When I arrived, she told me $280 for manicure and pedicure. Then before I was done, she added on a $20 fee for me getting my hands and toes done at the same time. Then at check out she charged me an extra $25 in taxes. I'm from California, but have never in my 20 years of getting my nails done been charged $25 in sales tax or any type of sales tax for that matter at a nail salon. Prices have always been straight on. The management should review their practices. Getting extra dollars at the moment out of someone is not worth your business having a bad reputation. Be transparent, forthcoming and honest about pricing. Adding fees once someone is already getting their service performed is unethical. Pedicure was way overpriced at $100 for the basic service provided and the shape not meeting my expectations. I really love my hand nails, but because of what I experienced with the pricing, unfortunately I will never return to this salon.

At first, the woman who helped me was very helpful and recommended that I go with a gel manicure because they lasted at least 2 weeks. She seemed genuine, so I agreed. I had originally picked a light pink color and she showed me a gel color that was supposed to be the same. It was not. It was completely clear, so after a coat of the clear one, I asked for a more pink one. She was clearly pissed when I asked for a different shade because her attitude completely changed. She gave me an eye roll, was immediately on her phone between coats, and hastily put one mediocre coat of the shade I wanted and said we were done. After my experience and looking at reviews, I wish I had just not gotten one and am just keeping my fingers crossed that the current ones last through the weekend.

So I rushed there and they told me I have to wait until 6:15 cause a customer changed their mind about a design. Okay, no problem. I walk around Main Street and get a call saying that I need to come now cause Michelle (the girl I made the appointment with) has a customer coming at 6:30. I honestly hate feeling rushed but knew that my manicure would take forever since I was getting a different color gel design on each finger. So, I went in anyway and showed Michelle all the designs I was interested in. I kept trying to explain how I wanted it, but because of the language barrier, she kept getting fed up with my demands, so I just kept my mouth shut. She took a long time to paint the design I wanted. I give her credit for that because she did a good job on the design for my toes. May did my nails, she was a little strange, she kept saying I want to make your nails to look beautiful but she did a sloppy job on my nails. I notice that there was leftover nail polish that was left on my skin, she didnt use the nail polish remover to remove the extra nail polish. I felt like the whole time she was rushing to get it done. Even though she kept saying I am going to make it beautiful, it was nice but a little sloppy. In addition, when it was time to pay, May said it was $52 at first, then $54, Aime who did my pedicure insisted it was $50 but May kept saying something else. I felt like May was trying to charge me more. At the end I got a receipt saying it was $51. I wanted to dry my nails and toes for a while before doing my waxing. But May insisted that I do it now because she had another customer coming soon. So I went with May to get my eyebrows waxed, she put hot wax on my eyebrows. It hurt so much!! She did apologize, I wish she didnt rush because it really hurt. After she was done with my waxing, she was like you came in looking ugly now you look beautiful. I was a little offended that she said that. In addition, she put tons of oil on my face. When I arrived home, I noticed the area she waxed puffed up a bit and was red. I had to put a ice pack on it to help it go down because I had to attend a wedding in a few hours. I wasnt too happy with May. In addition, she didnt have another customer coming soon, I dried my nails for about 30 minutes and she was just walkng around the store the whole time. Not to happy with my experience.
