We definitely made the right choice having lunch at 401 Social while shopping in Berlin. I loved the vibe- casual cool & relaxed. Our server was attentive & knowledgeable about the menu which has a nice range of choices. My husband Mmmm'd his way through his smash burger. The char was perfect he said. I really enjoyed my blackened shrimp bowl. The coconut rice & crème sauce was a great touch to balance out the spice of the shrimp. Fresh ingredients made this a winner. Very generous serving too. I'm looking forward to getting the smash chicken burger next time- sounds truly super Yum!

Very chill vibe, mostly locals enjoying their evening. Molly, the bartender was very friendly, kind and took good care of me. Great happy hour options too. The mussels i had were fantastic, the broth was spicy & I really enjoyed it. The French wine i had on HH was good too. I didn't stay for long since I was just passing through but a big crowd came in around 6:00 and the place was packed on a Monday. I love to see folks getting together in a community. Neat concept, beautiful murals & decor, great space for socializing. Food is fantastic, I'd definitely stop by again.

I recently went here for a weekend dinner with my wife and had a solid experience. We were able to get a table immediately and received outstanding service from start to finish. 410 Social was reasonably priced with good portion sizes. We shared the following three dishes, all of which were tasty: Burrata: Rich, creamy burrata, hearty bread, sweet, acidic tomatoes, and a delicious pesto made for a fantastic dish. Tuna Nachos: The chips were crisp, the seaweed salad and shredded cabbage added good freshness, and the jalapenos added nice heat. While the ahi tuna was a bit salty, it was fresh and well-prepared. Fish Tacos: The fish was perfectly cooked, the mango slaw added fresh and sweet elements, and the pickled onion provided great crunch. I would have given 410 Social five stars; however, there were several flies around our food for the second half of the meal despite the AC being on, the door being closed, and us sitting nowhere near the door.

Stopped here for lunch while passing through. Elevated sports bar spot. Server was good, prompt & helpful with the kiddos. Chicken tenders were great. Shoestring fries! Old bay fries were flavorful. Basic b burger was large, 2 smashed burgers! Very good. Chicken sandwich my husband had was eh, very greasy and just too much. Orange crush was on special and very good! Only complaint was there were flys inside the restaurant & that wasn't fantastic while eating. Seemed to be all around town, it was a hot day.

Visited today for the first time from Indiana. The service and ambience were great. I had the Buffalo Fried Oysters and the CrabCake Sammy. Both were phenomenal. I highly recommend.

Good food, mostly American comfort foods likes Burgers, Sandwiches and Fries. Restaurant also Serving Hand Crafted Cocktails. I didn't try this time. The decoration is stylish and chic environment. Friendly and fast service. Free parking lots near by.

This has got to be the coolest restaurant in Berlin with large scale wall art serving as the focal point of the restaurant, I love this modern minimalist look. The art defines the mood creating an instantly chill atmosphere. Lots of tv 's for watching games, and it's much bigger on the inside than I initially thought. Loving the corner couch giving the diner a more intimate dining experience and big window for people watching. We let our awesome server Sam guide us in the menu and he was spot on ! We started with two seafood appies. scampi crostini , and Thai curry clams, we loved the grilled focaccia , the only bread to use to soak up a sauce. We split the " 410 smash burger " , and "tequila lime chicken BLT" , upgrading one sandwich from chips to fries for $3.00. Sam said the shoestring fries are made fresh each day , I'm not a shoestring girl LOL ( lack of interior potato and the never stay hot fry) but they were alright. Enjoyed all the food but definitely want more of the " 410 smash burger ! " RAR makes " 410 social lite" draft for the restaurant 4.5 ABV a light beer with big flavor ! Definitely satisfactory for being lite! If in Berlin I would definitely recommend 410 Social.

If you find yourself wandering the charming streets of Berlin, MD, do yourself a favor and stop at 410 Social -- it's the kind of place that makes a small-town meal feel like a special occasion. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with friendly smiles and service that moved at lightning speed without ever feeling rushed. Now the food -- outstanding. The seafood is clearly a priority here, and it shows. We tried the mussels in white wine and they were divine: perfectly cooked, silky broth with bright aromatics, and ciabatta bread to soak up all the garlicky goodness. Every bite tasted fresh and well-balanced. Other dishes we sampled including the salmon BLT were equally thoughtful and flavorful -- you can tell the kitchen takes pride in sourcing and execution. The fish tacos could have used a little more spice/heat but otherwise a solid experience. The setting makes it even better. Berlin's picturesque Main Street and quiet, scenic vibe give 410 Social a relaxed, neighborly feel that's perfect for date night or a relaxed dinner with friends. It strikes a lovely balance between casual comfort and restaurant polish. Bottom line: if you're passing through Berlin or looking for reliably great seafood with speedy, warm service, 410 Social is a must-visit. Highly recommend the mussels in white wine -- they're worth the trip alone.

Other half my cali burrito. Was too excited to eat it to take a photo before.

Great atmosphere and was extremely pleased with the food. Came with a group of friends and sat on the couches in the corner and had drinks and dinner. The beer selection was great, and cocktails were well done. My wife and I had the Fish Tacos and cali burrito. Tacos tasted amazing and were loaded with fish; cali burrito had medium-cooked steak and all the proper fixins. Great spot and will be back

    Crab dip ($16)

More of a 3.5, but I'll round up for the crab dip. We came here for a late lunch after stopping in Berlin. We entered the restaurant and there was a sign that said "Please wait to be seated." After standing around for a bit, a guy behind the bar told us to sit anywhere. We opted for one of the high tops since the other tables that could seat our group still hadn't been bused yet. They also had patio seating but we opted for indoors. It took awhile for the waitress to come and give us the menus. It was definitely a laidback approach. Condiments and napkins are already available on the table, so some of it is already self-serve. For ambiance, they had numerous tv screens with different daytime shows playing. After we were greeted, the waitress recommended their burgers and got us situated with drinks. Service was friendly. We started with the crab dip appetizer ($16) which we really enjoyed. The crab dip was served in a small ramekin (not a hearty serving size) and comes with crostinis for dipping. It had good chunks of crab, was covered in a layer of cheese, and had a bit of a winey taste. It also felt like an above average amount of time for the food to come out - our appetizer was served after another table, who came and ordered after us, received their entrees. For my entree, I ordered the Frenchy burger ($15; mushrooms, onions, and Swiss) based on her recommendation. The burgers come with chips but you can also get fries for a $3 upcharge. I ordered the chips but the waitress keyed it in wrong and I ended up paying the extra for fries, but I didn't press the issue as the waitress wasn't very present. To add insult to injury, the fries were on the soggy side and overly salted. All of their burgers are double stack smash burgers. Mushroom, onions, and swiss are a winning combination, but the burger would've been elevated with a sauce, and I would've enjoyed more fixings to give it more texture - but unfortunately, they note that they don't do topping or condiment substitutions with their burgers. The burger itself was filling and satisfying, but this isn't a place to go out of your way for in terms of both food and service.

My family and I really enjoyed our lunch at 410 Social! The ambiance and vibe inside are very cool and welcoming. We loved the custom wall murals. Our waitress was prompt, friendly, and checked in on us often. Every person really enjoyed their meal - we were impressed by the flavor and value you were getting from good portions. I would definitely recommend for the next time you're in Berlin!

Stopped by on our way back to Jersey, mostly because of the reviews. Well, we weren't disappointed. The ambience was rustic, reminded us of Brooklyn style bars. High industrial ceilings, cool wall paintings, high tops and regular tables (even a comfy couch). Full bar. Our waitress was kind and responsive. Menu was big but not overwhelming, everything you would expect from a near the MD shore. Food was delicious. Our kids got their usuals (chk strips, fries, Cesar salad) and as per them "this was amazing". We started with tuna nachos which were perfect; crunchy, spicy, fresh. And for main meal, crab cake sandwich (with chips) and fish tacos; both were on point. Maryland's must stop.

    Almost done with my wrap!

Paid $145 for a combo for 2 and it was totally worth it. If you're trying to cut through all the options nearby, come here. You will not be disappointed. A little off the main road and parking is plentiful. Will absolutely make a trip out here just for the food. Also, bring a sweater, it gets really cold inside.

We ordered the seafood combo that included six hard-shell crabs, three pounds of snow crab legs, a half-pound of shrimp, corn, and hush puppies. The hard-shell crabs were decent, although they seemed slightly oversteamed. The meat in the legs was practically fused to the shell, making them difficult to eat. The snow crab legs were good, but the shrimp were noticeably undercooked, which made peeling them nearly impossible. There were a few bright spots. The beer was reasonably priced at $4.50 a pint, and the hush puppies were excellent--arguably the best part of the entire meal. The corn, however, was tough and seemed past its prime. For the roughly $145 we spent on the combo, I expected a better overall dining experience. Sadly, this seems to be the standard at many seafood restaurants these days: higher prices without a corresponding increase in quality. And while it's a minor issue compared to the food, the deck seating chairs were surprisingly uncomfortable and felt out of place for a restaurant charging these prices. Overall, the meal wasn't terrible, but it fell well short of expectations given the cost.
