Good food, good service, cold beers! Stopped here while passing through on a Saturday. Lots of TVs for college football. The bartender was friendly and you could really see she had a good relationship with all of the regulars. Wings were meaty and very good sauce. Onion rings weren't too greasy which we really liked. Definitely a great little local spot!

I have been here a few times because this is a favorite go to spot for some of my cousins. The wings here are really good; I remember when I was pregnant a few years back, their wings is all I wanted. The food overall is good; another fave are the cheesesteak rolls.. It's not a really big pub like but nice size and good crowd. Service is also pretty good. Our go to drink is the liquid marijuana. If you like cocktails, try this!

Stopped by after some shopping on a Friday night. Pretty packed for 7pm, server was fast, great music for a night out. Drinks were 7/10. Food could be better but still was good and hot

Pick n' Peel Shrimp 45th Street Sampler

Solid spot. A lot of appetizers choices but no real entrees. We ordered a sampler, pick n Peel shrimp with garlic butter and old bay, cheesesteak nachos and a voodoo bucket. The sample was really good came with cheesesteak roll, onion rings, provolone sticks, mac and cheese balls and chicken fritters(tenders) and an assortment of dipping sauces. The shrimp were really good and flavorful. Nachos were good but a lil spicy so if you don't like spice ask for them without the red peppers. The drink was solid. Only complaint is that service was a tad slow considering it wasn't many people there and there so no offer for water.

It what it's suppose to be. A pub with pub food. Nothing special but food is above average pub food. Wings are awesome. Bartenders are always good. Atmosphere is good. Pretty clean. Great drink prices and food prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this place for good food, drinks and a good time. They have a pretty good lunch special too. Revised: Visited again for 2nd time this month. Enjoyed myself again. Great service and really good food. Great atmosphere. Drinks are always good and good pour. Not watered down. Clean bar. I had the $10 Saturday dinner special and pick and peel shrimp with beer and two drinks. Everything good. Haven't sat at table in while so can't comment. John and Stacey were great bartenders. Not sure what's up with other reviews but I like it. I drive 3 miles to get here and the Victor pub is outside my door and I past the "Pub" to get here. Highly recommend.

Me and my mom both went there and had the food the chicken alone was good, and they also have great scenery and the location of it is also well

I stopped by the 45th Street Pub on night because it was raining so bad I had to pull in to get out of the rain. Well, am I so glad I did. The waitress that I had, Jess, was so welcoming and helpful with the menu. I felt so at home from the minute I walked in the door. And the food was so great. I recommend this place for anyone. Families. Single people and groups. The chef takes pride in his food prep and even the owner, Jerry, introduced himself to me last night. He was so friendly. I am making the 45th Street Pub a regular place to go from now on. Deana

Great fresh crabs in assorted seasonings. Cajun, Garlic, Old Bay and Steamed

I went last night for the first time after hearing mixed reviews about this pub/restaurant from Friends who come here. We ordered the Snow Crab legs for $37pp. It was all you can eat in garlic, cajun, old bay or steamed. We tried all of them but really liked the garlic butter, although I had to throw in traditional so the garlic wasn't too overwhelming. The crabs tasted really fresh which I loved and the crabmeat came out of the shell easily. When they're pre-frozen or old they always break or stick to the shell Free refills on soda! The crowd was mixed. Music changed as Clientele changed. There was also the NBA games on which created alot of bar activity Our waitress really made the night for us, she was on top of everything from clearing our dishes, to already placing our repeat orders and re-filling drinks napkins and wipes. I know they add the 18% gratuity to the check automatically for the seafood specials but I added another $10 to the tip. It was real crowded but she took care of us as if we were her only table! It took us 4hrs to eat because my husband is so slow eating crabs!! And we saw alot of family and friends I would definately come again!

Cheese Steak Nachos with Salsa and Sour Cream

Anxious to get here for at least a month. This is one of my favorite places to go chill, good service, music is good, and overall just a chilled place to be. I ordered a Bahama Bay Breeze for only $6. It was soooooooo YUMFUL! It had coconut rum, pineapple and cranberry juice. Now for the peace de la resistance, the garlic Parmesan wings and hot honey garlic wings. They were fantastic! Crisp on the outside and tender and juicy inside. Cheese steak nachos were filled with steak hot peppers cheese and fried onions and of course a side of salsa and sour cream. We ate them so quickly that the waitress said I was only gone for 2 mins. Then I bit into those mammoth onion rings with the horse radish sauce. Let's just say the sleep monster almost got me. I love this food and place. It is cozy but at night it isn't for young children. They also have a cut off and will turn you around the same way that you walked in, should you have kids with you when it is late. If you are hanging out and want crabs they have all you can eat snow crab legs they are so yummy. I haven't had this summer but it is on my hit list.

Our waitress was very friendly and ended up leaving a pitcher of water once she saw we were parched. The salad bar wasn't huge, but there were some cold dishes along with salad fixings, which is part of the vintage charm. The bread (not complementary) was also a huge round loaf great for sharing. The decor's medieval vibe is very charming and it's nice looking around the room. The kitchen is open to the dining room with big brick ovens. I had the prime rib which was big and juicy (the baked potato was fine but the Yorkshire puff was bland and barely editable soaked in juice - may just be I don't like this food). The steak came with a giant onion ring which was delightful, and it was cooked perfectly tender. This place thrives in your meat and potato staples, so not a lot of side options except what's at the salad bar. For dessert, we had to try the peach melba delight, which was a giant goblet of vanilla ice cream, peaches in juice, whipped cream, and a cherry on top. Deceptively simple but extremely tasty and great to share There's a large bar area and the bathrooms are nice. This place is great for larger groups that include older people. The food is good and the atmosphere did feel like it was from another time, but we had a good time, and it's nice to see a place like this still around.

It sounds like something invented at 2 a.m. after several other beers, but damn if it wasn't fantastic. Then came the fish and chips. I spent a semester in London when I was in college, so I've eaten my share of fish and chips. Some great. Some served by angry British people who clearly wanted me to go back to America. The Pour House version was top-notch. Crispy batter. Great fish. Not greasy. The kind of meal where you stop talking for a few minutes because you're busy eating. The place itself has that comfortable neighborhood bar feel. Nothing complicated. Good beer. Good food. A place you can walk into and settle in for a while. The Pour House is officially going into our normal rotation. And with the number of beers on tap, I figure I have a lot of research left to do.

That was enough to get me in the door. When you first walk in, it looks like a neighborhood pub with a small bar and dining area. What I didn't realize was that there's an entire outdoor space hidden in the back! It's a huge patio with artificial grass, large screen TVs, plenty of seating, and a fun atmosphere for hanging out. They even have a large Kensington Pub display and, my favorite part, the front section of an actual Philadelphia trolley that you can climb into. It was such a cool touch and a great piece of Philly history. Their outdoor bathrooms were so clean and smells so good. This would be a fantastic place to watch a game. Thankfully, it wasn't crowded when we visited, so we were able to enjoy everything. Our server, Desiree, was friendly and attentive. The drinks were a mixed bag. I ordered a light Mike's Hard tea which tasted light!  My daughter started with a lemon drop martini, but it was very watered down, so she sent it back. She ordered a different blue cocktail instead and liked that one much better. I ordered the personal taco pizza. It was the perfect size, and the crust was good, but it didn't really taste like a taco pizza. I've had taco pizza that were packed with bold taco flavor, and this one was a little under seasoned for my taste. The meat was tender, though, and I ended up taking the leftovers home and adding a little extra seasoning. My daughter ordered the taco salad, which was good and served in a large crispy tortilla bowl. Like the pizza, it just didn't quite have that classic taco flavor we were expecting. The atmosphere is what really makes this place stand out. Despite Kensington's reputation, this pub is a hidden gem. Parking can be a little challenging since it's in a residential area, but if you're nearby, it's definitely worth stopping in. I'll absolutely be back to try more of the menu, especially since my daughter lives so close.

Those concerns were quickly put to rest. The couple behind us even asked to take a picture with Jennifer. This place is great. I think most of the action happens out back in "The Zoo," and it's an awesome outdoor space with something for everyone. Whether you're looking to grab a drink, hang out with friends, or just enjoy the atmosphere, Kensington Pub delivers. The cheesesteak is only $11 and comes with a pickle. You know I love that. Looking at the pictures, the cheesesteak may not have been the star of the Kensington Pub show, but it definitely held its own. The roll had a ton of flavor and was one of the highlights. The cheese was tucked underneath the meat, but it was perfectly melted and there was plenty of it. The onions could have used a little more time on the grill, but they still added good flavor. The meat was solid, and together it made for a very enjoyable cheesesteak. Kensington Pub gave us a fun atmosphere, a warm welcome for Jennifer, and a cheesesteak worth eating. That's a pretty good day in The Cheesesteak Life.
