I found Scott Coolidge several years ago, and I've followed him ever since. Now that he's at Mary & Friends, it's where I go. Bonus points for being within walking distance from my apartment. Even though Scott is the only one I let near my endangered hair, I've had encounters with others at the salon. Everyone has been super nice and has made me feel at home from the moment I walk in. Pam is very personable, patient, and knowledgeable; I would definitely go back to her again for a touch up! The location had free street parking; Mary & Friend inside is very clean, organized and a lot of space. This is a great way for future barbers to rent space for their own customers too. Pam went above and beyond, and definitely deserve this 5 star for just being awesome; I highly recommend booking with her!

They also have continuing education for the stylists so they can hone their skills. The higher the level of the stylist, which is listed on their site, the higher the base pay. I guess when you make your appointment, you could ask what the base pay of that particular stylist will be. Prices on par for a salon that makes you look nice. Refreshments are available upon request. Beautiful venue and always clean. Every now and then i get an email where they put on a fun event or provide a discount special for the holidays or charity event. I've seen wine and canvas and couple massage packages.
