I don't leave reviews often, but this one is earned. This was my first time ever upgrading suspension, so I had a LOT of questions going in. I brought my 2026 RAM 1500 Rebel in for a full BDS suspension system with Fox 2.5 Performance Elite shocks, and honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Taylor was phenomenal. He didn't just sell me parts -- he educated me. We went back and forth on lift height, wheel specs, offset, and tire width. At one point I was leaning toward running a 12-inch wide tire. Taylor recommended stepping down to an 11-inch instead for better ride quality and less road noise. I'm incredibly glad I listened. The truck looks aggressive, sits perfectly, and the road noise is almost nonexistent. The ride is smooth, controlled, and better than I expected. You can tell he genuinely cares about getting customers into the right setup -- not just the biggest one. Install was clean. Alignment is spot on. No vibrations, no weird noises, no shortcuts. So I had them install a 6 in lift on my Toyota Tacoma looking for a professional install . Wishing I had checked reviews first. Was over charged that they couldn't or didn't want to fix. It took my credit card provider to fix. Then having issues not long after. Come to find out I didn't get all of the parts of the lift kit I paid for. That would have prevented my power steering issue. break hoses and abs lines bolts missing and they had no idea what I was talking about when I called. Nothing clamp down. I used to shop at 4 Wheel Parts in Thousand Oaks all the time. I've spent over $20,000 here modifying my last truck--lift kits, wheels, tires, accessories, you name it. This was my go-to spot for years. And I was always happy to go there, service was excellent and they always had great advice. So naturally, when I picked up a new truck and wanted to start another build, I came back. Big mistake. The customer service has gone completely downhill. The staff acts like they're doing you a favor just by acknowledging you. Communication is horrible--phone calls go unanswered, messages are ignored, and when you do get someone on the line, they give you conflicting info. They gave me a lot of incorrect information. I did a lot of research for this new build and knew quite a bit about what I was looking for. They didn't know anything about the products I was asking for. After all the money I've spent here, I expected at least some basic professionalism. Instead, I left frustrated and took my business elsewhere. I was ready to build out another full rig, but I'm not handing over a dime to a shop that can't handle the basics. They've completely lost a loyal customer. If they had been upfront about their limitations, I wouldn't have ordered the headers in the first place. I've had a lot of work done at this location and the team always addresses whatever issue is at hand. I recently bought a used Toyota forerunner, and the prior owner had mismatched the springs on the front and rear. Took my lifted truck to get an alignment that another shop in town messed up and could 't figure out. Spoke to Patrick @ 4 Wheel Parts and be handled everything! After a few suggestions we ended up replacing wheel axles, the drive shaft and trucks driving right and aligned! I went there today for "just an alignment" on my new SPC upper control arms that I installed. They of course did it right away without delay at a reasonable cost. Then it got good. Patrick offered me the floor model BFG tires. Truth be told I needed new tires. Recently BFG just updated the their tires to a newer model so he offered his floor model at a big discount; the only problem was they were 17s and I had 16s. Then he offered me used (like new) rims a previous customer traded in for just $200.00 for 4 rims. So now I got an alignment, new tires and rims for less than I would have paid at Costco! Went here a little over 2 weeks ago to get a quote for a leveling kit, all new tires and rims on my Trail Boss. I brought another quote with me from another local shop. At the time they seemed like they really wanted to price match it. They told me they would call me back with a price match that day at the latest end of business the following day. Needless to say I never heard back from them they took down all my information including my address and phone number. Nothing back. Look I could understand if you couldn't price match another shop. But at least call a customer and let them know that. I ended up at another shop across the street to get the work done. They not only price matched but also were able to quote me the same day. Shame because it was a 4k job they ended up loosing out on. Not sure what the deal is but not even a call back. read more

I then received an automated email monthly for 4 months stating part was delayed. Called customer service and they could not provide any eta for the part. Canceled order and requested a refund. We came in before our move to Michigan because our custom roof we purchased through you guys was horribly leaking & under warranty . The glue holding everything together was put on very poorly & It was all figured out that a replacement roof was going to be sent to your Cleveland location no charge and we would meet them there. cue COVID HAPPENED , shipping was a mess. a stand still. 2 stars for the friendly service in the store and for Andres, the (supervisor?) in the workshop. Otherwise, this places makes me weary to bring my truck back here. I purchased a tonneau cover through 4WP's website. I found a better price at Amazon after I purchased it and called 4WP and they were friendly and price matched the price without an issue. We set up an installation date and time and everyone I spoke to on the phone were very friendly. I dropped my truck off on 1/11/22 and they said it'd be about an hour to install. About 45 minutes later, they called me and told me it was ready. I went back and this is where I start to have an issue. Instead of coming outside to show me the work on the truck or make sure it was done properly, they just charged me and sent me on my way. I didn't really review the tonneau cover in the parking lot as it looked installed properly. When I got home to Simi Valley, I opened it and noticed that the rail on the driver side was lose and installed on a slope which made locking the tonneau cover almost impossible. The passenger side rail was installed properly. I drove all the way back to Thousand Oaks and the person that helped me at the counter was helpful and had me bring my truck behind to their shop where they had one of the techs (Chris, I believe) check out the installation. He didn't say anything to me and went to work on it but he didn't seem to know what he was doing - he tried to bend the rail back into place and instead broke one of the plastic clips that secured it. He went to go get Andres, who was friendly and took care of the problem in about 20 minutes. While I am pleased with how the installation ended up in the end - it appears to be installed properly now - the fact that they didn't check the work with me before they sent me on my way, the fact that I had to come all the way back from Simi to take care of this issue, and the fact that they installed it improperly in the first place and were fine with letting me take it makes me think about how they would deal with bigger, more serious installations and how safe they could be. Especially at the hourly labor rate they charge ($143), this work should be done properly the first time. read more

I went to 4 Wheel Parts T.O. because an Airbag system they installed around 4 or 5 years ago needed some maintenance. They said they give free estimates....great! They took my truck to their work bay and I briefly waited for the estimate. When they were done, the sales rep prints out a three page quote. Even though I came in to have simple maintenance performed on my air bag system, they tell me that essentially almost all of my suspension and other things need to be replaced: shocks, track bars, ball joints, axle seals, differential oil change, all 4 tires... for a grand total of over $5700! Oh, and unnoticeably included in the long list was a 5 Year/60K mile extended warranty for $679. Talk about up sell! I passed on their advisement. In my estimation, I have at least another 2 years left on the tires. While my truck is a 2013, it only has only 80k miles on it. They told me they needed to order airlines for air bag system but I never heard back and I will likely go elsewhere. I am the original owner of my truck and it has been serviced at the dealership as per the factory documented scheduled maintenance by RAM for its entire life. With all the regular scheduled maintenance performed, I can't help but wonder why the dealership service advisors didn't make any of these recommendations. As for the business itself, I feel the guys working there were certainly nice and courteous. However, the parking situation is not great. They share a very tiny footprint of 4 or 5 spots with the Tire Center next door. If you have a large vehicle, it is difficult to park. There is also no legal on-street parking in front of the business. read more
