I was very impressed with the quality of the car wash itself, my vehicle came out spotless and there aren't many touch free places around. However, my experience was marred by an interaction with the owner (an older gentleman who takes wash orders). My last interaction with him, he reviewed my value card ($25 for $30) purchase history and commented that I hadn't washed my car frequently enough, noting that my last visit was five months prior. He then informed me that my car was "too dirty" for their service and insisted I should wash it monthly. In all my years of visiting car washes, I've never been told my car was too dirty to clean. This unwelcoming attitude has left me deeply disappointed, and I won't be returning, despite having unused credit on my saver card. read more

Visited 2/25 and waited 20+ mins in line. No problem there as expected...first warm day after cold weather and lots of salty cars. However the wash stopped near the end and car was left full of suds. No rinse and no blow off. Operator told me I had to go back through again to get rinsed. not a chance I am waiting another 20+ mins. read more

I used to view car wash places like this as overpriced. I'm someone who enjoys washing my car at home with soap and water the old fashioned way. But let's be real - There's only so much you can clean off and the precious underside of your car needs to be cleaned too (Especially during the wintertime with the rust-inducing salt!). 53 is a touch free car wash. Yes, it is a few bucks more than your gas station's car wash, but it's worth it. When you run your car through a car wash with all the brushes enough times, you will start developing these lines on your paint job from the rough brushes. The heavy, repeated contact can cause rock chips and scratches to worsen. A touch free means your car will not be forcibly brushed. Over time, the difference is very noticeable! 53 has its vacuums BEFORE the wash, and there is no way to get back to the vacuuming area without leaving the lot. So make sure you vacuum your car prior to driving up to the wash. Upon driving into the car wash queue, an attendant will nicely greet you and ask which type of wash you would like. The types and prices are all on a board that clearly describes each kind of wash. I suggest #2 or #3, higher up if your vehicle is extra messy. If you are not sure which is best for you, feel free to ask. I have seen many other customers ask and the attendant will take a walk-around of their car and give a suggestion. The car wash itself is quick, but it gets the job done. You even have staff who hand dry your car with towels after. This does a much, much better job than the automatic fan dryers at your typical car wash. Do NOT go here during heavy traffic times, especially during construction on this road. There's no back exit to avoid crawling/standstill traffic. Won't blame the place for this, but even a great car wash is not worth that kind of wait. Okay, it is a car wash. I liked that when my other car wash place was closed because of the cold, they were open. Prices are average and they do not offer a free wash return policy. You have to vacuum your vehicle yourself before you pay for the car wash. Everyone is very friendly, you do not get out of your car, and you have to ask for a rag if you want to wipe the interior/dash of your vehicle. I'm not sure if I showed up on a bad day or even the right spot but these people were Definitely not "friendly" and they for sure did not treat me like "family." In fact after my initial attempts at interaction with them I decided to cancel the three part wax job I had gotten an appointment for a week earlier. Yep I waited a whole week to pay top dollar for a wax job and when I got there they were so rude for no reason I decided to cancel my appointment and go somewhere else to spend money and really really do my research next time. I'm not going to trust my truck to people who seemed annoyed that I was even there and trust me I have thick skin I'm a truck driver so I know when someone is being a jerk or if they're busy. I dont know much about car washes but this one is quick, and they hand-dry the car. Since they handdry, you can get it washed in the middle fo winter without fear. You can get a discount at the gas station next door by buying a car wash when you buy gas. cheapest wash is about $7. It's locally owned and the owner is there every day working. He's been good about being involved with the neighborhood and being reapsonable about keeping the residential character of Rt 53. ( I live in the neighborhood.) There's a pond in back to look at as you wait. best part- FREE car wash within 10 days of your birthday. I got my baby washed today! read more

This is my new suburban favorite car wash. I love it. I can vacuum my own car (which is fine because if I miss a spot then its my own fault. Plus I don't mind putting in the work for a spotless car!!!! Yes I love a spotless car....) The cashier was very professional and took the time to explain to me the whole process of what to do and what I can expect. So I was very grateful for that. I love the fact that it was a brushless wash because I cannot stand the thought of those hard brushes scratching up my paint.... I will say that this wash truly is touchless however even the "works" wash did not completely clean the dirt and debris from the roof of my Traverse. To their credit, they attempted to dry the car more thoroughly than Delta Sonic does but I still had to go home and dry the usual places (near the side mirrors, the doors, and the lift gate). Overall, this was just an OK wash. I'd go back for a maintenance wash but not to clean a moderately dirty vehicle. read more

Love this car wash! I drive from Naperville just to get a car wash here. I always start off by using their powerful vacuum to clean the interior. Then I proceed to the carline and pick out a service. I typically go for #2 - "Shine & Protect"; however, if my car is extra dirty from the snow I go for #5 "The Works". Both options will flush out the undercarriage, which is great during the winter months. A nice gentleman will pre-spray the car before it goes through the touchless wash. In the end, they will hand wipe down the car to dry off the excess water. Be sure to keep your doors unlocked because they will also open your doors and wipe down around the doorways. Keep in mind, they do this for every car going through the wash. It's not going to be wiped down to perfection but they do a good job. Then roll through the touchless car wash until the end. 5) Upon exiting the touchless car wash, please proceed to the welcoming 4 men waiting to hand dry your car with towels. They will do this quick and will even open your car doors to wipe the inside. 6) Drive off knowing you just experienced a car wash better than those who offer full service interior and exterior hand wash. I think this car wash is absolutely awful. Let's start with the workers - NO ONE IS WEARING A MASK. I asked the manager (may have been owner) to put on a mask before I rolled down my window to pay for my wash. Initially he refused! He said he didn't have a mask, but as the car line grew he relented and put on one. After I went through the wash four workers wiped down my car. Again, no one was wearing a mask. All four of these hardworking gentlemen were of Hispanic origin. As you may know, COVID-19 is ravishing this community, so it infuriated me to no end to see these guys earning a living without protecting themselves. I don't blame them, I BLAME their employer. I know a car wash can seem pretty basic or they all seem the same. This car wash on 53 is great! I can always expect a clean and hassle free car wash. I came here a few months ago for the first time. I had questions and they answered them and explained the was choices. I was a little nervous about the exit on 53 but they a do a great job at directing cars and getting them out quickly. The prices are fair for what you get. I found out that you can fill up your car at the gas station next door and receive a discount. I had a 10cent/gallon discount off gas and $1 off any car wash. This is my go-to car wash in the area. Being touch free is important to me because they don't have any brushes that will scratch and swirl the paint/clearcoat on your vehicle. The prices are pretty good and the wash does a good job cleaning a vehicle. I've also haven't had any problems with the wheel track scratching my wheels - some other car washes have a tendency to do so. Free vacuums with wash. Free hand towel dry from the employees after the wash. In addition, they have full detailing packages for those who don't know how to detail, or don't have the time to work on their car. Great to have completely touch less. My rims were fine after riding the guide track. One star off because they make the annoying mistake of wiping your windows after wiping the body panels. Smudges all over the windows. You will never be happy with someone else drying your car. Other than that my rims looked great with the Works. I've been bringing my cars here for about 2 years. Great touch free car wash for good price. The guys working there are friendly, overall it would be 4 stars. But then I got my car detailed there. Interior and exterior detail for $134 and they did an amazing job!!! Most places around for the 'full details package' like this were around $200. The wax/Clay was done beautifully and the interior was spotless. One of the best parts was whatever they used inside didn't leave a greasy texture. The inside also has a pleasant clean smell. You can tell the guy who details the cars takes pride in his work. I would highly recommend this place for the car wash as well as the detailing. read more

This was my first time stopping by. It seemed like a nice spot. I opted for the deluxe wash the one that is around $15. My car left the car wash super clean. The one caveat is you have to vacuum out your car before the wash( go see the attendant and all of that). I thought I would be able to vacuum after completing the wash. I was wrong! Great place to get the inside of your car detailed! My 1999 Chevy Malibu is the designated dog car and one of my dogs gets car sick. So she happened to get sick quite a bit and instead of cleaning the the seat myself with my upholstery cleaner (like from Bissell) like I have done in the past, my mom suggested this place. I said why not. The back seat wasn't the only thing that needed to be cleaned, the whole inside did. I'll admit I was skeptical because you never know how it can turn out. I also figured I would be paying a pricey penny to get it cleaned, I should say to get it cleaned how I would want it to be, spotless. Then came to the time to pick up the car and pay. I was amazed, the bill wasn't what I thought it would be, meaning it was cheaper then I thought I would have to pay, and the inside looked wonderful! It was done how I would of wanted it done. These guys are awesome. I only gave 4 stars because I haven't tried their car wash yet. But I don't plan on being disappointed. The sad thing is a week or two after having this wonderful service done, my car craps out and dies. So now it's sitting on my driveway waiting for its fate, whether it will go in for repairs or be taken away and a new/used car will be bought. read more

First time here. Great touch less wash! Free do it yourself vacuums before entering the wash - not the typical weak suction vacuums. When you enter, they use a high pressure sprayer to get the bugs and brake dust off the wheels! Happy to see no bodies in the grill now! Car came out sparkling - the guys at the end did a decent job of drying and even did the door jams. Rims sparkle and the tires shine! My car looks great! I will be back. read more

First- free vacuums? Yes, please! If you don't like the labor yourself they do interior, but for me the free vacuum works as well as anything. +1 star Greeted by the owner at the cashier station. Huge plus! Anytime you know the owner is also the manager, you can bet that he cares enough to make sure the job is done right. +2 stars. Value- for $10 I got the "plus" exterior or something similarly titled. Basically a basic wash, plus wax and undercarriage. What I like to think of as "what you really need". For $10, the price was on target. Wash itself. Great... got through in a few minutes and the guy that sprayed my car beforehand was totally thorough. Of course with the boss standing next to him you'd assume he would take care. They also have guys that hand dry your car, so you know all the spots will be wiped off. This is huge for me. The attendant at this car wash was very aggressive. My car had to be in neutral to go through the car wash. I put the car in neutral. While I was reading the instructions on the display, telling me to place the car in "neutral hold" for a car wash, the attendant was screaming at me to take my foot off the brake. I told him that I needed a minute to place the car in neutral, but he kept yelling and then stuck his hand in the car to point at the display, yelling that it was already in neutral. Then he kept yelling, "Are you ready yet?" There were no other customers, so there was no reason for this aggressiveness. read more
