I've been using Sa's Plumbing services for a few years now. Mr. Sa has done many plumbing related fixes or new jobs in our home. He's installed a new whole house water filter system, repaired aging valves and fixtures, and helped to troubleshoot and resolve a main line water issue that we were experiencing. The pricing is always very reasonable, great clean service, expert craftsmanship, and overall, a pleasant experience. It's a little amusing watching him work with his team because he's like a surgeon when calling out for a tool, joint compound, or a fitting and his team surgically hands him what he needs. I put in the request in Yelp Friday night and Sa replied and arrived Saturday at noon. I did not mark this job as an emergency but I guess he was in the area. My kitchen faucet was leaking and needed to be replaced. I also needed to get the tubes snaked since water started to back up. I don't know how Sa's prices compared to others because I didn't shop around but the quality of work was definitely great. Everything was fixed and Sa helped clean the sink afterwards. Mr. Sa left me with a toilet that needs at least one inch of "grout" between the floor & the toilet. The old toilet was set on a bed of "cement", and he did not remember that when he was at my house a month and a half before when I asked him if this would be a problem before I ordered a new toilet. The phalange is apparently too high for the floor. I also mentioned this to the person who handles his calls and schedules. After he installed the new toilet on top of the older "cement", he chipped some out and told me get some "cement" and fill it in, then just scrape it smooth. Well, I looked it up and I don't think I need "cement". I think I need plaster of Paris. I'm just going to call another plumber. I'm sure if I attempted to do this myself (female in mid 60s who is not handy), it would be a mess. Plaster of Paris sets fast from what I saw online. Hopefully I can get some of my money back. You could tell this guy was a good plumber but in too much of hurry to rush through his jobs for the day. read more

Had a corroded copper pipe in the crawl space that was leaking water and Mr. Sa came over and replaced the pipe despite being in a tight, tricky spot. He also looked at the master shower which was leaking water down to the lower level bathroom wall that caused water damage above the doorframe. Thank God I found Mr. Sa because I had a prior contractor take a look and assess that the pipe joiner needed to be replaced but never responded back as to when he could come back and deal with it. Mr. Sa cut a small hole in the drywall on the other side and clearly showed me that the problem turned out to be lack of proper caulking around the shower handle plate where the water was coming in through some of the screw holes. I received a fair and reasonable estimate over the phone from his son, and the Sa team showed up on time on my preferred day for scheduling. Our closet with the old water heater was a tight squeeze for working in, but Mr. Sa did great work getting our old water heater out without issue and installing the new one properly. Contacted Sa's Plumbing & Heating due to great reviews on Yelp. Service requested was to troubleshoot a broken water pipe under our deck (approx. two feet off the ground) and to replace/extend two outside faucets further up the wall (instead of reaching near ground level). Mr. Sa responded the next day, assessed the work, provided his recommendations, and was very clear about what the project would involve. He and his wife (work partner) arrived in a couple of days to work on the project. Mr. Sa removed and replaced only one slab of lumber on our deck to fix the broken pipe (I had expected a good portion of the deck would have to be removed). He also arranged the pipes so that water would drain properly when preparing for winterization. He rearranged our plumbing in our crawl space to have the valve closer to the entry/exit door instead of having us crawl further down the crawl space (very convenient and definitely a game-changer)! He cut a small portion for our bathroom wall to work on one of the exterior faucets and installed a very nice white access panel in case future work needed to be done on the faucet. He provided great instructions on the process of draining pipes before the winter. Sa's Plumbing & Heating exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely use them in the future. I can't say enough about Mr Sa (and his wife as his assistant) I walked into a wet bathroom floor. The toilet value was leaking overnight (damaged my cabinet) and I couldn't shut the water off. Turned the main water value off and it still was leaking. I called Mr Sa and asked if he would please come over. He doesn't work on weekends - text me your address. Within minutes Mr Sa and his wife were here and replaced the water value (stopped the leak) Who does that now of days? So very kind and thoughtful and knows what he's doing. Had two drains that were leaking under sinks and wanted one to also have the faucet replaced. Called them and they were super responsive. I had to tell them to wait a bit until the new faucet got delivered but they came over pretty soon after I messaged them it arrived and did everything super fast and to my satisfaction. A few days later I reached out to them to see if they could come in to diagnose the issue and he immediately quotes me $400. I never knew prices goes up like stock. I then clarify if the price he quoted me was for 2 toilets and he gives me an extremely vague and dismissive reply. I thank him for his time and he replies with "good luck". I had a situation where I thought my kitchen sink was clock and every time I used my dishwasher the kitchen flooded. I called sa's they came in an hour; Joeseph diagnosed that I had a failed drainpipe (not a clog bug rotted holes in the 60+ year old black iron pipe). In less than an hour and a half he had cut out the failed pipe section and remedied the situation inserting a new PVC drainpipe section and tying it into my existing drainage system. Problem solved in less than 3 hours for only $700.00. Great, responsive, service that was very affordable by a plumber who definitely knows what he's doing. Quick response to request for service. We had a clogged drain and he got working on snaking it, but kept coming out wringing his hands, which didn't instill confidence. He thought he could solve the problem by enlarging a hole on the drain cover. He drilled a hole that looks pretty funky now. As he was leaving, he said he couldn't warrenty the work. Said it felt like there was something in the pipe and if the problem return he'd need to cut the main waste pipe to try to get it out. Long story short, after paying Sa's $200, two weeks later the clog returned. I called in a different plumber who had to do some maneuvering, but was able to snake it and clear the clog without cutting any pipes. I hate to write a negative review for a nice guy, but if you have a tricky job, you might want to call someone else. read more
