This is the worst experience I've had anywhere. Firstly, to the workers reading this: I will take this further up the ladder and make sure you guys lose your jobs. Actions have consequences. I took my girlfriend there to switch her from AT&T to T-Mobile and wanted to add her to my plan. I asked them multiple times to add one line to the plan, do NOT change anything else. He proceeds to charge me a $20 activation fee and tells me okay you're all set and you also get a FREE line with that. After being told the line will cost $30 I proceed to check my phone to confirm... $120 added to the monthly bill. He added two lines each one being $60. I didn't sign ANYTHING. Then I realized the activation fee was for two lines (one of which he said is free and comes with their promotion that I never asked for). What happens next is the employees throwing the biggest tantrum I've ever seen. I informed them that I recorded the whole conversation from the beginning to which he responds "thats illegal". For his own clarification, no it's not it's called freedom of speech and press. Then as my girlfriend and I are astounded that after we caught them actively scamming us they had the audacity to be rude and tell us that "at this store the customer is not always right". Btw, the employee that said that wasn't even involved at this point. They actively laughed, were unprofessional, and utterly disrespectful. I made sure to say how I felt about what was going on. In addition, when I asked them to cancel EVERYTHING we just did they said "yea we did it will reflect in 24 hours". Of course I didn't believe them and finally they called their customer service team and they had it cancelled effective. In other words, I will be taking further action through their corporate level and court if need be, this was NOT ok. I have all the audio and footage to back my claims up. read more

Where to start...Tahlia, Xen and Gio. Trifecta of the best customer service!! I called to get directions and Gio answered the phone. He was polite and helpful. A very good start. When I arrived Tahlia worked with me on returning my trade-in. She was sweet, helpful and personable. We ended up talking and laughing while she was helping me. Xen came to help and the conversation kept going. Not only did my trade-in get handled, but Tahlia was able to help me synch my Apple Watch to my new phone. No question asked, no problem. What I noticed was that each customer that came into the store was greeted politely and with the willingness to help by all 3. I give this store five stars because of it's amazing customer service. Came to the store to transfer three phone lines that couldn't be transferred over the phone. Was greeted by the store manager Tahlia who was very professional, and had great energy. She asked us how she could help us. I explained my situation, and she kindly told me that someone would be right with me. I was then greeted by Xen who took the time to transfer all three of my phone lines in a timely manner. She was very professional and made our time waiting for the transfers go by smoothly.. Both ladies had positive energy to them and amazing customer service. I try not to say anything at all if I don't have anything nice to say, but this particular T-Mobile location is memorably bad. I had upgraded my device online, and had messaging from corporate instructing me to return the old device in-store. With the old device in-hand, I was prepared to wait a while, confirm the account status, etc. Instead, the agent seemed to decide as soon as I started speaking that she wasn't going to help me. I'm spite of the messaging from corporate, she told me curtly that I would need to contact them for a shipping label. The lack of effort and respect were evident. I left quickly and politely, but with a very bad taste in my mouth. Go to any T-Mobile location but this one! read more

Cliff notes: James is awesome and needs to be promoted to regional manager. Full story: The girlfriend and I wanted to share a plan. We often travel outside the US and need reliable and FAST coverage outside the US. James explained the plan options for us and also helped us take advantage of a "trade in" credit that basically allowed my girlfriend to upgrade her iphone 5 to an iphone 11 for $180.00 total out of pocket. Bargain. But the real impressive part is that James stayed an hour and a half past closing on a Friday night to help us transfer my girlfriends old number over from her previous carrier. Unfortunately the previous carrier had terrible customer support and James patiently waited on hold with them to make the transfer happen. Then the next week...we were back as we had problems getting her old iwatch to sync with the new phone. James knew how to fix it immediately. I've been with Tmobile for over 10 years and part of the reason I stay with them is because of their customer service. They've never let me down. But James went above and beyond and deserves special recognition. You da man James! read more

okay so initially i called this location and the women i spoke to was very kind and informative! we ended up stopping in because my phone had broke and Tristan was amazing, he was nice, understanding and very honest which I and my girlfriend appreciated. He didn't try to upsell but he was very honest about which options were best and how to go about it. We ended up going the insurance route (luckily we had it) and he was very helpful with all the steps. He was also fast and efficient! I wasn't able to speak with all the associates but everyone seemed very sweet and helpful. Christian G, honestly the best service I've ever had at a phone store and a T-Mobile Store in general. Not only did he help answer all my questions, but he also fixed my iPhone 11 Pro. He should definitely get a promotion because I went to three stores and no one was able to figure out why my phone wasn't charging , but he was able to within a minute of giving him the phone! Saturday, 2/6/2021 at 4:30 PM. We stopped in to turn in an old phone and get all of the information transferred to the new S21 we purchased online. There were two customers there when we arrived. We waited no more than 2-3 minutes. We were served by Chris, whose customer service skills are second to none, as is his knowledge of the S7 and S21 Samsung phones. Additionally, Chris was able to answer phone calls and recite inventory (e.g., we are out of that case style in black, we have several of those screen films in stock now.... - impressive and super efficient ! ) In about 30 minutes Chris - resolve that fact that the online agent registered a new phone number to our new phone, which we explicitly asked not be done, transferred over our original phone number, transferred all of the content from our old S7 to the S21, installed a new screen protector with NO air bubbles! He explained in detail a few of their financing programs and other purchase options. While he worked on the transfer, he politely answering two phone calls and pointed another customers to the product she needed. This is our 5th trip to this particular T-mobile because we've been to several others between Carlsbad and UTC and none of them have a comparable level of service and knowledge we get from Chris at this store.
