My experience with 5 Star Auto Hail Repair was absolutely amazing. They repaired over 400 dings of hail damage on the hood and at least 300 on the roof. I had a horrible experience that led me to the shop, which was that I was scammed and the previous person destroyed the cosmetic appearance of the vehicle, they sanded it down when it didn't even need to be sanded, because it needed only paintless dent repair and not a new paint job, took off all interior door panels, door handles, and most other parts of the the vehicle were taken off and thrown in the back and it wasn't even driveable. None of the hail was repaired, there were multiple dings, and the scammer said they would replace hood and did not (the hood didn't even need replaced, only repaired.) Shawn, the owner at 5 Star has made my car look BRAND NEW. He took it upon himself to tell his team what had happened to me, and made a decision to help me out best financially any way he could. He saved me close to $2,000, he even did an interior deep detail without even being asked because of so much dust in the vehicle from the previous person. He re painted the whole car and the paint job is flawless. There were multiple loose parts broken from the previous person that 5 star had to call around to get replaced; and every single thing was put back in its place. When I saw the vehicle fixed I couldn't believe it was made to look like how I first bought it. This business is worth every penny and then some! 5Star has provided us excellent service from Day 1. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. First, they helped us with BB gun damage from vandalism. It seemed like a fair price and good value. It was also a quick turnaround. Unfortunately, we had to go back to 5Star again after a collision. Samantha was very helpful as well as all the guys in the back. They helped tow our vehicle and then explained every step of the process. We also didn't have to worry about dealing with the insurance because Samantha dealt with all of that for us. We are glad to support a local business and will continue to use 5Star for any future incidents. read more

Tldr: -3 for horrible customer service, continually incorrect updates & aggressive manager, +2 stars for a great repair job Their penchant for miscommunication was awful. On five different occasions I rearranged my schedule to pick up a "repaired" car which turned out to be them mistaking someone else's car for being my own. At one point they gave my car away to an alarm shop to install an alarm that I had not authorized. I was treated poorly by Samantha for informing her of the confusion about giving my car away without my consent. When my car was finally ready I was supposed to bring a check that no one felt the need to tell me about and so left me with no other choice than paying out of pocket for $190 more than my deductible. This last item made me lose my patience. I pulled out my credit card, verified that I needed to pay the whole thing to be done and told them fine, let's get this over with as I just wanted to get out of there and go home to write a review of this fiasco. At that point Sean, the manager came in. He asked what was going on, I gave him a quick rundown of all the things that had happened including the final insult of having to pay an unexpected $190 more despite all my due diligence and that at this point I just wanted to inspect my car, pay, and leave. Sean's response was to get pissed, raise his voice and go off. I was trapped there with Sean yelling at me about how I must be perfect and don't understand mistakes while he also made insinuations about my privilege and the ease with which I must have lived - insulting and false presumptions. Sean's actions of anger and aggression was unwarranted especially considering how patient and understanding I had been throughout the process. The worst part though was that I was all too aware how unsafe of a situation I was in. Sean didn't hear, didn't care, or simply ignored the FOUR times I said that all I wanted to do was pay and leave. Instead, he just kept yelling at me, in front of his staff in the small waiting room. It was terrifying to realize I was trapped. I had a rental car I could no longer keep and my car they had the keys for and he knew where I lived. At a loss, I opened my purse, took out my notebook and pen and asked for his name, which he gave me and then I wrote it down. This seemed to kick him out of his lunacy because he finally agreed to let me pay and leave. I asked to see the work they did on my car but that woman in the office interrupted and said I couldn't inspect it until I've paid. She wanted me to accept and pay for their work, sight unseen. Sean told her no, that he'll show me the car. I inspected the work, found one small part wanting (one of the black runners had a tear in it) he tried to argue that the Geico adjuster, Mike, hadn't put that so they didn't replace that then corrected himself saying he would talk to Mike that Mike probably just made a mistake and all people make mistakes. (A small jab.) Sean then started talking at that point of how he knew about ALL the messed up things that had happened and said they were reviewing their processes to fix these things from happening again. I just smiled and expressed understanding because at that point all I wanted to do was pay, get my car, and leave safely. The next day they called me to come back in as Geico had approved the repair addendum, and they could fix the runner gasket thing. While I sat in the waiting area Sean came by and told me they wanted to return the $190 they had charged my card and to keep the check from Geico for the trouble. I highly recommend you find another shop. This experience was obviously created dur to multiple systemic problems with 5Star that all came to a head in my singular experience and imo no amount of the addressing training and "shop processes" that Sean said they were doing because of my experience, should justify risking a single person being put into a similar situation ever again. Yes, they did great work and gave me $190 back, but it isn't enough to offset the horrible way they chose to treat me and the anxiety they caused. read more

First of all, I just want to say thank you to the girls are in the front and thank you to the mechanics. Samantha was very helpful. My bumper has been messed up for about a year now and I finally got time to take it in. They gave me a great price in my opinion. They did a great job !!! I guess the biggest thing for me was they saw that my front cover was hanging they took the time to pick up the car and fix it for me, but also seen in the process that my two front tires were balding really bad in the inside , they took my left one off and put the spare on for me so I can get to discount tires safely,which they told me if I would've driven just a few more miles with it on it definitely would've had a bad blowout I am very thankful for them looking over the car, fixing my bumper and overall looking out for our safety. I have a few more things I want to get done on my car and I am definitely taking it back here. I highly recommend this company. read more

Great service here! Initially tried going to a dealership for my car trouble but they were telling me that they couldn't see me for a whole week. It was really frustrating and you could tell they didn't care. Thank goodness I found 5Star! Not only was my car able to be seen in a timely manner but he actually got down to finding out exactly what was wrong with my car without spending a bunch of unnecessary money on repairs I didn't need. The did good work at a fair price. My only complaint would be that I attempted to get an update the day after I dropped my vehicle by calling twice. I spoke with the front desk who stated my mechanic would call me back and they did not until two days later when the job was finished. Great work. Polite but unresponsive customer service. read more
