately chose their "Steak & Cake" which was the 6 oz. sirloin and a crab cake. I got it with their horseradish mashed potatoes and cucumber salad. But first, I tried a small portion of their house salad. The salad was pretty good, but the cherry tomatoes in it all had the stems on the back - yuck! That stuff should be removed when cleaning the produce for salad prep. But the dressing and rest of the salad was nice. The entrée was really good... the absolute best part of it was the crab cake - it was perfect! I'm from the Northern VA/DC area and am quite familiar with Maryland crab cakes and this was spot-on! Plenty of crab and very little filler and the flavors were great! The horseradish mashed potatoes were amazing too! They tasted great with each bite of the sirloin. I will say that you should never order sirloin at a steakhouse and that rang true here. The only reason I gave it a try is my local, amazing steakhouse (Fahrenheit 132) serves a Baseball Cut Sirloin which is outstanding and I had hope this might be similar, but this was the basic cut of sirloin - it was flat, a little stringy, and typical of a sirloin - it was lean and dense, thus not much flavor. Overall, this was a decent visit and I'd most definitely return! I'll try something different next time.

We got dessert and it was really good. That was a lot of cake.

Everything was really wonderful. My boyfriend got lamb chops and I got steak. I enjoy my food very much and the little potatoes were very good and so was the calamari. The service was excellent. The waiter had a lot of knowledge about like that a restaurant and the history behind it, which was pretty cool.

Had an amazing time tonight for Date Night here. Our server Alexia (sp?) was awesome and very attentive. I would have given a 5 star review but when I came in the hostess was smacking gum the entire time. She was smacking gum and on her cell phone the entire time we were there. It was unprofessional and brought your score down for me. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

My fiancé, daughter and I came without a reservation. We were seated within twenty minutes. Customer service was great. We ordered the oyster rockefeller and calamari which were both delicious. I ordered seafood mac and cheese which was really good but not a lot of lobster or scallops. Fiancé ordered steak with stuffed imperial shrimp which was perfect. My daughter also ordered a steak. She loved her meal.

Was recommended this establishment via a coworker in the area. The bar area inside was great to start our night off. Our server was very nice and we didn't lack on anything including our table drinks. The egg roll appetizer was really good. For my main course the bone in ribeye was good. Perfectly cooked. We all had a fantastic time and would definitely come back here the next time that we are in town. Till next time....

Came during happy hour. Only myself and 2 other people. Asked for a seat near door due to mobility.. Hostess placed me in bar area said it was the same, asked to be moved due to possible noise from bar area. With an empty restaurant not sure why she could not honor my requests, since there was another couple in that area. Waitress Melissa, was kind and explained menu options, and my request for hotter food she was kind, brought water but didn't ask if wanted a beverage or no alcohol beverage. So didn't ask..trying to visit restaurants and see how they offer and work. Others were offered drink options. Had then oyster rockafellar 5, for 1st course, was good highly recommended. Comes on a bed or coarse sea salt..great presentation....I digress..Was seated where I had originally requested. Also put about mobility in app when made reservations. Great Happy hour menu and price for 15.00 plus desert. Chose stuffed chicken came hot but Mac and cheese was plentiful but cold..and asparagus, barely warm.place just opened at 4, time of my reservation.. should not have been cold. ... Got it back... Still not hot.. but warmer in places .. asked if they could just microwave it... This time it came out hot.. Chicken was bland not seasoned well.. beautiful presentation . Stuffed with spinach., cheese, prosciutto.. not the best choice if you prefer a more seasoned stuffed chicken.. bread and seasoned butter was warm and very delicious . Waitress had to check with manager if desert came with meal that the VA Beach visitor guid was from last year. I said well you add says it's included. She spoke with manager and they gave me the choice I wanted .. creme brulee which had fresh blueberries and a sugar glaze was slightly burned..just removed the topping...brulee cream was cold and yummy. Blueberry was sweet and firm.. had a lil crunch. Suggested to Melissa advise manager Nick that as 2nd customer of the day food should not come out cold or lukewarm.. or have to be revoked or reheated. She stated she would advise. Bill was 30.09.. 29.10 if you paid with cash. Was really a 15.00 meal but the oysters were 10.00 extra.. when my visitors book came back the cover was torn off so glad I had already taken a pic of the advertisement, seems they wanted to make sure no one else got the free dessert.. if she had asked if she could keep it.. ok but to just tear it out was rude. There are other things in the book to do and places to visit.. asked was the reason. She stated it was a coupon but as you see it wasn't a coupon but an advertisement ..states needed to reconcile number of free dessert I left the suggested tip on the receipt..she never brought back change or asked if the tip had been included. Just saying

Love the happy hour menu, especially at the bar. The waiters and bartenders are awesome and very attentive. You could also sit inside the restaurant and it's a nice atmosphere.

This is a classy restaurant with very attentive staff. The steaks were delicious and the presentation was very nice as well. I am looking forward to another meal here in the future.

We came to have dinner to this Restaurant a couple of weeks ago. The services was good, we had a big party but the server was on top of it, and super friendly. The food tasted good and they had a good selection in the menu of a variety of options you could pick from. However I thought the price was too much for the flavor. Also we were sitting on the back on like an "extra room", and half of the table was looking towards the wall, so definitely that part was not pleasant and it was not worth the extra upgrade for being seated on the back. Overall we had a good experience however I don't know if I will go again. I feel like when you pay a little bit more of a premium it's worth the location, the premium quality of the food, and of course the service (this one was very good). Definitely plenty of parking.

I brought a party of 5 to finally partake in the culinary excellence that Eurasia has to offer. As a collective we ordered- STEAK N EGGS w/ no egg : such depth in all aspects of every bite. The polenta and steak were cooked with absolute precision. PEANUT CHICKEN WINGS : probably my absolute favorite of the entire spread. The tartness of the peanut butter was a very pleasant surprise. I would absolutely purchase a jar of the sauce alone. CRAB RANGOON FLATBREAD : an elevated version of a favorite take out additive. Sauce to ingredient ratio was to die for! GREEN GODDESS & MANGO SALAD : this salad was dressed to perfection, allowing all items to shine in its each individual way. CHILI CRUNCH TUNA POKE : I mean you quite literally will explode with satisfaction with every bite. The freshness and variety of flavor / texture is impeccable. FRIED RICE W/EGG ON SIDE : you can absolutely distinguish that whoever is on the line preparing your fried rice is doing so with the experience in mind. The preparation of the shrimp, the array of colored FRESH vegetables, and the rice itself. DIRTY MARTINI FETTUCINE PASTA : a blue cheese olive dirty martini is my all time favorite drink so lo and behold, there was a pasta created by its existence. The block of blue cheese down to the plethora of capers, absolute chefs kiss. BBQ DUCK : honestly if this was all I ordered , I would be more than satisfied. This item was accompanied by the most decadent Mac & Cheese , a perfected bowl of collard greens, and the pickled mountain of cabbage. STRAWBERRY CRUMB CRÈME BRÛLÉE : for the most part , I tend to stray away from a crème brûlée due to the lack of creativity. HOWEVER, the strawberry crunch crumbs and that dream of a sugar crust. I could clear a couple plates of this. PASSIONFRUIT & PANDAN TART : this hit every note of a well rounded dessert. The passionfruit was so tart with a subtle sourness that aided the coconut shortbread cookie. I would like to shout out our waitress Fantasia for an amazing service that evening by ensuring the plates never stopped coming, drinks stayed full, and any requests satisfied. As well as Chef Braedon for coming out to introduce himself and explain the magic he placed on our table. My friends and I will most definitely be back.

Before entering I noticed a Sign on the door warning about the delay due to short staffing in the kitchen. I appreciated the transparency and with no timing restrictions decided to proceed. The menu has a good variety of food and beverage options. They even have mocktails and can make any mimosa (flavor) non-alcoholic. For breakfast I opted for coffee (free refills), and the Chicken and Waffles, specifically the Life's a Peach option. Coffee was good, not too strong, not too weak! The meal was also good, think peach cobbler, with chicken. The waffle was thick and soft. The chicken was lightly seasoned and crispy. The peaches were on top of the chicken, but I think on top of the waffles would have been a better call (so I reconfigured things myself). Half way through eating I noticed the candied pecans were missing so I asked my waitress because I was interested in trying them with the dish. She noted that they didn't have them and haven't been able to get any for over a week. While I would have ordered the dish anyway, it would have been nice to be told upfront. Another downside of the meal was the third chicken tender was all batter, I didn't see a bit of meat in there. Check out the picture and let me know if you see it. Anyway, while the hostess - first interaction with the business - wasn't very warm, I found everyone else I interacted with to be very hospitable. I enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend it.
