If you have a creative bone in your body but want a hobby that is extremely forgiving, look no further than this tufting design studio. We booked this session to make a little design onto a rug. It's easy, just have an idea, using a projector put it onto a canvas, outline the area, and then fill it in with the matching colors. The tufting gun was explained very well by Mary. She showed us how to use it and avoid any pitfalls. Afterward she was helpful in answering any questions we had during the session as well as finalizing the rug by shaving it down and gluing the backing. The price was $98 for the session but they give ample time to complete it if you need more sessions! Fortunately, we were able to complete it in one day. Came to do a walk in appointment for tufting!! We had such a fun experience getting to choose our designs and learning how to tuft!! AD and Hanna were so helpful and hands on during our experience!! We were given a lesson on how to thread the tufting machine and how to handle the machine to get the best outcome!! We chose to do the 22x22 size and were able to finish within 5 hours, but they do recommend to give yourself 4-6 hours for completion!! They had a variety of colors to choose from and were able to use as many colors as we liked!! We will definitely be coming back to create more!! We also came on a weekday and had the whole tufting area to ourselves!! There's a couple of these in the 626 and I think this location is simultaneously the biggest yet half empties one that I've been to. Of course this is blind box heaven like the other locations, so if you're a Pop Mart, Labubu consumer, this place is worth a stop. They also have accessories for your Labubu, food replica squishies, and like the other locations, a place to tuft and create your own rugs. I've been to both the MPK and Rowland Heights locations and maybe due to the location and staffing this is the saddest one? There was only 1 staff member working and this one wasn't as well lit or as whimsical as the other locations. I've seen people in complete costumes and larping at RH one for their board games which is neat. Not sure about this one though. $45 for a mini Chiikawa plushie is diabolical though to be honest. I guess if you're consumer hunting for blind boxes, it's worth a stop to compare to the jillions of other vendors at this mall. read more

Such a fun place!!! I came here with friends and had so much fun! I thought it was going to be hard at first but it was actually easier than I thought. It was so relaxing too! I definitely would go back again. The staff were so patient and helpful. I was trying to figure out what design to do and helped me figure out which designs would be easier and which parts would be more complex. The best thing about this is you can pick any design! You can even create your own design and make a rug out of it. -One thing to keep in mind is that when you make a rug it's going to take 4-5 hours or more depending how complex your design is. -They also have a binder with design options you can choose from. -Depending what design you do I came before the day of my appointment to make sure if they had the exact colors I wanted for the design. This is just a review for the front half of the store which sells collectibles as we did not do any of the classes or workshops that they offer in the back. We found this place because my son wanted to come see if they had some Pop Mart figures that he had been looking for. We did not find what he was looking for but they did have a good variety of different kind of Pop Marts and they best part was that they do not sell them for resell prices. They are fair and sell them for retail which is a rare find. There are not many worked and they do not come and ask if you need help which may be a good or bad things depending on how you feel. For us it wasn't an issue as we didn't need help and mainly just wanted to browse. We did happen to find a worked and actually did have some questions. We were told that this store actually gets Labubus restocks and sell them for retail price. If you are aware of Labubus then you know how hot of an item they are right now and how much they can resell for. She did let us know that they have huge lines when they announce the restock but as mentioned they sell them for retail price. I liked how we were able to come back free of charge to finish our project so we didn't feel rushed. If you're into Pop Mart, Labubu, Zimomo, Angel In The Clouds, Mega Molly, Skull Panda, and more of the most popular, hard-to-find art toys, this is THE spot. They always have something new to look forward to, and it's honestly hard to leave without adding something amazing to your collection. Millie and Mary are the best! Their customer service is next level. I swear, they somehow manifested my favorite limited edition Labubu and Zimomo, plus helped me score some incredible Skull Panda finds I thought I'd never get my hands on. On Tuesday night, my husband booked an appointment for 2 medium frames for Thursday at 11a. Unfortunately, my husband received a call less than 10 minutes (approximately 10:55a) before the appointment was supposed to start and told that the manager - the only person with the keys - was leaving from Ontario and wouldn't be there til 12p (I believe traffic was blamed). Because we purposely took a day off work to enjoy this activity and would need to pick up our kiddo from school, staying an hour later wouldn't work. The employee who called us (not the manager who was running late) told us we could come back another day to finish but that didn't sound appealing. Before hanging up, the employee who called said they would send a coupon so we could book again another day. While I was feeling pretty damn petty by that point, it's now 3:47p and still no coupon. Hopefully this place gets its act together before they truly open. Shame on them for taking the appointment. Shame on them for wasting our time. read more

However today I stepped in and the cashier was absolutely rude, didn't acknowledge me when coming in, I had to call her over to check me out so I can leave, and when I asked her how she was doing this morning she completely ignored me. I understand we all have our off days but that was straight out rude and uncalled for. I almost asked her if she was okay and if she wanted me to leave. This is a very strange place. They sell some figurine collectables in the front of the store and have tufting classes in the back. I came for the tufting classes. I'll go into more detail on my experience. 1. The store is in the Del Amo Fashion mall and is difficult to find. There's nothing on their website that tells you the store is at the mall or where it is in the mall. That mall is huge and it doesn't have maps in very many places. I had to ask the maintenance people where it was located. After walking around for 45+ minute, I finally found it. 2. Their website and booking information isn't very informative. As mentioned, they don't provide directions, but they also don't say you can bring your own design, though they have designs there you can choose from. 3. It's NOT a class. They do provide you with the tools and yarn and show you how to use the tools, which was about 5 minutes. But they really don't teach or instruct. 4. There is only one person at the store, so they need to watch customers who are looking at the figurines or check them out. Most of the time, they are sitting by the cash register, so if you need help, you need to go up there to ask. 5. It probably will take longer than the suggested time to complete the rug. When finishing the rug, the store person needs to do some of the steps. Since they can't just focus on your rug, it can take quite a while to complete the finishing part. 6. Make sure you have a confirmed appointment. It wasn't busy when I was there, but it takes time for them to get things setup so be prepared to wait. read more
