Yes i know its tough to be a small businewss owner but come on guys. I thought it was a blessing to find this pawn shop to help me when times got rough. I have brought many things there, and was always taken care of. As a paying customer, howwever, I wanted a guitar and was sold a guitar thats was worth 250 online for 500. My fault for not doing my due diligance but i trusted them. I went back in and asked the owner, hey can i just upgrade the guitar to something worth the 500 i paid? He said no but i will loan you 250 on it. Why would i take a 250 loan for something i just paid 500 for? Just by taking a look around the shop, you can see who is really being taken care of here, the tweakers and drug theifs. They even had an industrial welder for sale with thr cables cut off. Eight-Years ago, I was a new customer at their old location ( next to the tattoo shop ) in that small and overly packed little place. Received such good customer service then, remembering that, I returned today to conduct a small transaction. Don't ever expect that even over time your repeat business will be appreciated, as I made that mistake myself today. Wouldn't work with me, and I'll remember that too. What a shame that the move they made to a larger facility, is only aesthetically attractive, but worsened the experience. I used to enjoy browsing the goods while waiting to be helped. Oh well. I truly think they don't even care. Never had this person ever help me before, and yes, I wish my transaction had made it worth the drive, out of my way to bring them my business again, was noticed. WARNING DO NOT PAWN HERE!! I took in my Glock 17 and asked for $250, they gave it to me right away. The pandemic hit so I tried to take it out in May, they told me I can't because the government is not running background checks at the time and advised me to call back in June or July to see if anything changed, my loan was about to expire in July so I called and they said I can come in to pay and do the background paperwork, I went in with what I thought was all the paperwork I needed, they said now I have to have my birth certificate or a real ID cause apparently I'm not considered a US citizen with my regular ID anymore, so I called them once I acquired my birth certificate to let them know I'm coming in the next day because of my work schedule and they told me that they had already sold my fire arm!! They were extremely careless about the whole thing! Didn't even bother to give me a courtesy call! The way they acted from the beginning was as if they are going to try their best to keep it and sell it. I went to another pawn shop and explain the situation to them, they told me that I was done very wrong and that the government was never putting a hold on background checks. I Bought a electric bass there for my nephew. I didn't know much about it. When i got home i plugged it into the amp and the outlet on the bass was loose and had problems with it. They also told me it came with a case but weren't able to find it because it was in another storage and told me to come back later. I went back and they still could not find it. So they asked for my number and later that day they called me saying they couldn't find it so they would buy me a new one... they never did never got a call back. I brought in tools, jewelry, old edition books & games, some antiques, and other figures that aren't sold in stores anymore.
