She's never rode a motorcycle, much less a moped, so I wanted it to be the best experience possible so she would have an amazing time and want to do it again. I searched Yelp as I often do and found LB Scooters. I went to their website and saw they had a nice selection of classic vintage mopeds for a very reasonable price ($49 for 24hours) I instantly got excited cause I knew I had found exactly what I was looking for. I called and spoke to Shaun to get more information. Shaun was very friendly, knowledgeable, and was able to help me choose the perfect bikes for each of us. The next day we arrived at the pickup and Shaun was very helpful in giving a brief rundown on safely operating the mopeds and my wife was up and riding with the biggest smile in only a few short minutes! We took off heading towards the beach and got so many thumbs ups and cheers from people as we passed, the mopeds were real eye catchers and head turners! Long Beach has so much to explore and made for a great full day of cruising and adventure. Anytime we had a question, Shaun was very responsive and helpful. The whole day was so much fun and we were just glowing by the end. The pickup and drop off process was easy, painless, and flexible! 10/10 would definitely do again! We are looking forward to bringing some friends with us on the next adventure!

I have had to change the rear tire on all 3 before and the process is heartbreaking. Same process, except this time the hub broke. I always knew the rear tire changing process was hectic but never thought about giving it a review. The risk of pinching the tube when replacing it is high and the friction between the hub requires you to pry it open and or bang it with some wood. At some point the hub metal will weaken and break. The replacement is $400. The new quad might be easier to change but long term. Pass on the Rover Gen 2.

Well, I was wrong. I placed my over and nothing happened for over a week. I called and spoke with someone in what appeared to be the Philippines, and they gave me a canned template response. I also called a couple of times a week later and again, same response, verbatim. It was that they closed their warehouse without notifying anyone who had placed orders. I guess they just didn't want to work during that 2 week period. I despise dealing with people overseas when they couldn't care less about your concerns. I canceled my order and went with another company. I fear that if one of the Phenix Rods breaks, I will have to deal with this again.
