I ordered the pho and two fried rice, the rice where ok but the pho was just wrong! It had no bean sprouts, no basil leave . And I ordered the brisket and flank and only got brisket. I had a good experience here and would come again when passing through the Riverside area. The food here was excellent and authentic Vietnamese, and the restaurant itself was incredibly clean and stylish throughout, something you don't see at all (or even most) Vietnamese restaurants. I tried the shrimp spring rolls and beef pho, which is pretty much my standard order. The shrimp spring rolls were fresh and expertly rolled so they didn't fall apart while I ate it. Also you can tell that the dipping sauce was made in house. The bowl of pho was big like you'd expect, and the broth had complex flavor. It was one of the best phos I've had in California, and I go to Garden Grove and Santa Ana a lot. The waitresses were really nice, and the food came out quickly despite them being busy. I talked to one of the owners at the register and found out that most of the owners lived in Saigon until recently. Everyone there spoke good English. They told me to go visit again before the next time I go to Vietnam, so they can tell me places where I can get good pho. :) I have been there before myself, and thought this restaurant reflected the authentic flavors of Vietnam. read more

My family and I came for dinner and probably won't be back. I ordered spring rolls and the waitress asked "all shrimp or beef and shrimp?" I chose all shrimp and she brought me beef and shrimp. After asking twice, I finally got my spring rolls. Then I ordered the shrimp soup, and when all the food came out of course they didn't bring mine. I had 3 different waitress ask me for my order until I finally got my soup. They all had major attitude. I think they figured it out when they sent us there only male waiter. read more

Great Pho and other items. I had the Crispy Beef Chow Mein and wish I still had some! The food is clean and the customer service is wonderful. Been looking for a good pho place around my area and found this place. Reviews looked good so I gave it a try. Wasn't too impressed.

Wow!!! So very disappointing. I called several times to place an order of over $30 but the man who answered was extremely RUDE, very rude short answers, did NOT explain ANYTHING, and could not even be bothered to talk to me. Basically hanging up on me before even wanting to know my order or what I wanted. I was going to use Doordash, and even pay the extra aprox $7/ just to get the food delivered. NOTE TO OWNER: How can your employees treat your customers this poorly and be ok to send business to another restaurant? You have showed ZERO professional courtesy and I will let all know not to bother eating your food! Also, your Doordash menu is so bad and offers no options to add items, you are just a waste of time! I would HIGHLY recommend Pho 99 on La Sierra, just down the street.. MUCH better food and customer service! They will get my money and orders, not you! We have been craving Pho for a couple months now but the weather was too hot to enjoy soup. We spotted this new restaurant so as soon as the temp went down, we went to get our Pho fix. I am always hesitant to try new Pho places as they are usually fairly dirty and the smells that can be associated with they food can linger if not well cleaned. As soon as we walked it, we were shocked at how well laid out the place was, how clean it appeared and the only smell was from freshly cooking food. We were assisted in our choices (and there are many choices) We ordered the #17 Beef Noodle with fresh noodles. We also had #27 Chicken Noodle with fresh noodles. Our Spring Rolls (shrimp & pork) were so well made and rolled so perfectly they never came apart even down to the last bite. That was amazing. Their Pho broth is so tasty. Most restaurants make it so salty that I have trouble tasting anything but not here, the ginger, lemongrass and other seasonings came thru the broth. Just loved it. The fresh noodles are just incredible. I for one will always order them again. I have a feeling we will be eating healthy Pho this winter and it will come from my new local restaurant 5 Star. read more

Seriously, nothing special to say the least... came here to eat because my normal go to pho spot was closed (mind you it's Sunday night) so of course I opened up yelp to find one nearby open at around 10pm, and came across this establishment that calls themselves "5 star pho", I also read the owner's little insert about how he's been making pho for 20 years... don't be fooled by their rating of 5 stars (and I'm not just talking sh*t). I attached some visual examples of what they consider "5 star". First, I asked for small noodles and no tendon (#18 on their menu), I order my meal the same way everywhere, so clearly I didn't neglect doing my part as a customer. I was brought my food with the exact opposite. Second their basil leaves weren't very 5 star, nor was their customer service. Had to wait til the end of our meal to have our water replenished, and I kid you not, I looked over my shoulder and see the waitress munchin on some food of her own! Being the honest person I am, the waitress asked "how was everything guys" I said "it was okay". I guess my mom was right when she said "the more ghetto the area, the tastier the food" just stay away guys, not worth whatever they're hyping up read more

My husband and I love this restaurant! We have been here probably 10 times and never been disappointed. We typically get the pho, which has amazing, flavorful broth. I wanted to like this place so bad, because it is fairly close to my house. Despite all the negative reviews, I dropped in to get an order to go. I got my order and drove all the way home only to discover that the eggrolls that I paid six dollars for didn't end up in my bag. It might be excusable if the place was super busy but I was their ONLY customer. Two young ladies were busily cleaning empty tables, while someone who looked like they were the boss sat there playing on his phone. Like I said, I really wanted to like this place. Didnt really expect to find such a decent restaurant around this area especially vietnamese food. We ordered the spring rolls and myself i ordered a pho, surprisingly tasted super authentic. The server told us that its a soft opening rightnow and full menu will be server on the grand opening day. We will gona go back and def will bring my dad here to try, he loves pho .
