    Wanton Soup

Childhood memories, the soup was perfect, the wantons were delicious and lots of shrimp. The noodles reminds me of what I grew up eating.. nice and chewy and bouncy. They were perfect.

    Quite large seating area.

Nice little operation here. I didn't even know this place existed. Let alone this franchise with multiple locations. After researching them online. I decided to give them a try. Upon entering, it was very spacious and was greeted immediately by the male server and female cashier. Service was amazing. I ordered takeout and noticed that on the left wall, was 2 freezers full of frozen take home food. They had wontons, dumplings, noodles and hargow and suimai. I made a mental note to come back and try these offerings. On to the food, the wontons were awesome but the beef brisket left more to be desired for. It was kinda fatty but the meat side was very tender, just not abundant. On the bright side, their deep fried wontons were the star of the show. Light, flaky, crispy, juicy and full of shrimp and flavour. I ordered thick egg noodles, my mistake as thin egg noodles taste better, but, I like the fact they offered these. Turns out they aren't my favourite as I wanted to try something different. No worries, I learned my lesson and will order the thin egg noodles from now on. This place is great and I will be back. It somehow missed my radar but I'm glad I found it finally. An easy recommendation as I will be back for more.

Serves up classic Chinese noodle dishes. I had the beef tendon on egg noodles. Tendon was nice and soft. Service was quick!

Delicious wonton noodle soup!! Everything tasted delicious! The hot chilli oil has a really strong kick! The service is very fast! Clean seating area and good for small or large groups.

Wonton, dumplings and fishballs combo with thick noodle lo mein. Plus a dish of veggies.

We came here on a friend's recommendation as they drove 30 mins to come to this place. It has to be good right to have driven 30 mins. My wife and I plus our boss baby decided to come here. When we walked in, we got lucky as there was one empty table. After we sat down, there was a rush of people coming here. That says something about this joint. We glanced over the menu and decided on a few dishes of noodles. I chose the 3 combo with thick noodles lo mein. My wife got a 2 combo thin noodle soup. Food came out shortly after and it is very authentic to the taste of Hong Kong, it made my wife reminiscent of her younger days. Btw. I have to say the service from the service team is amazing and on point. Very pleasant and great to talk to. The store itself reminded me of good noodle joints from Hong Kong also. Great ambiance with the TV playing the olympics.

We came upon a recommendation from a friend. It's a small restaurant and fills up quickly, so staff ask if you'd like to be seated with other customers or wait until a table is available. For my bowl of noodles, I found it on the salty side and only mediocre. They have a few fridges on the side that sell products like egg noodles, fish paste, shrimp wontons, dumplings, buns, siu mai, har gow, etc.

Another day, another wonton noodle adventure. Found this place upon a recommendation of a friend, why not. I mean how different can wontons/noodles be from one another. Ok, here we go, their wontons are large and similar shape round balls, handmade, I don't think so, maybe AI 3D created, too perfectly shaped. More minced with few shrimp chunks then other wontons I've experienced. Good shrimp flavor so no complaints. Partner ordered the mixed offal noodles, lungs, kidneys, tripe, intestines, oh my. Not in my life Food came out quickly, staff efficient. Beware, 45min time limit during peak dinner hours, no chit chat, eat and get the hell out Portions are large, noodles left a large lump like feeling in my belly. Ready for a nap now. Nothing to really differentiate them from other wonton noodle places I've been too. Would I come back, yes if I'm in the neighborhood.

Exploring new restaurants is always fun and interesting, especially when they turn out to be good spots with delicious food. On this outing, we went to 3A Noodle in North York. As the name suggests, they specialize in noodles, Chinese style noodles. We both had soup, with thin egg noodles. The broth was very flavourful and the noodles had a nice texture without being too soft. The beef brisket and cuttlefish balls in mine were delicious, as was the beef tendon in my friend's. Good meal! In addition to their delicious hot meals, they also have frozen foods and dried foods for sale. Frozen choices include popular dim sum items, including siu mai and har gow. Prices seem very reasonable. The exterior of this restaurant is fairly plain but inside is neatly laid out, nice and clean. The service was fast and efficient.

    Dumping Noodle in Soup

I noticed several active Toronto online video content creators posted videos dining at the 3A Noodle shop. Since I am a die-hard Cantonese Wonton / Dumping noodle fan. Therefore, I decided to give this place a try. Dumping Noodle in Soup: Their Cantonese-style dumping has most of the ingredients that are supposed to have in the traditional method, including some shrimp roe. The wonton soup base is very flavourful (shrimp roe) compared to many other congee / noodle shops. Two downsides are the noodle is overcooked or the texture of their noodle is on the softer side. Also, the dumping is a little bit loose and not bouncy. Deep-fried Trio: The deep-fried wonton is crispy on the outside and the shrimp inside is bouncy / juicy. The deep-fried dace fish ball is okay but the deep-fried cuttlefish ball tastes more like a piece of fried dough at best. Chu Hou Braised Beef Tendon: Since my food experience was not the most pleasant on the first visit. Therefore, I decided to visit for a second time and tried different items. I was surprised their beef tendon had braised to perfect tenderness, not too hard and not too soft. The flavor is just right, not too strong spices and not too salty. Traditional Beef Internal Delicacies Lo Mein: Maybe I haven't had tasty Cantonese-style Beef Internal Delicacies for a long time. I am impressed by how great their Beef Internal Delicacies tasted. I do know all Beef Internal Delicacies are frozen but theirs tasted fresher than all other congee/noodle shops I had tried in the GTA. The herbs/spices sauce base is very well balanced and braised very well indeed. After visiting this shop two times. I personally think their braised items are far superior to their Cantonese-style dumping and cuttlefish ball. My biggest disappointment is their noodles. Both times I visited, their noodles were overcooked and soft (the second time I ordered "Lo Mein" without any soup).

3A Noodle deserves straight A++s! I could not stop myself from repeating "So Bouncy"! The thin egg noodles was just so crisp, bouncy. I don't even usually order egg noodles but this is a must here for the Classic Wonton Mee! I could not stop myself from repeating "So Bouncy"! The cuttlefish balls have such great flavour: real piece of cuttlefish and great mouth feel when I bite into that! The wontons have chopped big shrimps, cooked just right. Not mushy at all. The beef tendon and brisket were so tender and melt in your mouth. We were there for late lunch on a weekday. The restaurant was not busy and I like how the waitress reconfirmed our order. Now I want to go back and try other toppings. Hmm should I try their rice noodle instead.... that's a hard decision.

Finally an authentic noodle spot near home. The service was nice and friendly, very attentive. I chose two toppings jumbo shrimp wonton and cuttlefishball with thick egg noodle. Everything was so tasty. A piece of Scarborough authentic noodle near home to help satisfy my cravings. For the side snack, I've ordered the deep fried dace fish ball and it comes with the clam sauce. Nowadays, a lot of restaurant you can order this deep fried daced fish balls but they don't serve it with the sauce. Overall, I am glad they open here, an authentic noodle spot closer for me!

This is a traditional Cantonese style noodle place. We stopped by for a quick lunch with my boys, and it is very FAST! We ordered wontons and noodles with three types, beef brisket rice, and the service is so fast, the food is served instantly to us 2 minutes after we order. It feels like we took longer to decide what to eat than the cooking time. All foods are freshly made, and it's delicious

I like buying their frozen products at the RH location and because this was new, we wanted to try. I was quite surprised at the price. They charged almost $13 dollars for a two topping noodle and to add, there wasnt any green except few yellow chives. Food came out right away but I would have expected a bit more. Brisket was also a little dry. Definitely not returning. I'd rather spend my money at Big Trio or Jim Chai Kee.

Fried pork and shrimp dumpling - not good. Steamed spinach and shrimp dumpling - slightly below average. Sesame ball with black sesame - Excellent. Sansotei Ramen Review…read more Order: Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen Ambience: Sansotei at union station is more like a quick takeout /food court ramen spot than a sit-down restaurant. It's great if you're grabbing something fast, but the seating area wasn't the cleanest and I had to look around for a table that had been wiped down, which wasn't ideal if I am paying 21$ for a bowl of tonkotsu ramen. Food: I tried the black tonkotsu ramen and it was definitely rich and filling. I liked that you can choose between thick or thin noodles, which is a nice touch. That said, the broth was a bit too rich and salty for my taste and could use something to balance it out, maybe an order or Diet Coke. The meat was good but not as tender as I would like. Sides and Pairing Tip: I'd recommend getting a side of gyoza or even a Diet Coke to help cut through how rich, heavy and salty the ramen feels. Value for Money: It's a good option for a quick meal, but it does feel a little expensive for the experience you're getting for that price. Overall: Great for a fast ramen fix when you're on the go, but maybe not the best choice if you're looking for a more comfortable dine-in experience, or more value for money. 3/5

We decided to walk up to Queen Street to see something we hadn't seen and seemed like a good area with a wide variety of restaurants. I was almost writing this review for the one on Dundas Street, but realized there are a few locations in downtown. Glad I double checked. We walked up along Spadina to Queen, not all the way up to Dundas. We were weighing options, but we were unsure what we wanted and struggled. We almost ended up at another restaurant with live music outside, but we weren't being served and wasn't enthusiastic about their menu. So, we looked at a couple of options. We didn't want Chipotle or Chick Fil-A; I can get that anytime as I live near those in Maryland. Also, I wanted cuisine that was harder to find near where I live. Ultimately, we settled on Mogouyan Hand-Pulled Noodles. After a lot of hunger trying to decide, this ended up being an excellent choice. Server was friendly answering our questions. It was moderately priced. We got their hand-pulled noodles, which was a large bowl, and was delicious with beef, veggies, & plenty of noodles. I also got their Japanese Toki brand whiskey. This was a FINE choice at a reasonable price. We got into some conversation with the server about being from the US and various other topics. This was an excellent experience, highly recommend.

The weather in Toronto this week has been in the 20's and 30's! The restaurant does serve the dodgers when they are in town! If it's good enough for them... I ordered a Canadian whiskey to start off. It was very nice and smooth. I think it was a Sleeman and sons? Not positive but I really liked it! Then the food. I ordered the first roll from every section. There were some repeats which he advised me would happen but I didn't mind! The sushi was so tender and had great flavor. My husband ordered the ribeye steak and that was really really good. I don't usually go for high-end sushi restaurants, but Miku has been on my list for a while, so I was genuinely excited to finally check it out. The restaurant is located on the ground level of an office building, but the moment you step inside the restaurant, everything changes. You go from bright, corporate lighting to a moody, romantic space with soft, dim lighting and a refined, intimate ambiance... it truly feels like entering a different world. Bonus points for the complimentary coat check, which is a huge win during winter when everyone is lugging around massive puffer jackets. We were seated in plush, velvety sofa booths near the bar, with a view of the street, which felt both cozy and upscale. Shoutout to our server, Shintaro, who was phenomenal with his warm, attentive, and energetic service, which made the whole experience even better. We started with drinks: my coworkers ordered sake flights, while I went with their signature cocktail, the kumquat cosmo. It was sweet and citrusy, and exactly what I needed on a Tuesday night after work. For appetizers, we all chose the sushi and sashimi selection, which included 9 pieces of chef-selected sashimi, chef-selected nigiri, and aburi oshi sushi. This was chef's kiss. The sashimi was incredibly fresh, and the sushi and nigiri were perfectly seasoned and sauced, so that we didn't even need soy sauce (though they do have a lovely house-made sweet soy sauce). I ordered the Red Wave Roll just to use their house-made sweet soy sauce... and wow. I've never had sushi that didn't fall apart after biting into it For my main, I went with the roast black cod. It was cooked beautifully, with a tender, slightly chewy texture that was rich but not overwhelming. For dessert, I went with their famously loved green tea opera. It's a small green tea sponge cake layered with matcha buttercream, red bean cream, and a hazelnut wafer crust, paired with a rich, velvety matcha ice cream on the side. Balanced, not overly sweet, and the perfect ending to the meal. Overall, Miku lived up to (and honestly exceeded) the hype. Incredible food, top-notch service, and a beautiful atmosphere.

We ordered medium spicy for the papaya salad and it only had a slight kick. I wished the salad portion was more as it was gone pretty quickly. It comes with shrimp chips, pork rinds, and 2 small bundles of rice noodles. The dried shrimp in the salad was very chewy though, which made it a bit less enjoyable. I ended up picking them all out. We ordered spicy for the pad gra prow but it wasn't spicy at all. I think you can ask for the Thai chilis/ Thai chili fish sauce thing on the side but we decided we were fine with no spicy. Unfortunately the crispy pork was not crispy at all and was also very chewy. Overall it was still delicious! The Khao soi mightve honestly been the least favorite, but it was still good. It is on the sweeter side. The egg noodles were cooked al dente and had a nice chew. Sometimes when I get Khao soi it ends up being too heavy or creamy, but the curry for this one was thinner and easy to eat. The shrimp was the best part - super fresh and bouncy. In the end I thought the portions and quality were good. The service was also super nice, and it was impressive to see our waitress cover so many tables. The restrooms were also clean.
