Apparently it is the house band. And the owner is a singer. My husband got the filet mignon and I got the braised short ribs. We also got the chocolate cake and the carrot cake. The appetizer we ordered was the brussels sprouts. The food was exceptional! Everything tasted so fresh and was perfectly done. The portion sizes for the main course was perfect, the appetizers are very large, so you can definitely share them, And the dessert was huge. Now getting to the band and the atmosphere. The atmosphere feels like family and is so warm and welcoming. And the band was absolutely phenomenal! They did not have a set list and took requests so literally everything that they played was given to them by the audience. The band also has a steel guitar player who is in the steel guitar Hall of Fame! He was SO EPIC!! If you're looking for dinner and a show in a super fun place with exceptional food, look no further!! Our bartender was very nice and she explained Patent 139 brews in small batches and features beer from local breweries. My husband ordered a Neon Blaster Blonde and buffalo cauliflower. The server didn't say that they were out of carne asada, but I read between the lines and opted for ground beef cause really the queso is what makes the nachos. Instead of queso, they were covered with shredded cheese. Nothing was mentioned about being out of queso. I notice there was none. When I asked about it, the server casually said, "Oh yeah, we're out of queso too." Wait...what? So the restaurant was out of both the carne asada and the queso. The two main ingredients that made me order the dish in the first place. No one cared to mentioned either of those things when taking my order OR when coming back and asking if I wanted a different meat didn't also mention they were out of queso. Had I known, I would have ordered something completely different from the start. To the server's credit, she did let me order something else. Sucks for the kitchen because they were already closed. I ended up getting the sliders, but they were just as underwhelming as everything else. The food overall tasted like frozen products that had simply been reheated. Nothing tasted fresh, especially considering the prices. The biggest issue wasn't just the mediocre food, it was the lack of communication and straight lie when placing my food in front of me. If items are unavailable, tell customers before they order or at least when placing their food down, not after they've waited half an hour and not saying anything at all. Between the disappointing service, poor communication, and unforgettable food for all the wrong reasons, this place completely lost my trust.
