Disappointing Experience After Years of Loyalty I've been a…read moreloyal customer of Keith's since his days working out of his backyard and continued to support him after he opened his shop. Unfortunately, my recent experience has made me question Keith's commitment to his clients. I brought my car in for brake pads, and Keith texted me saying that the wheel lug locks key was broken and that I would need to take my car elsewhere to have the wheel locks removed. When I picked up my car keys, I noticed that two of the wheel locks were broken and two were still intact. After getting the intact wheel locks removed at a tire shop, the tire shop said we cannot fix someone else's mistake. I reached out to Keith and informed him that the wheel locks were broken, NOT the wheel lock key. However, Keith insisted that he had given me the key and said the wheel locks are broken, which was false, as I found it in the vehicle after I got off the intact wheel locks. Rather than taking responsibility for the mistake, Keith claimed that whoever previously worked on the car had over-tightened the wheel locks. He also stated that his shop did not have the tools to fix the issue, offering no solution. When I asked why he continued after breaking one wheel lock, his response was that they would replace three of the pads and leave the one until I fixed it. I ended up paying $140 to remove the remaining two broken wheel locks. Additionally I paid Keith $180 for the brake pads, even though the issue was not properly addressed, and the customer service was lacking. It's disheartening to have such a poor experience after being a loyal customer for so long. Keith's business would benefit greatly from improving its customer service and taking responsibility when things go wrong.

I still gave it a try cause It was the closest place to me and I was honestly desperate. I get there and I'm so glad I decided to go! I was greeted right away and Josh said he will help me even tho I knew they were closing. I was so grateful and surprised at how fast they fixed my car. Turns out they didn't have any reviews yet because they just opened this location a few weeks ago (talk about not judging a book by its cover lol) and their other location had like tons of 5 star reviews. Now that he has expanded h his business to Franklin Square...seems like customer service has gone down the toilet. He is not on site anymore and won't speak to customers even if there is a disagreement. There is a young guy behind the desk that seems to be running things now. I had an unfortunate encounter with him where he lied about calling me to approve services to my vehicle that I did not approve. I just wanted my brakes and rotors changed and that was confirmed when I dropped off the vehicle...only to be forced to pay for an extra tire rotation ($50 -while tires were already taken off already for brake job!) and coolant top off ($20) that was not pre approved (I had the tires already rotated that same morning at the dealership with an oil change!!). I understand that miscommunications can happen, but don't lie and tell me you called me to approve the extra services!! I have no tolerance for dishonesty!! PLEASE AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COSTS!!!

He ended up replacing my backup light with a used bulb that was dim and charged me 50 dollars for it. Next, he "replaced" my entire washer fluid reservoir when only the hose needed replacing . A panel from the bottom of my car ended up falling out 2 days later and all my washer fluid fell out. I ended up leaving with more problems than I had because I had to find someone who could put the panel back up. Avoid these people if you can.

I recently found an honest and good mechanic shop Called Central Valley Auto repair. Mr. Muhammad is a very nice man and made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. I have been hearing and feeling a grinding noise on the right side of my Ford explorer truck for a while. I kept postponing to get it fixed due to not knowing any shops i felt i could trust. I started looking online for the best shops near me. I came across Central Valley Auto Repair. I took my car there and spoke with Mr. Muhammad, he said I would have to leave the truck and he will inspect and give me a call. He call me back shortly with a great quote for the parts and labor so told him to proceed with the repairs. A few minutes later he called me again and stated there was more issues that needed to be addressed with the repairs. The quote for the additional parts and labor was also great and fair. When I went to pick up the truck Mr. Muhammad informed me the truck was repaired and better than when I brought it in and if anything is wrong with his work to bring it back and he will fix it. As I drove the car home I kept thinking to myself this car is riding amazing feels like it was new. Before I reached home I got another call from Mr. Muhammad asking how was the car riding. To be fair, the staff and mechanics are very nice and respectful I told them what mini said the problem probably was, and they said it was absolutely not the problem. They tried to ask me to pay over $5,000 extra to continue to "diagnose the problem" and at that point I said no. This doesn't seem right. Took the car to my aunts trustworthy mini guy, and guess what. The problem was exactly what they said it was. Just the key fob. They also checked everything that MSpec said I should get replaced, and they did it for the smallest fee. I walked out paying $500. Go to Meadowbrook Collision in Freeport for your mini. The owner answered the phone call & said auto repair shops in Inwood are all closed on Suns cuz of auto parts shops are also close. So no parts coming in means no parts getting repair. I was devastated since I wasn't from the neighborhood. I was from Queens. Very far from where I am. The owner was super accommodating in coming to the shop on a Sun when its close just to get my car into the shop. He told me he'll take care of the parts & let me know what's wrong with it & the pricing. Monday came around, true to his words, he'd let me know over the phone that it was the same as my suspicion predicted, it was my brake pads that flew off. Told me the pricing and had it fixed after I agreed to it. Got it done within the same day & I was able to pick it up around noon after being notified like about 3.5 hrs before. I was super happy with the work & the results. The service was superb and the shop owner & his son was extremely helpful and not hostile like some of the shops that I'd went to. A helpful tip .... Frank the owner, Carol who handles all the appointments and Johnathon the mechanic feel like neighborhood family and friends that take care of you and explain what is going on. I went for an oil change my first time and it was fast work. The second time, I went to change my rear brakes and when I messed up by buying the wrong fit they got me the right parts and installed it at a great price which cancelled out my costly mistake. (For reference)I went to a different shop for a quote on installing my brakes to do my homework and they wanted to charge me 500$ I went a third time for my inspection and it was fast and easy.
