This place is one of my go to places to go with coworkers after a rough week! We love coming here, ordering some wings, sitting in a booth and just yapping away. I specifically love ordering the buffalo garlic wings and their fries, it is a great comfort food for me. The service is always great and everyone that works there is super nice and helpful. Good food, good service, cold beers! Stopped here while passing through on a Saturday. Lots of TVs for college football. The bartender was friendly and you could really see she had a good relationship with all of the regulars. Wings were meaty and very good sauce. Onion rings weren't too greasy which we really liked. I have been here a few times because this is a favorite go to spot for some of my cousins. The wings here are really good; I remember when I was pregnant a few years back, their wings is all I wanted. The food overall is good; another fave are the cheesesteak rolls.. Solid spot. A lot of appetizers choices but no real entrees. We ordered a sampler, pick n Peel shrimp with garlic butter and old bay, cheesesteak nachos and a voodoo bucket. The sample was really good came with cheesesteak roll,onion rings,provolone sticks, mac and cheese balls and chicken fritters(tenders) and an assortment of dipping sauces. The shrimp were really good and flavorful. Nachos were good but a lil spicy so if you don't like spice ask for them without the red peppers. The drink was solid. It what it's suppose to be. A pub with pub food. Nothing special but food is above average pub food. Wings are awesome. Bartenders are always good. Atmosphere is good. Pretty clean. Great drink prices and food prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this place for good food, drinks and a good time. They have a pretty good lunch special too. Revised: Visited again for 2nd time this month. Enjoyed myself again. Great service and really good food. Great atmosphere. Drinks are always good and good pour. Not watered down. Clean bar. I went last night for the first time after hearing mixed reviews about this pub/restaurant from Friends who come here. We ordered the Snow Crab legs for $37pp. It was all you can eat in garlic, cajun, old bay or steamed. We tried all of them but really liked the garlic butter, although I had to throw in traditional so the garlic wasn't too overwhelming. The crabs tasted really fresh which I loved and the crabmeat came out of the shell easily. When they're pre-frozen or old they always break or stick to the shell Free refills on soda! The crowd was mixed. Music changed as Clientele changed. There was also the NBA games on which created alot of bar activity Our waitress really made the night for us, she was on top of everything from clearing our dishes, to already placing our repeat orders and re-filling drinks napkins and wipes. I know they add the 18% gratuity to the check automatically for the seafood specials but I added another $10 to the tip. It was real crowded but she took care of us as if we were her only table! It took us 4hrs to eat because my husband is so slow eating crabs!! And we saw alot of family and friends I would definately come again! read more

Anxious to get here for at least a month. This is one of my favorite places to go chill, good service, music is good, and overall just a chilled place to be. I ordered a Bahama Bay Breeze for only $6. It was soooooooo YUMFUL! It had coconut rum, pineapple and cranberry juice. Now for the peace de la resistance, the garlic Parmesan wings and hot honey garlic wings. They were fantastic! Crisp on the outside and tender and juicy inside. Cheese steak nachos were filled with steak hot peppers cheese and fried onions and of course a side of salsa and sour cream. We ate them so quickly that the waitress said I was only gone for 2 mins. Then I bit into those mammoth onion rings with the horse radish sauce. Let's just say the sleep monster almost got me. I love this food and place. It is cozy but at night it isn't for young children. They also have a cut off and will turn you around the same way that you walked in, should you have kids with you when it is late. If you are hanging out and want crabs they have all you can eat snow crab legs they are so yummy. I haven't had this summer but it is on my hit list. read more

I drove 550 miles to enjoy a night out with and family and the Manager on Duty personally ruined what could have become a traditional stop when I come home to visit! We ordered a round of Lemon drop shots for 7 people, and they were nice size shots with lemon vodka, and lemons...but instead of sugar, the sent out a plate of Salt...we didn't know until we took the shots and went to suck the lemons!...we told the waitress and she told the manager and she refused to replace the shots. So we asked to speak to the manager directly and she sat in our face having a conversation and never came to speak with us. After requesting her to come over several times she sent over 7 watered-down small well vodka shots...and again she never came over and addressed the paying customers. She said she was in a meeting...but again just enjoying her evening as you can see from the pictures. We will relocate our gatherings to PJ Whelans because at least the customer matters! Customer service is important and for a $300 potential tab...we should be respected and at least get an apology...she never even apologized! If I could give zero stars I would. 90% of our party was in the service industry and totally understanding during these tough times. However when it take an hour and a half to get beers there is a problem. We were seated for close to an hour before our very inattentive server took our food and drink order and then another 30 minutes for our drinks to come out. She blamed the slow service on their bartender but I highly doubt that. The waitress sent the manager out who informed us that our order was put in roughly an hour after we sat. My lunch group has been here several times and we always got one of the many lunch specials. Their Irish potato soup is amazing. I once got chicken wing soup which was also special, but rarely offered. Burgers are generally excellent and come with a large plate of crispy fries, all for around $10. Beer selection is excellent and inexpensive compared to other places. Can't say about the dinner crowd, seems to be problems with the wait staff. read more

I been coming here little over 3 years. Ordered the same thing nothing else. "Boneless wings cambo sweet chili flavor". not once i had a bad experience until last night. The waitress Alicia not only made one mistake but 3 mistakes in a row. 1st mistake - wrote down our food orders...15min past. Realized she never put in the actual order to the cook. Now, mistakes happen and she made up for it by given me 2nd round of beer on the house. 2nd Mistake- Food finally came and they're not boneless. I specifically said Boneless. She took it back and i had to wait another 15min for my food. 3rd mistake- Boneless wings finally came, except its Buffalo favor. Alica insisted that the cook telling her its sweet chili. Now I been coming to this specific pub for years just for this specific wings because this pub is the only one that cooks it the way i like it. So i kept telling her its not sweet chili, that this is buffalo. Not only im starving but now im frustrating at the fact the staff doesnt even know the difference in their food. That was strike 3. In addiction to this situation, Alica said she spoke with her manager/cook about this situation but yet I saw her just walking back and forth to her register. Either she was lying so she doesnt get in trouble or the manager/cook just dont care and dont want to make up for it. In the end, All I had was a cold beer and a appetizer to fill my stomach. Food was okay but over priced. And I always question a place where the menu is so scattered: you can't specialize in seafood, bbq, tacos, and pizza equally. Then the service was awful. We had six people for dinner and another two who joined for drinks. Nobody was given silverware and we had to ask for basics like napkins for us and drinks for our joiners. After three points of service (1- drinks, 2- food served/drinks for two people who joined, 3- can we have some napkins please?) we were left alone for an hour. Then we flagged down our server to ask for another round of drinks. By the time the second round of drinks was delivered, we were ready for our check, but our server disappeared after bringing the last round. We finished our drinks for another half an hour and decided to go back into the bar to get our bill. Bar staff were none too worried about getting the bill to us. "She's on her way," they said, and we waited another 20 minutes. We looked around for another 15. And finally we said, "Eff it, I bet if we walk out, we'll finally get the tab." We were in the car when...lo and behold: our server, another woman, and an extra from the Sopranos appeared! (Thanks for coming, you guys! Wish you'd have been around when we needed silverware!) The team detained us in the parking lot, making it look like we were hoodlums who tried to walk out on our tab (which admittedly was the point we wanted to make to the staff, because we had asked to pay like an hour before). They said that our server had been busy splitting our check, which nobody asked her to do. They gave us the separate bills and STILL charged some of us wrong amounts. My fiancé is currently fuming that he was not only over-charged, but that they put the charge through twice. As a consolation, we are invited to come in tomorrow morning (Saturday, 9 am) to sort it out. What a FUN way to end a Friday night and start the weekend! In short, I would adamantly not recommend this place. At first, I just thought it was just a little trashy, but I now consider it at best: disorganized and unconcerned with visitor experience; at worst: pretty shady and generally an awful experience. I stand by my last review with a bump up. Last time I was here it was busy and my waitress came off like she was overwhelmed, new or high all at the same time. Nonetheless she was a sweetheart. I have been to 45th more times than I can count. The food is ALWAYS good, ALWAYS taste fresh, usually quick and the service is normally decent, minus my last so/so experience. I don't personally get the bad reviews. The drinks are always spot on as well, irish trash cans are my go to here, not many bars leave the red bull can in the drink like 45th so it's appreciated on my end. The place is not too pricey either and patrons are typically a diverse, friendly bunch. 45th is one of my favorite spots to just hang out, chill, eat and drink. Cool establishment. read more

I ordered food for takeout, and when I arrived I was informed that the wrong customer took our food. I was not offered new food - my only option was to wait for the customer to return with my food. *MAJOR FOOD SAFETY ISSUE* As I was waiting for the customer to come back with my food, the staff effectively hid in the back as to not have to interact with me.
