I love this place. It is always the same workers, and they are really polite. The best thing on the menu is Spicy Crispy Chicken Meal, but if you are on the go, just order Spicy Crispy Chicken snack and a Kiwi Boba. And make sure to get one of those business cards while you are there so that you can get more stamps which total up to a free Boba or Frozen Yogo. I go here about twice a week. The usual, either taro with boba or milk tea with boba. They are pretty consistant in quality and the boba is usally the right texture. It can get a little crowded if you hit it right after the local high school gets out. Parking is good. Prices are fair. They have a drink card where the every 10th drink is free. Their boba is really good and chewy, i'll give them that. They have a variety of flavors too! And they don't just offer drinks but they have side orders of small snacks which i think is neat. I took off one star because i ordered a milk tea with boba and i guess i wasn't expecting the milk tea to taste the way it did. It wasn't terrible although i've had better tasting milk tea's at other boba places. Maybe it was just that flavor because i've gotten their peach mango green tea before and that was really yummy. So i would definitely recommend the slushies and more fruity tea flavors. I think the milk tea was probably pre-made or something because they made it so fast. There aren't many boba places here but out of all the choices, I'd say 5.2 is the place to go. They serve meals and boba so if I'm hungry I always tend to get the teriyaki chicken meal. It comes with two dumplings and salad but I'm not really a salad girl so I really liked that they had an option where you can switch out the salad for two more dumplings. Crispy chicken snack is also good but I would NOT suggest the squid balls. The first and last time I tried them.... they were really mushy and soggy and it just really didn't work for me. Boba is pretty good and the price is reasonable as well. I always get peach mango slushy and its the best when you want a fruity refreshing drink. Their milk tea boba is very good as well. The patbingsoo (shaved ice) on the other hand is not so very good. For the price, it's fairly small and you can get much better shaved ice in Ktown. Unless you really want shaved ice and are stuck in town, I'd say go someplace else. I don't come here TOO often but this is the place I always go to when I want a simple meal and boba. They do have a new minimum limit of 5 dollars in order to use a debit/credit card but I guess that's not too bad. It can get annoying for people like me since I never have cash and if I only want one drink, I would have to buy something else with my boba satisfy the 5 dollar limit. Overall, I give them a 3. I would give them a 4 for their service/food/drinks but I gave a 3 simply because it's so small and whenever I try to eat there with a friend or two, it becomes cramped and with people walking in and out and all the blenders going off, it becomes really loud. I love their Vanilla Latte mocha blast. It's delicious and really sweet. Prices here aren't so bad either ! I usually get a large vanilla latte and if I'm in the mood, I'll buy their Korean bbq plate for take out. I highly recommend you go here when you can to try out their drinks. 5.2 is my boba fix when I'm in the LCR area. I usually never get the milk teas here because I think they're pretty mediocre. I know where I can get really good milk tea, and I'd rather save my money for when I go to one of those places. I like their slushes a lot though. I'm a traditionalist, and I always get a plain strawberry slush with boba. Their boba is pretty average too. It's not amazingly chewy and sweet, but it's not hard and bland either. Their shaved ice is a bummer though. They have everything right except they need to use fresh fruit. I pay almost the same price for shaved ice at other places, and I don't get fruit cocktail, but freshly cut strawberries and kiwis. 5.2 is good, but I wish it was great considering that there aren't very many places like it in the area. read more

Pretty consistent boba. My daughters love coming here after school. They have all the typical boba drinks plus some snack foods: fried chicken, squid balls that come in a paper bag- they give you a wooden skewer stick to eat it with- love this for some reason. And they have kbbq plates and gyoza also. Drinks range around the $3-$5 range depending on size & additions. I would give them 5 stars except the workers always seem to be unsmiling- they're not mean, actually pretty efficient, but not as open as you'd expect in such a place decorated with inspirational quotes. read more

They make the tea a way I order it, with half sweet and no milk. I'm a basic green tea girl. They make a very nice Honey Green tea and the boba is slightly sweet. And nice friendly employees. I don't like milk in my iced tea, so I do wish they had a few more straight tea options and caffeine free options like Chrysanthemum tea. But overall great place! read more

I come here for the boba and sometimes the food. (I like the spicy crispy chicken meal.) I usually get thai iced tea boba and my friend gets milk tea boba, both are very good. I tend not to go for the slush bobas because the boba balls freeze unless you're a really really fast drinker =/ I don't relaly know about the froyo or other foods because.. like I said, I come for boba :D The workers are really nice and I think they know who me & my friend are now cuz we go soooo often. I passed by here, while trying to buy groceries. I decided to grab a boba milk tea, the place is well decorated and the people there are nice. Prices were reasonable for the drinks they have there, but the boba milk tea tasted watery. I couldn't really taste the tea, just water, milk and sugar. The boba was ok.
