I was told they were running 15 minutes behind. There were only three cars in front of me and the full service wash none in the express lane. It took an hour and 26 minutes for them to finish my car. Every single time somebody came in the express lane they made them a priority over the people that were spending more money. They said they were going to take care of me because it took so long and all I got was sorry were so busy. Complete waste my time, super disrespectful, very unprofessional. I'm sitting here inside getting my car washed as both me and my wife got the monthly membership . We do get our cars cleaned once or twice a week and they do a great job. The service is fantastic And I really enjoy the lobby it's a great Friday night routine for me . I'm surprised by some of the negative comments and have not had any experiences like that . I've been paying for the membership now for 4 months and recommend this spot. read more

Their cancellation process is garbage. You have to use an online form to "request" cancellation, you can't call. I have tried to cancel my membership for months. I don't even have the same car anymore. I'm contacting my bank to issue chargebacks now because this company is effectively stealing my money every month. read more

I had my car washed by Brightside on June 24th. They were not busy at all. should have taken a few minutes to look over my car as when i got home I noticed so many things NOT cleaned. Like my front window had smears all over along with both side windows on passenger side. My dash I don't think was even touched as it was dirty. Also my trunk area was left dirty - not vacuumed. I immediately tried calling but no answer so I sent an email. Now it is 7/8 and I've never heard back. I will never go back. They at least should have sent a reply to my email. read more

Frustrating experience trying to get my car washed here. Check their website for their hours and show up, but they're closed. Come back the next time at a different time (list as open hours on website), and they're closed. Check hours posted on door (they're different than the website), and come back during those times -- still closed. At this point I've made 4 trips over the past several days to get my car washed, and even though the location was supposed to be open it was not. I understand scheduling and staff availability might be hard right now, but the hours posted on the website should be correct, and barring that should be a sign on your door with what your actual hours are. read more

Came in for a simple window cleaning inside and out, dashboard wipe down, and vacuum only. Asked them to be careful not to slam the doors as I have electronic soft close doors. They responded with "no problem...we handle cars like this all the time". I then informed them I would lower the power sun blinds from the rear windows and again they responded with "don't worry we've got it...we handle cars like this all the time". As I'm standing inside the lobby watching them clean my vehicle, I see one of the guys attempting to manually remove the power sun blinds, thus damaging the blind on the rear drivers side window. All of the guys slammed every single door, and my windows look worse than they did when I brought it in. Every window is streaked and foggy and looks like absolute garbage. I was charged $30.00 for this service. Extremely unsatisfied and would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

All kids. Knew it wouldnt go well. Off the bat walks in and tells me "imma fuck witchu cuz i fuck wit your car" (i drive a charger) And proceeds to tell me he will only charge me $8 and that "just pay me in tips, gonna be me and my cousin and maybe this girl, just like a dub each". Havent heard street lingo in a while so had to google that and find that a "dub" is $20. Waited around 2 hours to then get a call from another kid saying "hi um your car is ready. Um out systems are down and they actually went ahead and did a full detail so its going to be $150 in cash"... Once i got there i instantly asked for the owner, and go figure he just left for lunch and then to pray apparently. Also when asked for a phone number for the owner was given this number: 1 (312) 925-3751 which went directly to voicemail. I never once raised my voice or was rude and simply told them the issue and ended up paying the 150 cash and left. Dont care about the 150 just sad you cant really trust anyone when it comes to even small amounts of $. If anyone knows the owner or has contact let me know :). read more

I have been going to Brightside for a while now and had become friendly with Zack the manager. When he was there, they did a great job. Better than any car wash around. Unfortunately, he left to pursue other interests and the quality slipped. After not going through the winter, I decided to give them another try, and I must say the service was even better than before. I am having difficulty right now with balance and mobility issues, and they accommodated and worked with me, allowing me to stay in or next to the car. They did absolutely an incredible job. Danielle is the new co-manager along with Tim, and she was incredibly sweet and beyond helpful. Luis and Pete are incredible employees. We have a husky so the carpet was full of hair, and they spent an incredible amount of time to vacuum out the whole interior, making it spotless. I recommend Brightside and they are even better now than when my friend Zack and his family was managing. They are the best. Please give them a try for your car cleaning needs. I was scheduled for a detail service Thursday morning at 10 AM. Peter the owner called me at 8 AM to inform me that the business would be closed except for the detailing service which would stay open to receive my car at 10 AM. I left work drove my vehicle to the business only to find that only one employee was there and he knew nothing of my appointment or what needed to be performed on my vehicle. The gentleman whom I talked to barely knew any English so I could not even communicate what it was I was there for. He just kept telling me to call Peter. I understand things can happen and there's always miscommunication but I tried calling Peter that same morning only to get a voicemail left him a voicemail message never got a return phone call. The following day I never received a phone call from Peter explaining the situation or explaining how he was going to make it right with me. I will no longer inquire about this business I will have nothing good to say to anyone regarding this business and as far as I am concerned I would say stay far away from here!!! I had excellent car wash service from Brightside! We got home from a cross country trip and the car was full of dead bugs on the windshield and grill. They went out of their way to make sure every one was removed and the windshield was shining, to the point of running the car through the wash again at the end. The staff is genuinely nice and works hard. I recommend this business highly! read more

Never again. Had very good service/experiences here after the new "management" had taken over. Now the past two times I have been there, the service has been poor. According to the attendant, they weren't doing any of the interior/exterior washes which is what I wanted. Ended up paying $18 for an "exterior only wash". There was only one other car ahead of mine. The place was empty, which on a sunny 60+ degree day in March should have told me something. Every other car wash I passed today was PACKED with customers. After waiting about 15min my car finally went thru the wash, reminder that there was only 1 car ahead of me. The 2 attendants barely dried my car, didn't dry the door jambs etc etc. Don't know why 1 attendant was in my car doing a wipe down and basically wiped my windshield with what had to have been a dirty rag. So my interior glass was horrible. Plus the fact that the attendants moved as fast as pond scum. When they finished, I told the attendant that my car wasn't dry, it was still dirty and they messed up my windshield. He muttered something I couldn't understand. I then went inside to get the "manager", when he finally came out I tried to point out what was wrong, he then became belligerent and loud while telling me that they weren't doing "interior cleaning". I had enough and just left. Will never go back there and I really liked this place for the past 1 1/2 yrs. I really don't think that it's too much to ask for my car to be clean and dried properly for an $18 wash. BTW this car wash DOES NOT have under carriage wash capabilities either. read more
