Stopped in for breakfast while staying in Indian Beach. Greeted with a handshake from a gentleman I'm assuming would be the owner. Promptly seated and were brought drinks right away. I had just eggs and corned beef hash and my companions had omelettes. All the food was tasty and ,being a Christian, them having Christian music was a plus for me. The place seemed impeccably clean and newly remodeled. Definitely worth stopping!

This place was surprisingly good. Needed to eat in a rush and came here. I ordered the shrimp burger. It was awesome. Added tartar sauce and a dash of spice. Perfection. Burger was loaded with with shrimp. Perfectly cooked, nice crunch and springy middle and also well seasoned. Really fantastic.

Awesome street car diner that is 100 yrs old. Great food and the waitress was. wonderful. I would come back to this icon. No fancy food just good food.

As always, hard working wait staff, busting their butts to serve generous servings of consistently hot and yummy breakfast favorites. Coffee is hot and good iced tea. The place is worn and comfortable with lots of windows, booths offer some personal space with feeling overcrowded. Decent prices. If you're at Atlantic Beach it's worth stopping here for breakfast! We do as frequently as possible.

    French Toast

Skip and go somewhere else! French toast was horrible. Not even real French Toast, the cook dipped it in pancake batter, which takes away the whole purpose of French toast. I did show the server the issue, and she didn't even try to correct it or offer a different item. Eggs were also fake, liquid eggs.

Wr stopped here on our way out of town. The waitresses really hustle. The food was good and great for what ailed us from the night before.

My favorite place to eat on the beach. Staff is great, food delicious and very reasonably priced. I always look forward to eating there.

That kind of kindness and customer service is hard to find. The waitresses were some of the nicest, friendliest people we've ever been served by. They were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home despite how busy they were. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the entire experience was outstanding. If you're looking for incredible breakfast and genuinely exceptional service, this is the place to go. We'll definitely be back! We started going here the first day in vacation and we only went to their restaurant because of how kind, welcoming and generous these people could be. This is the best breakfast place ever. I mean the prices are great and incredibly cheap.

It is simply authentic and charming in its lack of pretentiousness; it's not a tourist trap, but a dependable staple of American food. The food came really fast after ordering, everything was accurate as ordered, and the portions were all really generous, ESPECIALLY considering how reasonable are all of the prices! For my family of five, it came to about $45 including tip. You just cannot beat that! Standard diner fare, nothing fancy, but it was all done well. The pancakes were REALLY TASTY, and I'm a bit of a pancake snob. That leads to our one complaint: the only syrup they had was Log Cabin, and the quality of the pancakes deserves a real maple syrup. My wife is from New England and now travels with emergency real maple syrup in her purse.

I had the Asian Crunch with grilled shrimp and my hubby had the house salad with grilled tuna! We both loved the choices and almost licked our plates clean. Step one should be the same for everyone. Get there when they open at 4:45 because damn does this place get busy quick even on weekdays. When I rolled into the parking lot at 4:40, I had probably 15-20 already at the door. Step two, if you get there at open, consider bar seating. Clam Chowder - Scalloped Scallops - Key Lime Pie I'll just keep it at this. Is anything I ordered going to reinvent the culinary wheel? No, and one could argue that the only negative here is that most everything is on the pricey side. But with that said, everything was extremely consistent, everything was brought out perfectly timed, my cup never runnethed (sure, it's a word) empty and the bar staff are all excellent conversationalists. Also one big upside, the ambiance. The bar area is kept dark as it should be in any bar type situation and the music selection was mostly a fantastic mix of classic R&B and Blues. Can't tell you the last time I enjoyed seafood while listening to John Lee Hooker (well, I can and it would be never which is why my mind was sort of blown). Groaney, groan, groan on some of the pricing but the overall situation here is worth the five stars. I get the hype and I get why it's always busy. Also, kudos to the owner who was up front and making sure to thank every single person that walked by/out the door. Very classy.
