    Our new additions :p

I once read a LA Times article from the lifestyle section that says Californian men love to drive pickup trucks because they like to pretend they are working class :P Well pretend play is also very important for children and it helps develop many skills. My two boys LOVE pickup trucks, flatbed trucks, construction vehicles, etc, etc... Bruder replicates commercial, farm, emergency, construction vehicles and they are so detailed they are like the real thing. Every night before bed my four year old looks at Bruder trucks on his iPad and tells me all the ones on his wish list. They are sold at specialty stores with the exception of older models at Marshalls/TJMaxx and on Amazon, Diapers.com, eBay, etc... I just recently discovered that they had a US headquarter in the SouthBay. The Bruder showroom has just about everything that they make and I love buying the toy show samples for a fraction. I don't need the box but I do buy new ones also for 10% off :P

Quality toys that last a long time and colors don't fade off. We already have 4 trucks that we got at Marshall's and the colors didn't fade even if being outdoors for more than 4 years. We came here today because we saw an ad in a magazine and we came all the way here to check it out. Kids pick up a truck that they would like to play and give it to the girl in the office. She then gives him/her the selection and the kids can play in the testing area where there is a pit ballet . Our sons loved it that they could try as many trucks as possible and even played with other kids. There were two other kids there on a Friday afternoon. We ended up buying an Ambulance! Toys are on the pricier end but we know that they do last a long time. I even saw one of the mom bring some trucks that needed repair and the girl in the office took it for repair!

1st timer today and it was quite.... Another Mother & her son was there she told me it's always a lot of kids in here on the weekends. She was so nice. She also inform me about the other trucks that was in the show room. My son & I enjoyed our afternoon playing with all the trucks.

Awesome place! Don't bring the kids here or you'll be sorry. Toy truck heaven. Best to shop and then gift.

This location is in Lawndale serving the South Bay Beach Cities of Redondo Beach, Manhattan Beach and Torrance. The owner and staff I say are very welcoming as you enter and gracious as you shop and appreciative as you leave. They have a very family friendly attitude and show kindness towards kids / children. The pricing is convenient and good, especially for non-investor reseller collector types who just enjoy lego. They have a lot of pre-built Legos that might be missing the mini-figures but sell for a fraction of the FMV (Fair Market Value) making them intriguing deals for the base sets that are often retired and hard to find. The selection is good, and because it deals in collectibles and often retired and used Legos, you should visit this location often. I found the pricing on used merchandise to be comparable to other Bricks & Minifigs stores if not maybe even cheaper here. Parking is easy and this is accessible via the 405 north/south freeway off-ramps with minimal inland street driving. Support your local merchants.

These and the special pieces (like animals, castle parts, nets, capes, printed pieces) are where this location excels above and beyond all others, including the valley, OC, SD, and even IE locations. Only Costa Mesa and Laguna Niguel rivals their bulk selection and certainly does not match the specialty parts collection. On the other hand, there has only been a couple of new in box sets that have appealed to me here. Haven't gotten a used set yet, as the selection for those have been more impressive elsewhere. I have however purchased a few minifigs from here which, while pricey, are a nice find when on sale.

I was acknowledged by the one staff member who was already helping another customer so that was appreciated. Too a look around and the space is a little large for their offerings, hopefully they can grow and survive, the had a mix of graded sports and gaming cards, and ungraded cards, their selection was OK, it was in a display case near one wall with some supplies on another wall and some boxes on the other wall. Overall, they seem to be under utilizing the space available to them, as far as their inventory of single "better" cards go it's about what I would expect to see on one dealer table at a card show. The cards were somewhat organized by sport or game, but others were mixed together. Prices were not terrible, but I did not see any super bargains that I needed to grab and pick up. I've seen better small shops, and I have seen worse, so BoxBreaks falls right in the middle. I would give them a call if I was looking for something, but I wouldn't make a special trip without calling first.
