I even pointed out directly that his behavior felt rude, hoping it might change the interaction, but there was no apology, no softening, and no effort to engage. I left without browsing further. I first went with her after I got proposed to already with my great-grandma's wedding ring (which I did not expect nor expected to receive my great-grandma's ring). As seen in pictures, it is 3 tiered and missing some diamonds. It also needed to be resized. I took in her ring with the vision of using it as my "wedding band" even though it is my engagement ring. He was able to reorganize the diamonds into a single row/band and add more gold to make the band thicker. I was stunned at how beautiful it came out, he truly brought my vision to life and I still get to wear my great grandma's ring. I am currently looking to still get my wedding ring here, which I wanted originally to have it custom made with a teal blue sapphire, gold band a small lab diamond (which he said he can order) on each side of the stone. He has a great selection of sapphires to chose from and I found the perfect oval teal sapphire! Recently, my grandma gave me some of her old jewelry which was a gold ring with a black onyx stone and two small diamonds. I brought it in to Ray to see if I could possibly use those diamonds instead of ordering lab diamonds which he said he could! He even offered to melt my grandmas ring to use the gold AND the diamonds on it! So all I am really going to be paying for is the sapphire stone and for his work.
