I really liked how calm it was and you can have a conversation without yelling or getting real close to someone's ear. It's like an artists' bar, a lot of graffiti everywhere. I ended up getting the Jamo & Blonde special for $10. Really good deal. I highly recommend this spot if you want more of a lowkey night or if you want to pregame before hitting up Broadway or Printer alley.

The bartender seemed bothered that we flagged her down and quickly turned back using a micro aggressive tone and responded that she needed to complete helping a customer before she can help us. We have been to a few "dive" bars in the past In CA, NY, AZ, TX, AL and other parts of Tennessee and we have never encountered a response like that before. Red Door - Nashville…read more I had one of the most uncomfortable door experiences I've had in Nashville, and I found it both disgusting and shameful. Our group arrived at Red Door dressed well and prepared to enjoy the evening after attending an industry holiday party. At the entrance, the way our group was handled felt inconsistent and unfair. One person was allowed in without being asked for ID, while another member of our group was stopped and told to remain outside because of a fake fur jacket. There was no clear explanation, no consistent application of rules, and no attempt to handle the situation respectfully. Watching different standards applied to people in the same group was confusing and upsetting. The way this was handled felt arbitrary and, from my perspective, discriminatory in nature. Being excluded while others were allowed to enter freely was humiliating and unnecessary, and it completely ruined what was meant to be a celebratory night. The overall experience at the door was, in my opinion, disgusting and shameful. This reflects very poorly on how Red Door manages its entrance and the individuals representing the venue. Based on this experience, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this establishment.

There are two bars which did help with people being able to get drinks quickly. Sound quality in the venue area was fine but could have been better.
