Paid $145 for a combo for 2 and it was totally worth it. If you're trying to cut through all the options nearby, come here. You will not be disappointed. A little off the main road and parking is plentiful. Will absolutely make a trip out here just for the food. Also, bring a sweater, it gets really cold inside.

My wife, daughter, and I visited Crab Alley again this year, and unfortunately the reality didn't…read morequite match the reviews. We ordered the seafood combo that included six hard-shell crabs, three pounds of snow crab legs, a half-pound of shrimp, corn, and hush puppies. The hard-shell crabs were decent, although they seemed slightly oversteamed. The meat in the legs was practically fused to the shell, making them difficult to eat. The snow crab legs were good, but the shrimp were noticeably undercooked, which made peeling them nearly impossible. There were a few bright spots. The beer was reasonably priced at $4.50 a pint, and the hush puppies were excellent--arguably the best part of the entire meal. The corn, however, was tough and seemed past its prime. For the roughly $145 we spent on the combo, I expected a better overall dining experience. Sadly, this seems to be the standard at many seafood restaurants these days: higher prices without a corresponding increase in quality. And while it's a minor issue compared to the food, the deck seating chairs were surprisingly uncomfortable and felt out of place for a restaurant charging these prices. Overall, the meal wasn't terrible, but it fell well short of expectations given the cost.

Don't be afraid to go for a late lunch on half price burger day, yes every Wednesday before six pm…read more Toppings aren't half off or are the specialty burgers. But it is still a solid half pound grilled Pub House burger for $8 plus toppings. I really enjoyed the lettuce wrap, the burger was crispy outside and juicy inside. None of that smashburger crap here, I got a thick patty brimming with flavor and still pink in the middle. Rippled cut potato chips sprinkled with old bay are the side. I couldn't stop eating them. Husband ordered a burger with a nice fluffy toasted bun, pepperjack cheese and fries, included lettuce, tomato and pickles. Solid. Medium rare by request also perfect. What more could you want? Oh, a $6 orange crush if you wait till 3 when happy hour starts. Trust me if this place were near my Phoenix home I would be a regular patron. Bet it gets rowdy with live bands and beach crowds, but at 3 pm, it's a quiet neighborhood pub. Try it!!

It has a thicker slightly sweet batter, the batter stayed on and the pickles were crispy. The pickle shot had a sting to it, but it was not the worst! For thursday night, we had 3 dollar domestic beers which was a great deal! Pickles, service and beer deal is the only reason i'd give 2 stars. Downside is the bathroom, i've never seen a dive bar bathroom this bad. It is disgusting with fecal matter smeared around the wall, lack of toilet paper, dirty floors and just a lack of overall cleanliness. Not sure if it was just when we went, i'd hope they'll fix the woman's stalls.
