We had some very simple problems like failure to drain in the bathtub, a slow flushing toilet etc. I scheduled the appointment and they had quick availability, texted me to confirm, showed an image of the technician so I wouldn't be surprised. Friday night my wife and I learned that my mother-in-law had a serious leak in her ceiling. We called several companies, with no one able to see my MIL on an emergency basis. When we finally reached 4 Service Pros, the receptionist promptly connected us with Justin, who was there in 30 minutes. We used 4 Service Pros to install a slide-in gas range after our electric oven/gas cooktop broke. The service involved moving the gas supply a short distance to accommodate the new range and hook up the range with new lines, etc. Everything that could have gone wrong did (the counter cutters from another company showed up late, the space was 1/8" too narrow and we had to have cabinets cut, the technician had a flat tire, etc.). After smelling a gas leak 4 Service Pros came back out again to check their work (it was fine). We have since determined it is a faulty appliance :( Bobby (the technician) was great. Always friendly, patient, cleaned up after his work, on time and did a fine job. The administrative office and manager were also accommodating and worked with me despite all of the issues we had. Just found my new plumbing go to company! Had flooded basement bathroom due to water backing up and coming out of a drain. Original appointment was scheduled for a Saturday, but company was able to send Willis the plumber one day early. Willis was able to help troubleshoot matters and working together we discovered main drain issue had past. Willis gave great guidance on preventive measures we should take each month. He also snaked out a drain that we had concerns about. Willis did a great job and we tested everything several times before he departed to ensure the issues would not repeat. We were in need of water heater repair. 4 Service Pros were professional from the point of setting up appointment for estimates. They were polite and were very patient in explaining to us what is the issue and how they propose to fix it. They are very knowledgeable and experienced. And whenever we called we always get a response or follow up (which is very nice). One thing to keep in mind, *Not really an issue on my side but it may be others; when they scheduled 4 hours window for repair they meant they will arrive within that timeframe not complete the work within that time. Our window was 1-4pm, he arrived exactly 4pm and finished work around 8pm. It may have been them being over booked. read more

Outstanding owner and company! I came home from work after 7:00 pm to a flooded basement after a really hard rain. Our sump pump had failed. After spending a few hours cleaning up, I decided that I would have someone come out the next day because it was so late. I shot off e-mails to two contractors and passed out. I woke up to a call from Greg (the owner) a few minutes later. He offered to come out within the hour and fix the problem, and quoted me a price for installation of a new sump pump that was only about half the cost of the only other option I had found quoted on-line (via Yelp), and still quite a bit cheaper even with the added $160 emergency service fee. He and a plumber came out and had the problem fixed in under an hour -- which was excellent as it had started to rain again and the water in the sump pump reservoir was rising rapidly. I'll definitely be calling these guys should the need arise -- thanks to Greg and the team!! read more

We've used 4 Service Pros for plumbing for several years and have been happy with their work. However, since new owners took over the company, and the plumbers changed, the quality of work has fallen dramatically, as other reviewers have mentioned. On a job to replace a shower cartridge the plumber noticed a small leak, which was great, but replacing it required ordering new fixtures. In the meantime, he did not check his work on the shower, which wasn't done properly, so when we turned it leaked and water sprayed everywhere, causing water damage on the ceiling below. The job was eventually finished, but we were stuck with the damage. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and called them again to replace a faucet in a bathroom sink - and again, they weren't careful and damaged the porcelain sink in multiple places when they removed the old faucet, so we now will have to have the sink refinished. No response to our complaint. We're done, found a new plumber - do not recommend read more

We called this company to have our hvac checked out. Technician they sent was so professional and thorough, I bought a service contract immediately. Later that day we realized that our water heater was not working. The second time technician who came out that night informed us that the gas water heater would cost $900 but the total cost would amount to $3500. He was going to order and replace the heater the next day. He asked for trip payment but when we told him about our service contract, he was surprised, but he pressed us on the trip being an "emergency", which we refuted. When I came to know about the next day installation, I asked for a postponement because we had a family birthday celebration at home. But he argued about the postponement and asked us if we were going for other estimates. That sent a light bulb switch to go on in my brain and upon checking the internet we realized we were paying too much. I called the operations manager but I was stalled and could only speak to the customer service rep. If they keep sending technicians like Zachary, I will be cancelling my service contract with them for next year! Needless to say, we got our water heater from another company, total cost $2100. read more

We called this company to fix a shower that was leaking and they responded in a timely manner. The initial consultation was $189 just for coming out, contractor was unable to temporally stop the leak, he took pictures and told my husband he was going to try to find the broken piece to replace it. Two days later he called to tell us he was unable to find the piece and the entire shower system needed to be replaced, the estimate was a little over $1,500 (depending on additional parts, issues it could be more). We asked him to break down the invoice, the new shower systems alone was $700 but when I googled the model I was able to find the same exact one (same model and brand) from multiple sites for less than $400 even though I'm not a profesional. In addition we were told he needed to remove possibly several tiles and break the wall in our bedroom (that would cost us even more money to repair dry wall and paint the entire bedroom). We decided to buy the shower system ourselves and luckily we were able to find a plumber that was able to do the job for less without breaking the wall and only removing one. The owner personally called my husband and I sincerely apologizing for the the way the project was handled. He issued us a refund for the $189 and even offered to send a technician free of charge. We appreciate the integrity with which the owner handled the situation and we will be happy to give them a try next time. read more

About midnight on Thur morning we woke up to a water sensor alarm we had near our water heater. We saw and heard water seeping out of the top seam. After shutting off the water inlet, shutting off the heater circuit, and relieving the water pressure in the tank I spent the next few hours researching who to call first thing in the morning. After calling a number of companies with no response or no one that could come out any time soon, my wife spoke with Britany at 4 Service Pros. Britany was extremely helpful. Cody from 4 Service Pros came out that day, assessed the situation and identified all the work that needed to be done to do the job right. Cody was extremely smart and a great communicator - he explained everything that needed to be done and it was clear he was a master at his trade (in fact he is a master plumber). He is a true professional and you could tell he loves what he does, is damned good at it and took pride in his craftsmanship. He even overheard a running toilet and couldn't help but want to fix it. As far as the work itself, they were prompt for the initial visit and ahead of schedule and super quick with the installation of the new unit. Initially it looked like he wouldn't be able to install the unit until Saturday but when we explained that wouldn't work for us for a number of reasons, he went way above and beyond and arranged to come out late Friday afternoon. He recruited Shane to assist. These guys were in and out in less than 2 hours and did an amazingly clean and professional job. Cody explained everything we needed to know about maintenance etc to my wife. Cody's sweat job was amazingly clean - nicest/cleanest plumbing job I've seen, again his pride in his work showed. Just had an excellent experience with 4Service Pros. Called about a a leak in gas pipe going to stove at a rental property (Wash Gas had shut off gas until repair could happen). They were there within the hour. Fixed the problem in 10 minutes. There was some confusion about the billing, which Dave (plumbing service manager?) in the office promptly and courteously resolved. This company truly cares about their clients. I had a slight leak in the basement and normally wouldn't have called anyone but since I was leaving for vacation I wanted to have it checked out. Someone was at my house within a half hour. He explained everything he was doing and showed me the water on his camera. Very friendly and professional. It ended up just being from my son slashing a bunch of water in the bathroom and it going down the A.C. vent. It dried up not too long later. Originally I was charged for the diagnosis which I was bummed about since it ended up being nothing. However, later that evening the owner called after seeing the ticket and talked to me about the call and ended up refunding everything (even though I would have been fine paying a little bit for them coming out to the house) since they never took anything apart and were not there long. Customer service like this is unheard of these days! I will be using this company for any future issues in my house and would highly recommend them to everyone. read more

We were in a bind on a Sunday when our sewer line got clogged and we couldn't use any plumbing fixtures in our home. Called up 4 Service Pros, and Greg, the president, answered his phone and worked with us to get someone out to our house the same day, on a Sunday afternoon. Most others wouldn't come out until the next day or so. The plumber that came out, Shane, was extremely professional and informative, as he cleared our drain. Upon completion, they even ran a camera down the drain the entire length to confirm the blockage was removed and to evaluate the condition of the line (our house was built in 1960 and has the original cast iron sewer line to the street). We even got a copy of the video from the camera survey when it was done. We elected to have our line hydro-jetted by 4 Service Pros that week. They showed up on time, did the hydro-jetting, and ran the camera again to show us the results. The process only took 2 hours and again we got a copy of the "renewed" sewer line to our house. They even let us watch the screen as they ran the camera the entire time. When they were done, they did a great job cleaning up any hint that they were there. About a week later, we managed to clog the line again (our own fault) and Greg came out himself with his plumbing manager to see what the problem was since it was so recent. They were able to quickly identify the clog was too much toilet paper and didn't even charge us since we had just had them out for two other services. We HIGHLY recommend 4 Service Pros. They are professional, prompt and treat their customers fairly no matter what. They aren't out just to make a killing on their customers' misfortunes and clogged pipes. I would recommend people only use this company! They are the most responsive and professional services company I have had the pleasure to work with. As soon as you call, you are able to talk to a very friendly person who can help to schedule an estimate or service that you need. The person on the phone is very knowledgeable and seems to be invested in the company as they are always willing to answer any and all questions. Turns out it's a family business that's being managed right! Before the technician comes out, they send you an email confirmation with a photo so you know who to expect-- this was something I appreciated. Although they gave me a window of when the technician would arrive, the technician always called me way in advance to give me an ETA and once asked if he could come early! The technician was super friendly and really a pro-- the estimate visit took about ten minutes and he emailed me an itemized estimate with all of my options within ten minutes of leaving the house. I specifically requested he come back to execute the service and they were able to schedule him to come back within a week. We got two central lights installed on the second floor and Sean was able to get it done quickly, a little over an hour, without punching any holes into the walls and helped us to install the lights we bought. I've had to work with a lot of different contractors for multiple items to spruce up my home but this company was by far the best. If we have anything else to fix up, I will call them first to see if they offer the service-- hopefully they do! Also, as an added bonus, I got quotes from 4-5 different electricians and they were the most affordable-- it may be because the company has different contractors available or have been doing this for awhile. We had a leak of unknown, but suspected origin, coming from an upstairs bathroom into a kitchen closet. We weren't sure where it was coming from, but instead of testing out several theories, we used the internet to get help from 4 Service Pros. Although on a Friday afternoon, Willis sent an email with his picture telling us his eventual arrival time around 5:00. He hadn't been in the house two minutes when he diagnosed the problem. Not missing caulk in the shower. Not a leak in the supply pipe beyond the bath. Not something in the line from the hot water heater in the attic. He quickly spotted some discoloration near the tiles surrounding the toilet (that wasn't obvious to us) and found that its shutoff valve was not functioning properly and probably hadn't for many months. With his expertise and experience, he figured out the issue in a matter of minutes. It would have taken us days. He also took steps to shut off the malfunctioning toilet, and then he recommended options for a better long-term solution with competitive cost estimates. He was efficient, wore a Covid mask and booties, and engaged us in interesting conversations. Rather than an angst-filled evening, we had a pleasant experience with Willis, and we felt much-relieved to have a simpler problem than we feared. The whole process took less than 15 minutes. Mistakes happen, and one happened here, but the guys who did the work were pleasant, professional, and diligent, and the owner did what he could to make it right. I used this company because they were able to get to my project sooner than another contractor I work with at times, and I would call them again in a pinch. I had an issue with my bathtub faucet not turning off. I contacted 4 Service pros the next morning and was able to get an appointment confirmed for a couple hours later. Almost eight years ago, we had an electrical fire that gutted our house. Our shady insurance company hired an even shadier contractor, who created several bizarre NEW fire hazards - a fact we recently learned when appliances and lights began doing strange things and breakers were tripping for no apparent reason. I'd had PHX out in September to install recessed lights in the kitchen and was very pleased with the job they did. So last week, after an appliance blew both the circuit it was on AND one to the heat pump on the other side of the house - twice - I called PHX in a panic. Greg, the owner, spent at least ten minutes on the phone with me that Saturday morning, listening to my description of the situation, explaining how we could safely use a space heater on the washing machine's dedicated circuit (the heat pump had died after the breaker tripped the second time), and reassuring me that my house was not going to go up in smoke over the weekend. He came out Monday afternoon and did a thorough inspection of the entire house and garage, during which he provided me with a valuable education about the electrical doings of my home. Tuesday morning, he e-mailed me a list of his findings and suggestions, prioritized from immediate concerns to those that could wait a while. All of this, at no charge. Today, Mike from PHX came and took care of the most pressing work (live wire that ended in a piece of electrical tape, light switch that had inexplicably had the cover removed and the wires capped off, and a couple other things). What he'd anticipated would take maybe an hour turned out to take two hours but he spent the time necessary to do the job right without charging extra (and while still maintaining a good humor). I learned even more from him about how and why things worked (or not) as well as many interesting facts that will help me make decisions about future work we might have done to make our house even safer while using less energy. PHX has consistently impressed me with their knowledge and professionalism. Their prices are fair, they're generous with their time and explanations, and they clearly know their stuff. We have a lot of work to be done in the next few months (whole house surge protector, replacing the 30-year-old electrical panel, replacing exterior lights whose bulbs keep exploding for reasons unknown) and will absolutely be calling PHX to do it. read more
