we've been going to 4D Vision for about 6 months now and have nothing but amazing feedback to share. The clinicians are incredibly kind, compassionate, supportive and every.single.one of them are not only highly competent in teaching the exercises, but they also explain the "why" behind it all. they speak so kindly and lovingly to my child and are just really encouraging through it all. Dr Collier is one of the best around and I fully trust my child being under her care. Gem and Jess are just amazing and Venita, too!! Highly, highly recommend. Hands down. I have seen 4D for many years now in the Cheshire office and in the Cromwell office. I had a lazy eye as a child and as an adult when my close up vision started getting worse no eye Doctors seemed to be able to come up with a pair of glasses which would allow me to differenciate 6s and 9s. I actually saw some very well reviewed and well respected eye Doctors. One told me I needed to just accept that I was old (I was maybe 45) and my vision would never be good. DR Collier sees me once or twice a year and I can do accounting and see wonderfully near and far. My daughter also had some issues and went for the eye exercises for a few years. She did wonderfully with it and no longer needs it. They also did a great job with my niece and nephew. read more

Almost impossible to get a phone call back from them after we handed over $1500. Waiting 4 days and still counting. No one ever answers the phone, we just leave messages. Our appointment was very rushed it seems like they just wanted us in and out of there as soon as humanly possible. I regret not going to a different center. We are trying to make appointments to do Eye therapy in person instead of the at home exercises they were promoting. I have been a patient for many years. I have had glasses prescribed with many changes. After working extra hard and doing the Build to Soar Program I am finally back to being able to wear one pair of glasses. I have not been able to wear progressive lenses since 2019. The Build to Soar Training helped strengthen my eyes. Improved convergence and divergence. I can once again read a book for fun without headaches and eye fatigue. The quality of care is always exceptional. Dr. Collier truly cares about her patients and wants to help make life easier through vision therapy. Coach Jess has been my vision coach for as long as I can remember. We have worked together remotely, in person, and through Build to Soar. Her encouragement and enthusiasm helped me want to continue even when frustrated to achieve my goals. I always get a response from the office staff. I'm contacted if I had a question, had to reschedule, or if I needed equipment. I highly recommend this practice. As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist I have seen so many students with visual perceptual issues. I have zero hesitation referring my students to 4D Vision. Once again I could not be happier. I have been to other places and have not been as pleased as I am today with all of the staff from the office staff, to the coaches, and of course to Dr Collier. Just received bill from 9 months ago Been trying to get a hold of someone in billing because they charged me for contact lenses fitting for my daughter. In my experience, at the Cromwell location of 4D vision gym, I have gained back an outstanding level of my vision after a head injury caused several ocular injuries; nearly every area of vision damage has been treated. I have had three evaluations with Dr. Collier and she can speak quickly but she listens and has the mind of a proper medical professional; thorough, direct, kind and honest. Anyone that suffers with vision issues, from injury or from birth, needing a specialized and unique program should consider that it should not be cheap and that it will take time and determination. Yes, it is pricey but if you want to get high quality care that is catered to your specific needs, or your child's, it makes sense, don't you think? Just as any other business, they have to make a profit by doing their jobs and using materials is how they are able to do their jobs as efficiently as possible. Helping their vision students to the best of their ability while in the facility and while at home is the same as a student learning a musical instrument and getting lessons with assignments to better their skills. I won't lie, it took quite some time but it was beyond worth it to be able to drive comfortably and tolerate the lights in my apartment (as well as light therapy). Its wild how our vision is connected to our hearing. It wasn't until my vision program was in full effect that I was able to start listening to music other than frequency at extremely low levels. I have only had a wonderful experience with the 4D Vision team. The staff is warm, welcoming, understanding, kind, silly and they love the color purple which is a known fact to be a very strong quality in people that are determined to help others. I have taken some time to look at other reviews on this search engine and honestly, it's hard to believe how some people have given such negative reviews. I hope that my experience will negate those negative reviews left by others that have had less than what seem to be money related experiences. I have also never had any issues getting in contact with the staff and I have always appreciated how they will reach out via email. Overall, I would not avoid the opportunity and quality of care these wonderful people are able to give when it comes to human visual injuries, in my personal opinion based on my experience. 4D Vision Gym has changed my sons life forever for the better. Liam worked hard for well over a year and the results are fantastic! Prior to a recommendation I never knew or heard of the types of vision deficiencies that he was experiencing. Liam had a convergence weakness and his eye muscles were causing him to have blurry and double vision. He struggled in school and we had no idea because he was not a good communicator.  Long story short, he was tested this year for Autism Spectrum Disorder and was receiving Special Ed Services at his school. I truly believe that due to the dedicated work of 4D Vision gym Liam not only conquered his eye issues, he was not found to be on the spectrum and just this week dismissed from Special Education Services! Praise God! In him all things are possible and we know that he had his hand on directing us to 4D Vision Gym!  Thank you all for your hard work and dedication to our little guy. We were referred for visual therapy after my brother's concussion. They did an evaluation that was pretty useless...it didn't give us any new information and just allowed them to rack up charges. They seemed more interested in selling their "exercise equipment" than actually helping my brother. We did not schedule any follow-up visits after purchasing the equipment because their therapists had no added value. It was a total waste of time and money. Definitely do not recommend. read more

Do not trust these people! Dr. Collier's initial "assessment" of my child was fraudulently documented to fit her more than 10 diagnoses for him. For example, he would affirm to being able to see the object peripherally, however, she would indicate "He can't really see that." That was the one and only time he was "assessed" by Dr. Collier, however we were billed multiple times for further "exams and assessments". My credit card was charged for all office visits, "exams, assessments", materials, and monthly fees AND these claims were submitted to the insurance company 6 months later! Submitting these claims to the insurance company so late and after I had already reached my $4000 deductible with other health providers, resulted in none of these payments being counted towards my deductible! So, she received DOUBLE payments by charging my credit card AND receiving insurance compensation. I communicated with them in depth & at length for approximately six months about this and it was never rectified. read more

This place is an absolute scam. After thousands of dollars and a lot of time wasted, there is absolutely no result. A $250 materials fee resulted in a pile of copy paper. My daughter has been attending the 4D Vision Gym for a few months now with Melissa as her vision therapist, and it's amazing what she has accomplished. Her reading standardized test scores have gone from the 50th to 91st percentile and she is killing it on the soccer field! I truly credit vision therapy for such huge improvement. I'm so glad we were referred to the 4D Vision Gym. It's top notch therapy for kids. My daughter was a reluctant reader and now really enojoys it! read more

This is the worst place possible to go to!!! I once had to wait for an hour for an appointment and then they told us they couldn't see us because all of a sudden they got busy and didn't have an opening! Plus I wore glasses for a year that weren't the right perception ! I said from the beginning they weren't right however they claimed I need to get used to them. I still didn't see clearly but I never got it checked out till now which my new doctor confirmed something was not right! Please save your money and don't come here! There Receptionists were also the rudest ladies! In addition at the end of my appointment they also tried to get me to go to therapy which my insurance couldn't cover and I DIDN't NEED IT. My new doctor said that I was right to not have wasted all that money for a not even a minimum better result! read more

Please be aware that this entity is more about making money and not about your sight. They took money, never saw me after and has refused to refund the funds and failed to call back as promised . In my family's opinion and that of a top Pediatric Opthamologist, this place is not a place you should go to. They made inaccurate assessments of my child that would have required glasses, however her eye exam was totally within normal limits for her age (done under dilation by her pediatric MD which they did not use and you should never even say a suspected diagnosis of vision in a child without dilating). I have a friend who went through the same thing, 4D prescribed glasses even though two other pediatric opthamologists said her daughter's vision was normal. We thought we were going for a therapy assessment and were met with an in appropriate eye exam even though we have an opthamologist. Furthermore, our opthamologist has told us some awful stories about this particular place. We canceled our follow up and they didn't ask any questions. I suspect because they realized we caught on. We are involved in many therapies, alternative and otherwise with our child, but I have zero faith in this organization. Be wise and do not take a prescription for glasses or otherwise without getting a second opinion. read more
