Kids Falafel Plate with fries- missing one falafel cause it was eaten before i remembered to take a pic
    Rachel G.

Visited Kabab Burger for the first time a couple of days ago. It's a humble little spot tucked into a strip mall next to Trader Joe's, and it's been on my "i wanna try this place" list for months, so I was excited to finally make it! I planned a brunch with friends, and we ended up with a group of 12. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Service was warm, patient, and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Now for the food: I ordered: Matzo Ball Soup - flavorful with perfectly fluffy matzo balls. Comfort in a bowl. Kids Chicken Schnitzel with Fries - The schnitzel was well-seasoned and delicious. Fries were solid, and dipping them in the side of tzatziki I ordered made them extra tasty. My mom had: Some of my soup (and she loved it too!) Kids Falafel with Fries - We swapped the tahini for tzatziki, and she enjoyed everything also. We also grabbed a couple of pitas on the side--always a good idea. They were yummy! I've included a few extra photos of dishes others at our table ordered as well.

We've been here several times and it's a great meal every time! We came here for lunch and shared several items. Everything here is great! Babaganoush is smoky and delicious. The hummus is great and so smooth. The pita breads are perfectly warm to eat with all the sides. Highly recommend everything here!

The chicken shawarma I eat most often, and I drive from Emeryville for it. Huge portions, great food, chill room, easy vibes. I've always had good service and prompt delivery of my order.

I have been craving some kababs for quite sometime and my tummy was finally satisfied. Kabab and Burger Mediterranean has a small patio with five tables along with a few tables inside. We had the appetizer sampler and the pick two item combo. The appetizer plate came with some of the best pita bread I have ever had. The bread was warm soft and fluffy. I chose the lamb and ground beef kabab along with a chicken breast kabab. Both were seasoned well tender and delicious. The chicken is obviously marinated as it was not dry at all. My only complaint here is the two item combo was $25.90 which for me is expensive but this is the bay area so maybe it isn't so bad. That being said the food is delicious.

Did a togo order at 5pm on a Monday, it was not crowded at all. Very quiet. I really like getting togo from here because they're quick and the food is simple and delicious. Got the gyro plate, it comes with a garlic yogurt sauce, tomato cucumber feta salad, rice and gyro. I really liked the rice because it was long grain and it was perfectly seasoned. The salad was refreshing and tangy. The meat was flavorful, paired well with the pita. The garlic yogurt sauce was so good, love the savory yogurt taste. You could taste the garlic inside.

    Chicken Schwarma wrap. Very bland

Was hoping for a super flavorful experience and what we got was a chicken shawarma that was very bland and needed spice. The Gyro meat was better flavored and tender but the hummus and salad inside the pita was also very bland. The falafel was crunchy and nice but also lacked flavor. We used a bit of the red sauce to help with that. So it was OK service was also good.

Located right next to Trader Joe's in Lafayette, Kabab Burger offers a menu of Israeli and Mediterranean eats in a casual, colorful setting. A highlight here is their soft, fluffy, chewy pita bread, which goes perfectly with all of their homemade dips. Speaking of which, the Sampler Platter was an array of mezze including creamy hummus, smokey baba ganoush, Turkish salad (sautéed tomatoes, onions, peppers), spicy eggplant, tahini, pickled turnips, 2 dolmas, and 2 crunchy falafels. The platter was a great way to try out a bunch of different flavors, though the standout was the baba ganoush, which had a particularly smokey flavor and creamy texture. I also tried the House Salad, a simple mixture of chopped cucumbers and tomatoes. At the self-serve counter were water and several condiments, including a housemade zhoug (spicy herb sauce), which was tasty but seemed to have been sitting around for a while. Overall, the food here was definitely decent, though some of the items didn't seem particularly fresh, and the flavors were a bit lacking.

I was in town and came here for lunch. I ordered the gyro plate this time and sadly it did not hit the spot unfortunately. The gyro meat wasn't really warmed up cause when it's done right you can see it glistening, felt really disappointed and you pair that with the rice that doesn't have much going for it came away from this meal pretty bummed out from what I remember back then. The salad was really good and the pita bread is still the best ever. I also noticed there was no hummus not sure if they don't give that anymore or just doesn't come with the gyro plate? The previous plate I had before long ago had it.

Our dinner did take a little while to come out, but it was definitely worth the wait. We ordered the lamb chops with rice and salad, the jujeh kebob, and the salmon kebob. The rice came with a piece of tahdig on top, which was a nice touch. I especially liked the salmon - it was moist and cooked really well. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the lamb chops were soft, succulent, and didn't taste gamey at all. You can really taste the charcoal flame on the meats, which added so much depth without overpowering the dishes. The flavors were subtle and balanced, with hints of saffron throughout, especially in the rice. They also have a good selection of vegan options, which is nice to see. Next time I'm in the area, I'd love to come back and try their stews. Overall, a really good spot with great food. We all enjoyed our dinner here.

I really liked my lobster bucatini. The coconut ceviche was very fresh, not too sour and tart. My friend got the filet mignon skewers, and those were okay. We both got a drink as well. I am 100% sure I rounded my bill to $XX.00 because that's what I like to do, but when I saw the charge it was different. I am also sure I did not pay the exact amount as my friend (confirmed because she did the exact 18% rec), so to find out we both got charged the same amount.....very sus. I of course already threw away the receipt, but recalculating our meal...We definitely did not spend $100.67 each...So just be aware when you check your statement!! SKETCH!!!
