If you're looking for a traditional Mexican taqueria this may not be the place for you. It's different and gourmet in the sense they have Thai, teriyaki and Cajun burritos. They have different tortilla wrap options such as traditional flour, spinach, tomato. I got the garlic lime steak burrito, no lettuce. Flavoring was great! My only criticism is the steak is minced and I prefer a little larger chunkier protein. My boyfriend's favorite is the steak and prawn burrito in a spinach tortilla. I might give that a try next time. read more

What I ordered: a rice, bean, and cheese burrito. What I got: Cheese soup encased in a tortilla shell. The order couldn't have been simpler, but as frequently been the case, it completely baffled the cashier. The rice had decidedly Indian spices (in a burrito?), and was so salty I had to stop. If I'm going to eat too much salt, it's going to be in a pizza. A pizza is worth dying for. This isn't even worth stopping for. Excellent service! My customized favorite is easily ordered via their app and my burrito is always ready when I walk in! Super yummy fresh broccoli in the veggie burrito, and I love the spinach tortilla. Chips are meh, so I just don't ask for them, even though they're included. read more

I should have taken a picture, but I scarfed the burrito down so fast! I just wanted to rave about this place and their wonderful customer service. I came in and asked for a simple bean and cheese burrito. I paid and then it occurred to me after to ask what kind of beans they use (I'm 7.5 months pregnant and for whatever reason, only like refried beans.... oh, pregnancy!). He said they only use whole beans. I tried to see if I could get something else for the same price I paid (which he was so nice about), but ultimately decided, "Oh well, I'll just stick with what I ordered!" I went to the bathroom and when I came out, he said, "We are making the beans refried for you now!" I thought that was so nice of them! It was so good too. I have been a long time customer of almost a decade. Today my son went into the restaurant and ordered 2 burritos (take out). My son has little to no experience on "tipping". He is a student and has a part time job. I was very DISAPPOINTED that the person (male) who prepared our food used so much "fillers" (rice) and not the usual portion of chicken &prawn I usually get when I order food. My son left a small "tip" as he is a student and can't afford to "tip" the "customary 15-20% that customers from "Lamorinda" typically tip. This is WRONG! Any cook SHOULD NOT COMPROMISE the quality/quantity of food instead of "getting back" at a customer because the tip was not to his expectations. He still receives a salary and should NEVER treat customers more favorably "IF" he receives a good tip or NOT! This is the first time I eat a burrito whose ingredients are filled with 80% rice! What a let down:/ read more

Appreciate that this place is open regardless of quarantine and the air quality however... This burrito was subpar, had no flavor and simply put, I would call this burrito the most Caucasian burrito I've ever tasted. They gave us sweet and sour sauce for a burrito and to be honest.... that's disrespectful to burritos everywhere. The other salsa was absolutely not spicy in the least. I don't like Chipotle, but skip this place and go for Chipotle instead because even they do a better job imitating the real stuff. read more

Ok Gourmet Burritos, I see you!!! Sorry it's taken me so long to try you out, but I finally made it in. The location is extremely convenient (unlike most of downtown Lafayette). It's menu is interesting and the food was good. I went with your basic chicken tacos with extra cheese because let's face it, that's how I roll. I had been coming here for years and used to love it. The woman who worked the cash register seems to be gone, which is unfortunate. They now screw up orders regularly and it just isn't what it used to be. Unfortunately just can't recommend this place any more. read more

Grabbed a quick dinner here tonight with my son and the food exceeded my expectations. Everything was very fresh. My son ordered a burrito off the kids menu and it was ginormous. We could have easily shared it but it will be great in his lunch tomorrow. I ordered the vegetable burrito bowl and I highly recommend it. Would have been a very healthy dinner had I not eaten the whole thing, haha. We sat outside- there are only a couple tables outdoors. Parking is available on the street and they even have a small parking lot, but all metered unfortunately. read more

Worst burrito I ever had. I didn't even know you could mess up a burrito. Then realized this is supposed to be a "healthy" burrito place. Listen, if I'm eating a burrito, I'm not looking for healthy. I want a good tasting one. I had a chicken burrito and it had so much lettuce...and WASABI! WTF. Normally, I love wasabi...on sushi! Not my goddamn burrito. On top of that, the salsa is so bland, I can't even confirm if it is salsa. They also give you sweet and sour chili sauce. I'm SO confused. Am I at a Mexican place or Japanese? Oh wait, Chinese? So for a "Gourmet Burrito" you have to pay extra for: Guac, Sour cream and cheese (each). Also, most of their other "Burritos" don't come with rice nor beans by default. WITAF Literally nothing authentic about this place. It's actually a Wrap restaurant trying to be something else. Go here if you're literally starving or in a bout of self loathing. read more

Understaffed and slow. Will never go here again with Chipotle a couple blocks away. Hire enough people to serve your customers. They take a lot of to-go orders from construction groups at lunch time and don't have enough staff for other orders. read more

This is my go to burrito place and actually drive across town for the 360 Gourmet burrito. The last two have been sauté and should dry. Please let your cook know as it makes the lettuce and entire burrito greasy. read more

Well I never got to try the food because there were cops in there dealing with some weird crazy lady who would not shut the f up about cheese. I was in fear for my life.
