Yesterday was my third time visiting 3rd Turn, but first time visiting in the spring. The beer garden was magical with the flowers in bloom. The flowers smelled wonderful. Each time I've visited, they've had new beers on draft and I've always found one that I enjoy! There are multiple food options as well including pizza and Four Pegs.

This is such a fun place with a great vibe. We stumbled upon this place after we already ate dinner. So we didn't eat anything this visit. We simply ordered a beer. The staff are super friendly and let us sample several beers before ordering. I ordered the 3rd Turn Swooly Jalapeño Fruited Kolsch. It was good and a little spicy with the jalapeño that is in it. This place is huge with 4 different stations to order different types of food. They also had music playing. They even have a space to hold a wedding. We will be back!

There's a sign outside that says this is the second largest beer garden in the country. I'm gonna roll with it because I don't think you can argue with that. This is one of the most incredible spaces that I've seen transformed into a brewery. It is like an old greenhouse that has been turned into a space for folks to enjoy beer, and a variety of food options. If it's cold outside, you always have the indoor spaces where they have ample seating, ample options and plenty of TVs. I love coming for different events this year. We really appreciated the Christmas market. They also do a farmers market in the summertime. It's such a beautiful way to showcase the creators in the Crestwood community.

Went for Oktoberfest on Friday night. Place was packed! Lots of parking is available... but with the large crowd they had attendants helping and it was still packed. They have a large property with a lot of outdoor seating options. Kid friendly. They also have multiple spots indoor and outdoors to order drinks and food. Enjoy and beer and food options.

3rd Turn is a great place to chill with a beer or drink, enjoy the outdoors, and listen to a band. Plenty of restrooms indoors.

Another place off the bucket list! Am I regretting it's taken me so long to get here? YES! It is amazingly relaxing, spacious, social, and offers food. Enjoy sitting in greenhouse spaces made for large and small gatherings. I'd even come here on my own if I was closer. The Backside Grill has items to indulge in for yourself or to share. Plenty of beers on tap as well as bourbon slushies, canned options and wine. We enjoyed the chicken nachos but would recommend skipping the pretzel a s beer cheese. The pretzel may have been sitting around too long and was too hard for the beer cheese to save. This is a family friendly spot. One group had spread out a birthday tabletop and brought in food and cakes to enjoy. Totally welcome. The music was not too loud to distract and disturb our conversation. Much appreciated. I promise to be back and bring more people with us!

The drinks are fun and reasonably priced and the atmosphere is lovely! They occasionally have live music and events going on. The big seller here is the atmosphere. It's in an old plant nursery and some parts have vines growing everywhere giving it a fun green nature vibe. They also have fire pits for the cooler months. -1 star because the food is overpriced and underwhelming. I would recommend visiting this joint for good drinks and fun vibes while getting food elsewhere.

I'm so thankful to have a place like this in Oldham County. The location is so cool, if you haven't been you must go! it has the bones of an old greenhouse (covered in beautiful wisteria) turned into a beer garden, it's the perfect spot to relax after work. There's tons of parking and seating, They even have covered areas so you can enjoy no matter the weather. The beer selection is huge! If you're not a beer drinker (like myself) don't worry because they have adult slushees, rotating flavors but always delicious. They also offer mead, which is honey wine, in multiple flavors as well. If you haven't tried mead I highly recommend trying their orange blossom and the PB & J mead, sounds weird but it's pretty great. They also serve food. They've recently updated their menu and added tacos so we had to go try them out. You can buy a single taco for $6 or 3 for $15. I had a general Tso taco that I enjoyed, good flavor profile but it left me wanting more chicken. I also got a fish taco, I thought the flavor of the fish was great but it was topped with LONG piece of cabbage that I couldn't bite through. I think it would have been better finely chopped. Hubby got the veggie taco, he wasn't impressed said veggies lacked seasoning and the gyro taco which he said was pretty good. I'm not a fan of lamb so I passed on trying it. We also had the pretzel and beer cheese, which was the highlight of the meal. Before COVID we celebrated my moms birthday there with a group of friends. We were able to bring in our own cake and get a large table for us all. This is a great place for a big group of friends to hang out. So grab some friends and head out to OC for some pretzels and beer! PSA: Make sure you have a designated driver.

We had a wonderful evening at 3rd Turn last night. I had a few delicious ciders (Elderberry and Peach Apricot), and some scrumptious pizza with pulled pork on it! We love the atmosphere at 3rd Turn with all the outdoor seating, plus being dog friendly is a bonus!

3rd Turn is seemingly built for the requirements of social distancing. Having repurposed a nursery with multiple greenhouses, there are many options for seating including open air picnic tables, gaming areas, and no need to crowd up. The service at the ordering stands (no table service that I saw) was excellent and all the locations are connected so no need to close a tab just because you've moved greenhouses. The beer selection was good and the flavors were excellent! There are several in-house brews as well as a host of guest taps.

The menu has a variety of options, mostly higher-end bar-type dishes. I had the cheeseburger salad and it was huge and delicious. Our table shared appetizers (stuffed mushrooms and goat-cheese/artichoke dip with chips) and they were both great too, especially the goat-cheese/artichoke dip! This will definitely be where I get a meal when I visit La Grange. Parking is available in a lot behind the restaurant and street side in the walkable neighborhood.

C'est le guerre. Two out of three ain't bad. The prices are en pointe! If they had a manager with a brain it could be so much more. The restaurant group owns three other restaurants. Why they have kept the SUCKY mgt here is beyond my understands. I've never owned a restaurant but I have owned companies. No idea why they continue with very poor mgt. Madeleine's is not a wine tasting bar but a restaurant with an extensive wine list (for this small town, at least). They have a fairly extensive food menu as well as many unique wines on their list. They also serve beer, if that's your thing. One of the owners seated us and let us know that we could sample any of the wines with which we were unfamiliar before ordering a full glass. Although we had not planned to eat there as it was 3pm, our husbands popped in, so we ended up with an order of meatballs too. We absolutely loved them! They had a very bright flavor with a hint of some sort of spice in the sauce, which was amazing. We plan to come back for an actual dinner at some point soon as the food that we had was exceptional. The menu is extensive; the ambience is nice; and, the service was excellent. A bit of backstory for you -- the owners had moved from New York back to Kentucky after many years in the high-end restaurant business in New York City. The "Madeline" in the name of the restaurant is not the name of either owner; it's the name of one of the owner's mothers -- traditionally done in the restaurant business for good luck!
