Each TV in the bar has the teams attached to it. And then each table has a map with the giant TV wall behind the bar, so you can see which TV is playing which game. As someone who cares a lot about this, it was a highlight of my visit. - their beer prices can't be beat - our server was great and super attentive, even when a huge rush hit, she always had us taken care of Not necessarily bad, just not the highlights: - on the final weekend of regular season NFL, with multiple playoff implications games being aired, they stuck with the Cardinals sound, despite the restaurant being filled with tons of Bears and Broncos fans. I would have taken the sound to literally any other game, rather than the Cards. I get it's the home team, but it was a throwaway game and other games were critical, and the fan bases were there. - the food wasn't great. The mozzarella sticks could have been really good, but two of the four were dripping in grease and we couldn't really eat them. The other two were delicious.

Hubby wanted to have dinner here last night. We had a female server. She seemed irritated…read more Hubby got his usual beer & I got the Desert Peach. Like always the beer was ice cold. My drink was good, but this time it was heavier on the lemonade & not the cranberry juice. We always order the pretzel bites & queso. This time the cheese sauce was a bit spicy. We kept waiting for them to come out, but we didn't have them when our meals came. Our server didn't put them in. We had her put them in anyway. They also had a lot of table salt on them this time. Hubby got the traditional wings with blue cheese dressing. I got the fish sandwich and onion rings. I really wanted a fish sandwich. Theirs comes with jalapeño tater sauce. I don't like the taste of jalapeño & I don't like spice. I ordered mine with Mayo & pickles. Hubby liked his wings. I took one bite & spit it out because the fat wasn't rendered. The blue cheese dressing was good & had crumbled blue cheese on top. My fish sandwich was okay. It was a bit over cooked & greasy. The onion rings were okay. Service was super slow as we waited awhile for to go boxes & then again for the check. We will take a break from here for a little while. That's my biggest problem with restaurants; no consistency!

"Move over, coffee. Today is a job for champagne."…read more Oh yeah, we brunchin'! A bunch of us from my spin class decided to get together for a farewell brunch for one of the gals in my Cycle class. She's a snow bird, coming to Arizona for the cooler months, and was headed home for the summer. I ordered the Bloody Goode Time ($14), shared the Porch Teatime ($45) with the table, and I ordered the Porch's Famous Mac + Cheese ($12, cavatappi pasta, four-cheese blend, with toasted parmesan bread crumbs). I had their Bloody Goode Time at their DT Gilbert location and enjoyed it so much that I got it again. It's a super savory drink that feels like a meal in itself. The Porch Teatime, we had green tea shots instead of Jamesame orange, came in a tiny teapot the server poured out into six tiny tea cups. It was adorable. As for the Porch's Famous Mac + Cheese, it was good! The portion size is just right with no leftovers in sight. Never a bad experience at The Porch!

The Porch delivered exactly what a great neighborhood restaurant should: good food, a comfortable…read morepatio, and an atmosphere that made it easy to settle in and enjoy the evening. We were part of a large group, and the experience never felt chaotic or overlooked. The standout was our server, Kate. She brought a positive energy to the table from the start, was attentive without hovering, and managed a large party with professionalism and genuine warmth. It's easy to recognize when someone takes pride in their work, and Kate clearly does. What earned this review, however, happened after we left. About thirty minutes later, we realized we had accidentally left behind several valuable items, including some with significant sentimental value. When we returned, Kate had already secured them and was waiting to return them to us. Her honesty, initiative, and attention to detail turned what could have been a stressful situation into a lasting impression. Restaurants are remembered for more than their food. Kate's service is the reason we'll be back.

DO NOT skip this place just because it's in a hidden location. I set up a surprise 40th birthday…read moreparty for my husband and planning with the manager, Jordan, was a breeze. He was so accommodating and had everything we needed to make the night perfect. We were able to decorate the reserved space and Jordan made sure he had enough staff for our party of 80. Do you want incredible service? See Abby or Casey. These two sweethearts put other servers to shame with their efficiency and ability to handle a crowd. As for the food, kids meals are $9 and include a drink and fries. Everything is hot and the sauces they offer are good too. For the adults, order the carne asada fries. As soon as someone samples the fries, they order their own! Bring the whole fam and sit outside on the huge patio or at the bar inside where you won't miss a second of any game on the tvs.

Solid sports bar…read more Beers on tap, a grill, and plenty of flat screens showing MLB Playoffs (DET vs. SEA), WNBA Finals, a USMNT friendly, and college football. They have beers on Tap, and I went with the Dutchman's Gold, a local beer that says it gives a taste of Arizona's past with every sip, really refreshing lager...especially after the long week and drive from El Paso. Liz enjoyed her watermelon Margie. This is a Pepsi product place She ordered a carne asada loaded fries for an app. Honestly, this was good and was so much, I shouldn't have ordered more. I did though...I went with the Diablo Smash with sweet potato fries. The smash burger was a single patty burger with bacon and a lot of Diablo sauce on it. It could have been a bit more on the smash and less on the diablo. If I were to do it again, I would pick the classic smash or the ribeye sliders. Alexis was a good server. She checked on us and made sure we didn't need for anything. She was very nice. Annnd they have a military discount of 10%. It was close to our hotel, and we didn't have to walk very far. Good sports bar.
