I had a cat room that was a little gross, gave a tip for her to clean it. She left before the apartment was done and I was out of time as I had to turn on the keys in 15 minutes. I sent her the pictures I took after the maid left. Conversed with the owner Katie again and we agreed that it wasn't finished and she missed things she was supposed to clean. Katie agreed to refund $100. UPDATE: Refund finally came through. Good communication at the end. Make sure you ask all your questions before you book them.

Prior to scheduling, I check their options online, I called and spoke with Lekia because I had some questions about their services and I wanted to make sure I was selecting the correct one. This is for a condo (rental unit/lock box for key on site) where previous tenants had made a huge mess. I wanted the cleaning company to clean under the washer/dryer, refrigerator and stove. I explained that there was quite a lot of work to do. I noticed they had two options, Deep Cleaning and Move Out. So my questions where, do you clean under the appliances and which service should I select to make sure I maximize my results, if both services are required, I'm ok with that as well. Lekia informed that only one service was required, Move out. This was to allow for everything to be done. I went back online booked my service and provided tip. The service was not available until Wednesday I believe but I included a note requesting for earlier cleaning if available. I received an email confirmation, they moved it to Monday. So far costumer service was ok. I get a call on Monday, letting me know that the cleaning was done but that they had left the key in the unit by accident. They asked if a copy was available, if not, they offered to replace the lock. Which was the right thing to do, except my rental management company was on their way to show the unit. So this was a problem. I told them, my mother who stays 5 mins away has a key and I needed that key to be back in the lock box within the next 15 minutes. I didn't anything for the next 20 minutes so I assumed the key was placed back. WRONG! I get a call from my rental management company looking for the key. They had to wait for Lekia to come back and open the door with the extra key. These should've being a warning for me. In the afternoon I get a call from my rental management asking me to go check the unit because it didn't look like it was clean. I stop by on Wednesday and yes, they didn't do a very job at all. I send them an email, Lekia called and as I was explaining my frustration, she started speaking over me, cutting me off, raising her voice, and decided to blame the management company. I told her that I couldn't continue and to please send me an email with her explanation, she did. I'm going to try to include copies of our email exchange but I think Yelp limits the amount of pictures. We exchanged several emails, my last one was requesting to be contacted by the owner and/or manager. I'm still waiting to heard back. I will include this review in Google Review as well.

They face mask AND booties-which I love! I don't like shoes in the house, it's taken off after you get in, so I really appreciate the booties. Floor cleaning wise, I've had other cleaning service and they left my hardwood floor a bit sticky but not with Martha.

I checked off I have a basement and…read moreattic, (note there is no option on the website for in choose either or) they wanted to argue that only one was selected, if you have the two combined into one section and there isn't an option to select both separately then it's expected to have them both cleaned. They were not. Then the cleaning staff lied and said they did clean the attic they did not. Instructions were given on where the key would be and where to place it, those directions didn't get followed and then they said I didn't give them key instructions. The basement wasn't cleaned due to them being worried about the dog. They claimed they couldn't find the light switch. The light switch is at the top of the steps and there's another set at the bottom. Dog was secured in the crate the entire time. Not once did anyone call and ask about the light switch, they didn't ask if it was safe to go downstairs and instead of just saying they messed up, they wanted to argue. In addition to that, there is a light right at the basement door before you open it, had they turns it on, they would've seen the switch ‍. My gut tells me they forgot or kissy didn't want to do it. It's terrible service, they did a very basic job and I do not recommend ever. ‍

I have never met her cleaning crew. They were scheduled to arrive at my condo at nine tomorrow. Today, I was asked to commit to bi-weekly service which I did. It is not easy to get decent or above average cleaning. But I made the mistake of adding a caveat to my commitment to bi-weekly service. I said my intent was to keep her team coming every two weeks but their performance might influence that decision. Well, A-Cleaning Service, Beatriz, does not give the benefit of the doubt to the new client. She simply said she canceled and would not send the crew she had promised. Obviously she does not lack for clients and can afford to be picky. Still I wish she had had a strong confidence in her team's ability to do a good job. Instead she pulled the plug on me and it was all over before it began. Not a good feeling. On the other hand I questioned why Beatriz never visited my unit, told me only that a new crew would come tomorrow at 9:00a.m I was not sure what to expect. She told me she would not be coming to make introductions of her crew to me or to inspect the property. And she added they speak Portuguese but can communicate with basic English. Somehow that customer feeling was absent. It appears clients are a dime a dozen and she can pick and choose. Which she did. Tomorrow my condo will NOT be cleaned by A Cleaning Service.
