It's a smaller store, but the lady working there that day was extremely friendly and helpful. She pointed out a few items, answered all of my questions, and was genuinely a pleasant person to talk to. The shop is well-kept, organized, and has a very nice selection of items. Of course, the price range varies depending on what you're looking for, but there seemed to be something for a variety of budgets. Like I said, I didn't find what I was looking for this time, but that doesn't mean you won't. If you're in the area, I would definitely recommend stopping by and taking a look. You never know--you might find exactly what you're looking for. Again, sorry I didn't take any photos, I didn't wanna seem weird or creepy. Plus, I believe there's enough photos.

The pricing was very reasonable, and the quality of his work is outstanding. I'm so happy I trusted him with such a special piece! My husband had a jeweler in downtown LA pre- Covid that he would get my rings dipped. That store closed unfortunately. I went to another jeweler in Glendora and was charged over a $100 to have it done. When I needed it done again after 8 months, I went with Piacere. I met Fabiola (Fabi) and was absolutely impressed by the knowledge and kindness. They took care of my rings at a much lower cost and they looked brand new. Victor goes above and beyond when it comes to your jewelry. He checks prongs and puts the rings thru a rigorous cleaning before he returns them. I was even given the opportunity to look at my rings thru a jewelers loop. They did that just in case i wanted to be sure my gemstone was mine before and after the cleaning. It took only one full day for the rings to be restored to brand new. Since that meeting over 2 years ago, they have been our go to store for all our jewelry needs. Victor does such amazing custom work! Bring him an idea and he will make you a beautiful custom piece. Fabi is constantly taking classes to improve her knowledge of gemstones and jewelry. They take such care and go above and beyond when you're looking for a specific stone or piece. Definitely our jewelers for all our needs.

Their listings mention carrying Citizen watches, so I hoped to browse in person and potentially make a purchase. I arrived around 10:40-10:45 AM, saw the doors wide open, and assumed they were open early (official hours start at 11 AM). I stepped inside politely and asked the gentleman behind the counter if they were open. He responded with a curt "yes," immediately followed by an abrupt and rude "What do you want?" I was surprised and confused I've never been greeted that way when entering a store intending to browse and spend money. His tone, stare, and overall demeanor felt dismissive and unwelcoming from the very first moment. I explained I just wanted to look around for watches, but he remained short and unfriendly throughout. I even pointed out directly that his behavior felt rude, hoping it might change the interaction, but there was no apology, no softening, and no effort to engage. I left without browsing further. There's a basic level of professionalism one expects from a jewelry store especially one dealing in higher-value items like watches where a welcoming, respectful attitude encourages customers to stay and spend. I rarely leave poor reviews (this is one of very few I've ever written), and I understand people can have off days, but this experience was so consistently off-putting that it stood out. A different approach starting with basic courtesy would make a huge difference. I understand security concerns in California, but treating potential customers with respect shouldn't be optional. This left me disappointed, and I won't be returning. Attaching photos of the gentleman and the store for context.

Up…read moreuntil now, the only other times I've done it were for some crappy clothing store in Fullerton and a pizza joint that served me food with hair on it. But this place deserves it. I would give Gold'n Time negative stars if I could. That's why I was so surprised to read other reviews on here calling the man who works at this store "courteous", "helpful", and "friendly". He was pretty much the exact opposite of all of that when I talked to him earlier today. I came to this place to get a watch repaired. It's an old, rare watch with delicate parts inside. It's also a collector's item and not a typical run-of-the-mill watch. I *wanted* to tell the guy working at the store to be extra careful with it. I *wanted* to let him know that I wasn't sure which battery the watch needed and that I had brought a few different kinds I thought would work. I *wanted* to tell him that I suspected some of the parts had been replaced by the previous owner and that they were not the right fit. But I didn't get to say much of anything. Right as I was about to tell him about the batteries, he cut me off mid-sentence without letting me explain what the overall problem even was. He said he "didn't need any explanations". He did so in a very rude manner that's hard for me to describe in mere words. You just had to be there to witness it. He then unceremoniously grabbed my cherished collector's item and began roughly unscrewing the back of it. When he inevitably came to the obvious fact that it was missing a battery, he came back to ask me which battery the watch needed. I told him that if he'd just been a little more patient and listened to me earlier, I would've already answered that question. This only annoyed him further and he became even more rude. (Side note: I came here for much more than just a simple battery replacement.) At this point, I'd had enough and told him to give me back my watch. He did so and told me not to come back to the store. In response, I flipped him off and called him a few colorful names. Needless to say, I will never consider coming back here or giving him my money ever again. How can someone fix something without knowing what the problem is first? Wouldn't it help to know which part of a device needs the most attention before trying to repair it? And why would anyone think that being rude to customers would be good for business? The guy who works here is a complete idiot. I ended up taking my watch to a place at the mall. They fixed it quickly, for very little money, and the service was excellent. Don't come to Gold'n Time in Glendora. This place sucks.
