The server was super polite and full of positive energy. It did take us a while to order a drink. It was very crowded outside on the patio. Fortunately, there was live music which was pretty good. I asked for a Martini in a rocks glass and she brought me a martini glass and a rocks glass separately and expected me to pour the drink into it. I've never had that happen before. It was kind of funny. I just drank out of the martini glass.! But she clearly didn't understand what I wanted If they ever get the opportunity to buy the house in front of them and make the property waterfront they should absolutely do it. I do not like hidden fees on a bill. Should not see an admiration charge on a bill. First time I have ever seen one and came out to see the George Johnson Band. The band was great, and the service was top-notch. Best I have had in a while. Food was average and prices a bit high for what you got. That being said chicken was fresh and chowder was homemade. But for $8 portion was to small. Chicken fingers were $17 that is the price of a finger meal. The place was decorated for Christmas and there was live music, which made it fun and cozy. We ordered drinks, which were all great, and some appetizers. Wow! My husband and I just got dinner tonight at the Jetty, on Ocean Street in Brant Rock, and it was AWESOME!! Their $15 Thursday night deals include delicious, marinated steak tips, either paired with crispy French Fries, or served on top of a fresh Caesar salad loaded with Romaine, croutons, shaved parm and just the right amount of Caesar dressing. Delish!! And the other meal deal is the chicken parm--which is a huge serving of delicious, lightly breaded chicken over pasta--enough for two people!! Last time we were here our food was mediocre so we haven't been back for sometime. They had a special on Saturday of $1 oysters and $15 steak tips and fries so we thought we would try it. I don't eat oysters but he does and he enjoyed a dozen of them. The fries were hot and delicious as were the steak tips. Only one complaint.. mine were more well done than medium but still tasty and tender. Wendy was on the bar and on her game making cocktails and serving hot meals at the same time.. This place isn't worth your time or money. We went to this place recently and we were seated quickly. After that we sat there for almost 10 minutes before anyone came over to us. They use their side parking lot for outdoor seating. There was junk all over the place. I wish we just left and to put it lightly the entire experience was terrible!!! My wife got the chicken tacos and the chicken was tough and over done but she ate it because she was hungry and didn't want to wait for something else. I got the cape cod Ruben which was mostly just bread and a very very thin fillet of haddock with a thick super greasy coating. This was also way overdone. I tried eating it and it was just a no go for me. When the waitress finally came over I told her, showed her and, she was like oh. I will send my manager over she said. The manager came over and said she was sorry and asked if I wanted anything else which at this point I declined. A short time later we received the check which still had my meal on it at full price!! I asked the waitress what was up with that! She again sent the manager back over and she said it looks like you ate at least half of it so the owner didn't want to take it off your bill. Wow, I said! Even she said it was wrong and not a very good business practice. I should have known a place that has terrible reviews was gonna SUCK and I was spot on! Our apps came at the same time as our entrees & we were not checked on once. The fish tacos were extremely fishy & the burger we ordered was hard as a rock when it was ordered medium rare. We didn't get checked on to tell her so we paid for the fish tacos but the burger was comped because we mentioned it. It also took her 45 minutes to give us the check. We've been talking about going to The Jetty's Sunday Brunch since the beginning of the summer. Finally there yesterday morning. So glad we did. We ya were 4 adults and 3 children. Of course we ordered the Bloody Marys and loved the DIY garnish bar. Too many choices to fit them all in one glass. The best we've had anywhere. Their in-house mix was so good. You can buy it by the quart to take home and add your own vodka. Started with the giant house made pop tart to appease the kids. The adults ate just as much if not more. 3 of us had the corned beef hash and eggs but everything going by looked great. May have to try the Breakfast Burger next time read more

Very poor service. Extremely disappointed as a Marshfield resident who tries to support local businesses. The food quality was also not very good. The Stella burger was overcooked and came with the wrong fries. Was overcharged for meat on the nachos that we did not want on it. My husband and I were in Marshfield today and stopped in at the Jetty for lunch. They have a really cool outside patio area, which we have never been seated at before. We have eaten inside at the Jetty and stopped in for cocktails when staying in Marshfield. Today was so gorgeous, that sitting inside was in no way anything we wanted to do. The environment on the patio is lively, energized and fun. They even have a stage for live music! We ordered one of the "grill" specials, which consisted of two skewers, grilled corn, two oysters and a slice of watermelon. The street corn was some of the best we have ever had before! Delicious. The skewers were so good, that we ended up ordering more. We had shrimp, chicken and beef. They had grill marks! We love that. The chef was outside on the patio cooking everything right in front of us. We had a really great conversation with him both during our meal and after. Made for a perfect experience. Took the family there last night for a birthday. Ordered the Stella Blue burger, which comes with bacon-onion jam, blue cheese cream, bourbon balsamic glaze. Ordered medium. It arrived medium well with what looked like maybe a teaspoon of sauce that had been absorbed into the bun, leaving a dry burger. I was hungry and after waiting too long for the waitress to return, I just added ketchup and ate it. My son ordered a side of fries that were warm but not hot, by the time he was half done they were cold. I've had good meals there a year or two ago, but it seems to have gone downhill. The place wasn't full, so I know the kitchen wasn't slammed (and that shouldn't be an excuse anyways). In the future I'll just go there for drinks and eat somewhere else. read more

The weaseley little guy that owns the joint appears sympathetic and says he'l do us a strong. We're watching him sell tickets to all the new people coming in the door. What ever happened to HONOR and HONESTY? Is this the way to treat new customers? Just buy the tix back (even at 1/2 price) and do us right! Also, don't expect anything like "SERVICE" there. The apps were all GENERIC, un-tasty and so plainly served without any flair or pride. There were so many empty glasses and bottles, you had nowhere to put your drink. In my opinion the food was horrible at best, my friend got steamers ( there is less sand on the beach than in those play dough steamers) . I had a hot dog and fries because after looking up and seeing the filth I figured how can you screw up a hot dog? The answer is cook it earlier and throw it on the grill for a minute put it in a stale bun add french fries that would break your teeth and put it on a tray. That's how you screw up a hot dog. The other person got the chicken sandwich and that was actually good but still horrible fries. After many years of passing this place by, I've eaten outside several times during Covid, and have been pleasantly surprised. Especially on Sunday this outside area is great because they have a good singer/guitarist playing oldies. The glasses are plastic, you must come armed with sunglasses, layers of clothing and now in November perhaps a blanket. But the Bloody Mary is good, the pumpkin White Russian is like a dessert but I like dessert. And I've been pleased with the food. The fish tacos are tasty, the salads have been good. This is one of those brunch places that have other options at brunch time, so you are not limited to eggs or pancakes. You can have a burger, Irish egg rolls, and other options. They also offer a variety of brunch cocktails, including many kinds of mimosas. Sitting outside in Brant Rock center might not be the most glamorous spot in the world, but during Covid, a mimosa, entertainment, and a meal in a parking lot is a real treat. read more

This place would be an ideal candidate for John Taffer's Bar Rescue show. I am still feeling sick from having breakfast there yesterday (waited a full hour for a bacon egg and cheese on an un-toasted English muffin). We watched them take our order and disappear for an hour, only to scoop the majority of items (bacon, potatoes) that were "made to oder" from the sterno trays at the breakfast buffet that was reminiscent of a Holiday Inn minus the waffle maker. Don't go here - it's not worth the atmosphere other reviews highlight as a positive. The "live entertainment" spent most of his time at the bar. I love the Brant Rock scene and frequent The Jetty. You can not beat burger night! I love to go grab a big juicy burger and a helping of fries. The food is always fast and hot. The drinks at the bar are always a good strength and they make some fun cocktails. On some nights they have live entertainment and some amazing bands.
