I looked around the area for a reliable state inspection shop and saw that Xpress wasn't too far away. I went on a Wednesday morning, and didn't see anyone ahead of me upon arriving. There were a couple people sitting on folding chairs; one of them got up as I approached them. He was a friendly, young man. I gave him the car keys and auto insurance, and he immediately started the inspection. 5 minutes later, he asked how I wanted to pay, cash or card, and I elected to pay by credit card. The young man came over with a handheld payment terminal and left to finish up on paperwork. After I paid, I brought the terminal back to him, and he kindly gave me back the car keys and passed vehicle inspection confirmation. I called this business in advance to check to see if there were lines of cars waiting, because it was the last day of March (& last day to inspect for the month of march ) and the attendant answered the call quickly and told me that he was wide open with no cars waiting. I rushed over and he did the inspection promptly! I can always count on the employees at this location to be friendly, polite, and extremely helpful! Definitely will come back here for my emission test or out of state emission test. Yes it does take out of State plate, DL, and insurance all out of state. Very efficient, effective and super nice. Understand if car is Registered out of state that is fine, still can do the emission test. Over 5 stars if you are in state or out of state for emission test. read more

I have been here several times with all 5 of our vehicles and the customer service has been outstanding each time!

In and out about 10 mins flat however only had to do my safety inspection. Not sure how much more time it would have taken to do emissions test. Service person was courteous. I asked them beforehand if it didn't pass for any reason if I would have to pay and they said no but didn't need it so cant confirm for sure. They only do inspections so they there is no upsale on anything like brakes. They do sale wipers, bulbs and gas caps for a higher price than you would get elsewhere. I would go here again for inspection. read more

This was the smoothest car inspection I've ever had done, and it was less than 25 dollars! I drove from dallas to this location because of the reviews, and I'm glad I did! I was actually waiting in line at a kwik kar to get my inspection when I saw this place on google and decided to try it out. I was in and out in less than five minutes! DO NOT come to this place!!! Never have seen so rude staff before. Nada Cheaito will use the smallest cosmetic issue which was there for years without any problem to fail you. An reasonable person will tell you "hey here is the problem, I can't pass you" when he/she does the brief checking on the car. She did not. She waited until she completed everything and you paid then tell you "oh this is the law". Will never come back. read more

Arrived at 4:40pm (they close at 5). Xpress State Inspection is a nice little shop behind a gas station - can fit about 2-3 cars total. The owner, Riaz, took care of my inspection quickly and thoroughly. He was very professional and described what I needed to address before my next inspection. The special he is running also saved me some money compared to taking it to other places. I will definitely be back when I need an inspection or minor work (he does brakes and various other jobs), and have recommended him to my friends and family as well. read more
