The food is good, decent, but the owner is passive aggressive as they come. He parked behind me and blocked me in (and the car next to me that couldn't get out) because I parked in his manager spot in front of his shop, in a busy parking lot next to a Trader Joe's!. Who would take parking from paying customers? This guy! Another owner near by and said they all hate him for doing this and he's always making customers mad by blocking them in. I came here to pick up my takeout order, but then decided to eat some of my lunch here. I had the matzo ball soup with a baklava dessert. The matzo ball's were light and tender in a nice chicken broth. I've eaten here several times with a cousin, the food is always very good, quite fresh and tasty Mediterranean food, which usually can last a few meals. The meals with basmati rice, usually come with pita bread, hummus and a cucumber salad. If you have a craving for Mediterranean food, definitely check this place out, you won't be disappointed. It's conveniently located next to Trader Joe's, so you can do your grocery shopping before or after your meal. Definitely a neighborhood gem, and worth the drive! The best Baba Ganoush I've ever had. Smoky, creamy and excellent with the fresh warm pita bread. The pita bread was so fresh, and moist like it just came out of the oven. My husband ordered the lamb shish kebab. Lamb was definitely cooked to perfection. Served with basmati rice, hummus, pita bread and their delicious house salad. It's a humble little spot tucked into a strip mall next to Trader Joe's, and it's been on my "i wanna try this place" list for months, so I was excited to finally make it! I planned a brunch with friends, and we ended up with a group of 12. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Service was warm, patient, and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Now for the food: I ordered: Matzo Ball Soup - flavorful with perfectly fluffy matzo balls. Comfort in a bowl. Kids Chicken Schnitzel with Fries - The schnitzel was well-seasoned and delicious. Fries were solid, and dipping them in the side of tzatziki I ordered made them extra tasty. My mom had: Some of my soup (and she loved it too!) Kids Falafel with Fries - We swapped the tahini for tzatziki, and she enjoyed everything also. I have been craving some kababs for quite sometime and my tummy was finally satisfied. Kabab and Burger Mediterranean has a small patio with five tables along with a few tables inside. We had the appetizer sampler and the pick two item combo. The appetizer plate came with some of the best pita bread I have ever had. The bread was warm soft and fluffy. I chose the lamb and ground beef kabab along with a chicken breast kabab. Both were seasoned well tender and delicious. The chicken is obviously marinated as it was not dry at all. My only complaint here is the two item combo was $25.90 which for me is expensive but this is the bay area so maybe it isn't so bad. That being said the food is delicious. read more

Got the gyro plate, it comes with a garlic yogurt sauce, tomato cucumber feta salad, rice and gyro. I really liked the rice because it was long grain and it was perfectly seasoned. The gyro meat wasn't really warmed up cause when it's done right you can see it glistening, felt really disappointed and you pair that with the rice that doesn't have much going for it came away from this meal pretty bummed out from what I remember back then. Maybe it's our fault for trusting that this place has gotten better over the years. We enjoy the food, but this past time we ordered our food on the app instead of DoorDash (to save them fees) - and my husband went on the designated time, waited there , and. received it 30 minutes late. He checked in several times since we have 3 young kids that are hungry and waiting for lunch - but the front counter staff person (woman with black hoodie with black hair) was very rude and didn't give apology and even told him that since we are here every week we should know how it works. We would have appreciated an apology or even an update. We hope this review gets through to their management staff (who seems very nice from the previous moments of encounter) to improve on their system and also on their staff's interactions with their customers. We've been up and down the 680 Tri-Valley corridor, and on this day made it up to Lafayette and came across Kabab Burger Mediterranean Grill. It is located in a small Trader Joe's strip mall and the parking lot is rather smaller, however, even during a busy Friday lunch hour, you will most likely be able to find parking after one or two circles. Upon entering the restaurant, you will find a small number of tables and chairs at the front and the front counter where food is ordered is located in the back. There is also a small number of table and chairs and their patio area that is outfitted with plenty of covered spaces. This fast casual restaurant offers rather fast service. The menu consist of your usual Mediterranean offerings of side dishes, pita sandwiches, and plates.0 Our party ordered a couple Gyro in a pita pocket, a chicken kabob plate, and a a la carte chicken kabob. Everything was excellent in quality and taste. The gyro was filled with plenty of delicious meat, lettuce, and diced cucumber and tomatoes. The chicken kabobs were pleasantly and unusually moist and flavorful, where the seasoning seaped all the way through the large chunks of meat. Oftentimes, chicken Mediterranean places are on the dryer side and the flavor resides just on the outside of the meat. I would say this is probably near the top of our list of favorite Mediterranean restaurants that we have visited, and we were pleasantly impressed with our terrific lunch experience. The only thing I would change is the salad dressing. It came with Italian but a lemon olive oil would go better. The small salad that came with the gyro plate had a better dressing.
