Not impressed and would not recommend this place to anyone. First off, they have an ad that says "50% Off shock installation when you buy a set of shocks", that's all the ad says, which is the reason I was willing to give them a shot. Of course when I asked about this they said NO it doesn't apply if you have coilovers on the front, it's only for separate shock setups like a Jeep has, or something like that. I couldn't get the discount. Misleading ad for sure but I decided to go ahead and let them do the work anyway. No attention to details. I had them install height adjustable shocks on the front of my truck and told them I only wanted it lifted 2" so I could maintain some rake for towing. I told them I did not want it 'leveled' like a lot of guys do. I got it back and it was lifted about 2.75". I went back to have them adjust it and first of all the manager tries to convince me it's 'just an optical illusion'. Those were his exact words. What a joke! I told him I measured everything precisely before and after, the tape measure doesn't lie, then he just walked away. I spent $1000s of dollars on this and a set of tires, then they charged me another $500+ to fix it on top of the already exorbitant initial cost. Everyone I spoke to here sounded like they had no idea what they were talking about. I'm not sure what the issue was, never got any kind of explanation. They couldn't care less that I wasn't happy with the setup. They accepted zero responsibility for their work and just tried to convince me I was the one who was wrong. I regret ever going to this place and will be taking my business elsewhere in the future. Very poor customer service. read more

I went in for new tires and a few very basic service issues. They sold me the tires - but did not help with any of the other small issues because they weren't able to charge for them. But instead they recommended multiple things that I did not need. Basic stuff based on mileage. Total cost was $4,200. Then I told them I wasn't interested in spending even close to that and I never heard back from them. read more

Great experience at the 4WP store in Frisco. Went in to look at lifts for my GMC Sierra. First time to aftermarket lift a truck; the guys took time to explain different options, show different wheel and tire options, and helped me pick out a setup that makes sense for me (basically I just wanted a tall truck that I'll take off-roading but not crawling). For a super reasonable price they got me a 6" lift, new wheels and tires, alignment, and a warranty since my 15 year old will be learning to drive in it. Booked my appointment, ended up dropping it off a day early to fit my schedule better, and they got me finished up early. All around great experience and fair price. read more

I want to start by saying that I do not like writing negative reviews. I would much rather share something positive. However, purchasing from "4 Wheel Parts" was an awful experience from beginning-to-end, and I hope that this review saves somebody the trouble. Rather than giving an exhaustive list of every issue I had with 4WP, I'll summarize my three main complaints: 1) They lost my order: I ordered some wheels over the phone and paid for half of it upfront. Two weeks later, I called to get a status update and it turns out they never pushed my order through so they had to re-order the wheels. 2) They overcharged me an extra $150: I took advantage of 4WP's Price Match Guarantee. However, when I paid for the second-half of my order I found out that they only applied this discount to one of the wheels (thankfully I asked for a printed receipt and caught this). I also had to call multiple times just to get my refund. 3) Bad communication: As mentioned above, I had to call this location multiple times just to get charged the correct amount. Before that, when they were re-ordering my order that they lost, I had somebody tell me he would figure out the issue and then I would get a call back. However, nobody called back! So if I didn't hassle these people about my order and my refund, I never would have gotten either. There were also some smaller issues that I won't bother mentioning, but the bottom line is that a customer should expect better than this when spending over $1,000. I truly regret giving 4WP my business, and I hope this reviews spares anybody who is considering them. read more

Horrible customer service. Scheduled an appt and they proceeded to mark me down on the wrong date. Yes, I know I was correct on this one due to the day they put me down I had a birthday celebration and would never have scheduled on that date. They were not too pleasant in trying to help. 2 take. 7 hours to figure out. I also said that this is something that should have been stated before the drop off. I am furious at this point when the manager comes storming out with a attitude and cuts us off mid sentence and says with a nasty tone " you have two choices, either take your keys or leave your truck overnight and we will remove them tomorrow." I definitely didn't appreciate the tone especially when the issue was your fault to begin with and it took 8 hours to communicate anything to me . I took my keys and left and got home and decided to call up the company that makes the side rails. AMP RESEARCH basically told me that they must be incompetent because they should work fine on my vehicle. They said the only reason they wouldn't is if I had the ltd 1500 custom trail boss refresh which has the new digital dash with the digital meters. Which I don't have I have the older model. He also sent me a email of tests that could have been run to see if maybe I had a bad Controller or bad OBDII. All in all I would say this experience has definitely made it clear to me how they don't care if they anger or disappoint customers and their knowledge is very limited. read more
