Found this hidden gem and decided to try it out for date night. We couldn't quite find it at first and had to walk around for a bit. It's right next to justcupcakes but not facing the street. The atmosphere is very modern and just quiet enough for a date night. We ordered the oyster app, the crab cake entree and the Cornish hen They give you fresh baked cornbread and biscuits while your food comes out - both delicious but the cornbread is Best! With the honey butter. Now to the food The app was yummy perfectly fried oysters with a piece of lobster underneath and some pickled stuff under it (not sure of what it was) My crab cake entree was so good! crab cakes were breaded with potato chips and it was perfectly cooked. Served with asparagus and lobster mash I have no complaints. Husband had the Cornish hen with sweet potato and fried okra no complaints on anything but need to comment on the okra. It was topped with goat cheese and some sort of marmalade and it was AMAZING. The goat cheese pairs so perfectly with the fried okra. I pretty much ate his whole side. Cute spot! Absolutely wonderful dining experience. The whole atmosphere was smart, sophisticated, and thought out; right down to the scented candle that burned in the lobby immediately immersing you into the restaurant's atmosphere. We did not have a reservation, but were seated promptly; in the future I would highly recommend making a reservation as I am sure they will only get busier. We started with the fried oysters and they were immaculately presented and tasted even better than they looked. I had the Black Garlic Molasses Glazed Half Cornish Hen which tasted divine; perfectly cooked and I've never had a better tasting sweet potato. My husband got the Cold Water Lobster Mac & Cheese and couldn't stop himself from eating all the deliciously cheesy, sophisticated version of a popular classic. We finished with the Georgia Peach Cobbler which was a perfectly way to end the fabulous meal that we enjoyed. Overall, we had fantastic service, wonderful ambiance, and amazing food. This is a must place for all adult Diners. As of this writing 350 Grace is only 6 weeks old. The owners (Husband is the chef) have obviously taken a tremendous amount of time to make this the new "IN" place to be. They have paid close attention to every detail from the decor right down to the menu. The atmosphere and the whole team were amazing. Shout out to Stephen our server for the evening he was great! This place makes it their top priority to be gluten free. 350 Grace works on so many levels. We appreciated the honesty of the host as we entered. My wife and I were celebrating or 21st Anniversary and had reservations. We were informed that there was a little wait because the chef was just a little behind and wants his meals to be perfect; rarely do you get this type of up front service. Our wait was only 5 minutes and we were seated. The food was absolutely wonderful. Both my wife and I had the special, Grill New Zealand Lamb. This presentation was not like any I had before and highly recommend. The dessert choices were tough. My wife had the Blueberry Cornbread Brûlée while I had the Chocolate Chip Cookies with Chocolate Silk Milk and shot of Maker's Mark. Both were delicious and must haves. This place was actually a breath of fresh air, the atmosphere is cool and classy! The food is amazing, I had the meatloaf which I NEVER order out but this was delicious. Of course they have a special place in my heart because they had a vegan option on the menu which my sister loved. The staff was glad to answer all of our questions about the menu, and were very knowledgeable! This was a first visit to the restaurant that has only been open for 6 weeks. The ambience was casually elegant. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The menu is somewhat eclectic but offered variety to satisfy everyone. Our waiter was experienced and knowledgeable. There was a good selection of wine and spirits. Our food came in a reasonable amount of time and was nicely presented. All meals were delicious including a crab cake special and the meatloaf from the menu. Just had the most amazing meal at 350 Grace. The chef delivered some delicious fried oysters that had all of the flavors of Oysters Rockefeller with a completely different presentation. The pork tenderloin was moist and flavorful as were the shrimp and grits that was plentiful of shrimp and andouille sausage. The crab cakes my wife got were spectacular with no filler and to finish everything off we got a surprise bread pudding with a bourbon caramel sauce and ice cream that sent our taste buds spinning. This place was a good surprise! Not from and area and ended up picking here just because it was close! Almost didn't go in because it looked so empty but we braved it anyway, and we did regret it! I got the shrimp and grits which were amazing, just the right amount of spice and so much flavor! For dessert we split a peach cobbler which was good but not as good as I was expecting. Homemade ice cream was amazing but I would have preferred a normal cobbler crust vice the crunchy granola on the fruit. All in all it was an amazing experience with great food and spot on service! I was a little skeptical about a gluten free restaurant. In my mind, it couldn't possibly be flavorful. Was I wrong?!!! Yes!!!! The food was delicious!! I had the short ribs as an entree and my hubby had the NY strip steak. It was seasoned to perfection! But the star is the yummy BBQ sauce. It was doing everything it needed to do. Chef really needs to start selling it. The atmosphere was pleasant, felt upscale and chill at the same time. The service was excellent for them to be short staffed. Tess was our waitress, she welcomed us as it was our first time dining there. To our surprise, after dinner was over, the lady of the house brought us complementary desserts!!! One of the best meals that I've had in Norfolk in the last year. Delicious, well thought out meals. The food is gluten free, which is just an added bonus. You would never know, as the flavors are amazing and each dish was delicious. I tried the special of the night- crab and lobster cakes crusted in potato chips. Absolute genius! We can't say enough positive things about this restaurant. The food was amazing! Having celiac, it is so difficult to find a place that I can completely trust. Everything from appetizer to entree to dessert was fantastic. Certainly recommend the salmon fritters, ribs, and turnip fries for appetizers. I wish I could review the food but this establishment only seats parties of 4 or less. No budging. Hi, we're a family of 5. That's utter nonsense and the gentlemen I spoke to on the phone was not kind, giving excuses of staffing and they can only provide good service to tables of 4 or smaller. Crazy town. I guess if you have a small family enjoy, but otherwise, you're out of luck. Amazing place! Loved the food and loved the experience! Service was amazing with the staff so attentive and friendly! We started off with the fried green tomatoes which were amazing! I don't think I've ever eaten tomatoes like that. It was such a well rounded and light taste but that doesn't mean it skimps out on flavor! It was very flavorful and I would highly recommend it as an appetizer. We also had the ribs for the appetizer and that was delicious too! We were basically licking the plate. For dinner I had the Grilled Atlantic coast salmon and it was perfectly cooked! My friend had the crabcakes and they were so rich with flavor and my other friend had the pork loin which was so large that we all had a good chunk of her meal and she was still full! I recommend that one for people who have a larger appetite! But the other plates were also very well portioned so you really can't go wrong. My daughter got shrimp and grits. The spice was perfect and the shrimp were huge! For apps we had fried oysters, short ribs and soup which were all terrific. My daughter was diagnosed celiac 2 years ago. Eating out is never easy trying to make sure the kitchen takes it seriously and understands the gravity of the disease. I was hesitant to go to a completely gluten free restaurant as I seem to be a fan of all things containing gluten. But it was great. My favorite is the shrimp and grits. Amazing depth of flavor and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. There are not a huge number of choices on the menu but what we've had we've enjoyed. The portion of soup was rather small and served in a large bowl so it seemed even smaller but it was tasty. Not cheap but very good. Nice atmosphere, good service. read more

NOT recommended for people with celiac. If you're just gluten-sensitive, it is okay, but almost everything is cooked with whiskey or bourbon (which is derived from barley/rye) and I have gotten sick multiple times eating here. I wanted to give them a third chance, since they claim to be excellent for gluten free diets, so I showed up with my family for our reservation, but I was gaslighted by the owner who tried to tell me it wasn't there food that got me sick and she got agitated/defensive/dismissive when I told her about my autoimmune disease response. I cook 99% of my food at home, and ONLY tried this place because of their gluten free claims, but when I had the same illness *twice* within hours of eating here, I knew it was to blame. Upon finally feeling brave enough to try again (because I hoped they would be kind and accommodating to the clientele they claim to prioritize), I asked if I could have my meal without their whiskey-derived sauce, or if they could show me which menu items would be safe, and was given a rude and passive aggressive reaction from the owner (the chef's wife). Do NOT risk it! Owner will not work with you if you have celiac disease and are very sensitive to gluten. This makes an overly priced dinner both extremely stressful and a near guarantee of illness. read more

Even though my wife's utensils and also the table plate were dirty he remedied the issue once it was brought to his attention. FOOD: 1. We did NOT order an appetizer simply because there were few options and 2 of the 3 Appetizers listed were fried. 2. My wife ordered the Encrusted Crab Cakes, Vegetable Medley and Lobster Mash potatoes. The Crab Cakes were well proportioned but lack normal seasoning for a crab cake. The Encrusted outside crust tasted like plain Lays chips without the salt. The Vegetable Medley was delicious. I liked how they lightly grilled the vegetables and allowed the natural taste of each piece to have it's own taste. We both would have enjoyed a little larger portion of the vegetables. 3. I ordered the Cast Iron New York Strip Loin. Med - Well, Vegetable Medley, and plain Mash Potatoes. The Steak was cooked perfectly, lightly charred on both sides and inside perfectly light pink. Even though it had a gravy over it, it lacked that light salt and pepper taste that you look for from a steak. Once again the Vegetable Medley was delicious but lacked proportion. The plain mash potatoes were okay overall. REVISIT SCALE: 6 SN: Please review their menu before visiting this location as they do not have a large menu selection. A perfect gem of a restaurant. Attentive, informative, and engaged staff. Well-rounded menu. Nice jazz playing in a beautiful setting. Impressive attention to the interior - tile floor, walls painted the perfect shade of blue, upscale tables and furniture. Very likely the best all-around restaurant for special occasions, or everyday occasions that will feel special. And the food is absolutely delicious - well seasoned, tons of flavor, served on warmed plates in ample portions. I can find no faults with anything here. Please try this place out. read more

The older lady at the door could have been polite to say the least. I am not sure when restaurant service became combative in nature. I can say that it is much more common today.
