The views are stunning but all the window seating was taken. The service was awesome and so friendly. We had the sweetest waitress. We got right in around 6:30-7 with a party of six. We all ordered totally different things - so I'll speak on my food first. I loved the Mahi Mahi and roasted squash. My husband didn't like his cowboy steak and ended up feeling bloated from it later. My daughter ate almost all her spaghetti. Her friend said the pesto pasta had too much sauce and she likes a lot of sauce. The Cesar salad was finished so I assume that was good and my friend didn't finish his trout so didn't seem to love it. I'd come here again but I don't think I could talk my family into it.

We were seated right away and had a table by the window in the back and were able to enjoy gorgeous views for sunset. Service was quick and food was great. Salmon was cooked as requested and it was very well seasoned. Steamed vegetables were delicious. It was busy in the restaurant but not loud at all. Highly recommended if you are passing through Capitol Reef!

Went to dinner in Torrey. Not a ton of options in this town. Food overall was fine. Not necessarily noteworthy but not bad. The salsa tasted fresh, but had no spice. My salad was fine added chicken, that was grilled well. Again nothing wow special. My spouse did really enjoy his steak with sauce. He says was cooked well. Dessert with the pie was good, a little fresh whipped cream would add a nice touch over the canned stuff. Service was good though. Friendly staff. The restaurant is old and could some updating but the views are top notch.

I was there one month ago. Wonderful place. I stayed in that hotel. This restaurant is belong to the "hotel"/motel". 1) Decor is very traditional look and nice 2) waiter, waitress are super nice and helpful 3) One night got steak dinner, one night got spaghetti. Steak dinner is better and the mash potato are so good. Amazing. 4) Very nice ambience and relaxing.

Pork chop (blob of applesauce on top)

One of the worst meals have had in a long time. I had chicken- the thinnest chicken with the skin on and wings attached. It was awful. Spouse had pork chop that had a blop of applesauce on it - looked awful. Pork was chewy. Buns were dry and hard. Plus the meals were pricy- $27 each. Service was good & it was clean. Only saving was I could watch a humming bird. It gets a 2 because of the staff & hummingbird. Otherwise it would be a one.

Amazing hospitality at the Rim Rock Restaurant. We felt welcome from the moment we stepped in the door. Staff was delightful with just the right amount of "checking" on how we were doing. Steaks were delicious and prepared just as we requested providing generous portions. The sunset here is out of this world! If you happen not to be lucky enough to grab a window seat, don't worry...most seats in the lower dining room have a great view. My ONLY suggestion for change is to add better lighting on the window tables. Once the sun goes down, those tables are DARK and the little candle doesn't do the job. I saw several diners using their phone flashlight to read the menu. Overall...100% get in here!

We had a great dinner here with friends on our last night of group travel. I had the trout and seasoned fries. DH had steak with acorn squash. The views were great and the service was perfect.

Rim Rock has a few different restaurants. We had pizza at one of their restaurants and it was delicious. There's tvs, small inside area, a bar/bar seating, and an outside area. The food was delicious but didn't list what is actually on the pizzas. We got a vegetation one that came with policies and mushrooms which we both don't like, that's on us for not asking directly what was on it. The service was friendly and quick! There's not a lot of restaurants in the area, so it was quite busy but didn't affect the service in anyway.

Staying in Bicknell after visiting Capitol Reef National park and needed a place to eat dinner…read more This place had lots of positive reviews so this was our choice. Wow! Reviews didn't lie! It's located in Torrey- you can spot the gravel parking lot with lots of cars in front. In fact we actually didn't see the restaurant because there were 2 rows of cars parked in front-a good sign! The menu was varied- from pizza ( more about that later), steak, salads, sandwiches, trout, mexican food. Good selection of alcoholic drinks, beer and soft drinks and even ice cream floats. The meals came with a choice of salad or soup and choice of baked or mashed potato, fries or vegetables. I ordered the steak sandwich which was strips of steak with grilled vegetables -onions and peppers, cheese and a spread of guacamole. It was served on crusty ciabatta bread. I asked for no added salt on the steak and they graciously accommodated me. It was nicely seasoned and didn't need the extra salt. The meat was nice and tender. Hubby ordered the starter dish taco (2) and it had a large piece of battered fried fish. It was crispy and moist. It could be an entree! I saw other diners order the burger and it was thick and large. Another party ordered the large pizza- let me tell you it was huge-almost big as a lazy susan. It could easily feed four or more. And the price was so reasonable- $23 for the premium pizza and $22 for the others. Looking around, all the meals that came out were generously portioned. No wonder the place was full! In spite of the steady flow of customers, the staff was very friendly and helpful and came by to refill waters. We didn't have to wait too long for the food in spite of the busyness. For those wanting a good meal after a day in the park, come here!

We ordered a medium Hang'em High pizza with Canadian bacon, sausage and pepperoni and it was exceptional. The Tucson tamale was packed with flavor and tasted homemade. My youngest ordered the baked pasta but swapped the marinara for pesto and it came out perfect. Everyone left happy. The service is what really made the meal stand out. Our server was incredible. She never let my Diet Coke get empty. Not once. She was friendly, fast and the kind of person who makes you feel taken care of the entire time. She was the definition of great service. The place has a relaxed Torrey vibe and the pricing was fair for what you get. Hot food, good portions and a team that clearly cares. Guy Fieri has never done me wrong, so we booked a trip over after settling into our hotel for the evening. We decided to order online since we find pizza usually takes a little while to cook. Our estimated pick up was 30 minutes after order. When we stepped in, it wasn't that busy for a Monday April evening, with only two tables occupied. We were greeted by the cashier and told it wasn't quite ready yet. The order ended up taking 40 minutes total. One thing we immediately noticed was that the pricing in store didn't match pricing online. For example, the Bhinda Special Pizza Medium Size we ordered for $17.95 online was $21 in store, and the Garlic Naan was $4.50 online but $5.50 in store. I guess they have some updating to do. Bhinda Special Pizza, Medium ($17.95 online) - The pizza is pretty unique since it doesn't use a traditional pizza dough and instead is on a naan-like base. The edges of the naan are crisp, but the interior portion are unfortunately dry and tough. It's oblong in shape and completely flat, unable to bubble up due to the toppings. The crust is honestly not very good. It's very floppy, dense and tough. While advertised as being a 12" pizza, I measured it at only around 11" by 10". The naan is first spread with a base sauce that gives off a tiny bit of heat, amplified by the fresh jalapenos placed on top. I don't eat too much Indian food so I can't really begin to describe the spice mix or the sauce used in lieu of tomato sauce. The flavors are layered pretty well though. They are quite generous with the toppings, although they don't overload the pizza so it's not soggy at all. There's chicken that's tandoori-style with pink edges, plenty of fatty mozzarella, garlic and ginger to add more flavor, then a variety of different vegetables, including cauliflower, mushrooms, and onion. (2/5) Garlic Naan ($4.50 online) - This is a really thin naan and is very tough in texture. There are crackly and bubbly bits, which look nice but doesn't make the texture any better. The naan is covered with a cilantro garlic mix that's quite sweet. It's about 14 or 15 inches in diameter, so it's probably equivalent to a large pizza in size. There's a bit of a smoky flavor. (2/5) Overall I found the naan from Curry Pizza to be subpar. Unfortunately they use it as a base for the pizza, making it tough and dense. It's a bad sign when I contemplate eating instant ramen over the food I ordered. I would not visit again. Bathrooms - Single unisex room
