If I would've known yesterday was National Pizza Day I just might've grabbed a slice from here. We walked in just to order some mozzarella sticks because he blamed me for eating his cheese bites (smh). The woman taking our order was okay, not too talkative after she found out that's all we wanted. The mozzarella sticks are just frozen to fried, not homemade here and their "marinara sauce" was simply a good spaghetti sauce. But, marinara has more of a tomato paste and less of the tomato sauce. There were a few slices of pizza and a few garlic knots in the warmer that didn't grab my attention, but we already had food so that wasn't the mission. The crust was cooked perfectly throughout the dough with golden crusts on top and just enough crunch on the bottom. The ingredients tasted fresh and toppings appropriate. The pizza is made after ordering. This did not take very long and was hot. The sub was equally great. Bread was toasted. Sub was filled with plenty of meats and toppings. Portion sizes are on the larger side. My youngest is a picky eater and never finishes his food but he had no problem eating his half of the sandwich. Inside was clean. Restroom was clean. We came into town for an event for our family, we decided to try out 484 New York Pizza. The pizza was not good, the wings were burnt black with no sauce, their calzone had almost no ricotta cheese in it. We ordered food Saturday night, I had spoke with the manager on duty Sunday, i couldn't speak to them Saturday night because they were closed by the time we got the food to the hotel and tried it, only 10 minutes from the pizza shop. The Manager on duty Sunday was very polite and wanted to make sure we were satisfied, then I spoke to another manager that told me I would have to wait until Tuesday to speak to the owner Karem, the owner wasn't even wanting to hear it out and says our food is the best maybe you want some other crap food but not me ( her exact words), tells me I needed to bring the food back in to get a refund. They never told me that in any other conversation. We spent $160 to feed the family and the owners response was you should have ordered just a slice to see if you liked it then see if you wanted to feed your family from here????? Really I've never heard of anyone doing things like this, she's very unprofessional and doesn't care for her customer satisfaction she only wants your money no matter how bad their food was. Never been here walked in the place is kinda small opted to order a gyro & a beer. Friendly counter staff. While the prepared it opted to use my DBPR app stands for department of businesses & professional regulation its something that I do first visit & then occasionally. Latest inspection was 6/21 other than one high priority which involved possible cross contamination they were fine all corrected same day. Well gyro was served folks 4 tiny strips of meat yet very tasty but way over priced. I'll return for pizza one day. Also they have a JUMBO pizza judging by the box by far the largest I've seen to date. This is my experience & my opinion. Not a place for gyros. read more
