Visited on a Sunday and, despite a good-sized crowd, we were greeted and seated immediately. The restaurant is beautiful inside, with a huge bar separate from the main dining area. Plenty of TVs, cozy fire pits, and an awesome outdoor space with cornhole and other games perfect for hanging out. The bar is fully stocked with some great draft choices. We went for the 2 for $40 deal, which included an appetizer, two entrées, and a dessert such a great value! We had the tater kegs, the double smash burger, and the chicken avocado grill. Everything was delicious. Noticed someone nearby had wings, and they looked incredible definitely trying those next time! Service was excellent, rounding out a great experience. I have enjoyed every experience at 54th street no matter which location. They're all definitely in sync from restaurant to restaurant. Service is always great, food is some of the best I've had. The best word to describe the experience was very mediocre. The place was packed, which is always a great sign, but taking into account it's still novel to the area. I will say the menu had a lot of good options from sandwiches, salads, pasta, and standard American dishes. Service was friendly, so that was a plus and not over the top even though it was busy we felt like we were checked on appropriately. The food was nothing to rave about unfortunately. The chicken fried steak was overly salted, and the portion was honestly just absurd. My friend who a summer salad, said it was fine but way too overloaded with dressing so she ate a third of it. My other friend got the fried shrimp with sweet potato fries and said it was just okay, noted the temperature of the dish was only "room temp". read more

I had the chicken fried chicken w mashed potatoes and the cheddar biscuit, alll of which were delicious. My daughter had the regular club and my hubs the Havana club. All were great! We all ordered drinks and I requested a spicy margarita (not on menu) and they killed it! So good!!! The atmosphere is nice a spacious with big tv's on the bar side to watch all the games. We didn't venture outside because it was raining, but they do have pickle ball courts and cornhole boards as well. The staff were all very nice but you can definitely tell some are new to the biz. I have faith they'll work out the kinks, it's a new spot. Since it just opened they are busy and parking is not fun, so be patient and get there early. I would recommend trying this place, and I would visit again despite the bad service. The food was great and the pricing is about what you'd expect from this area. They serve Coke products here and I'd rate the food 5 stars. Locations will have growing pains, but your staff should know the menu pretty well before setting them out to serve.. The decor was actually unique and tasteful. A nice flair or dark and light. This was my first experience at 54th Street. They recently opened this location so that may have been part of why I would not give them 5 stars. The food was tasty and plentiful though. We were overcharged for our meal, and some of that could be because the server wasn't properly aware of the menu so I didn't let that be a detriment. The service is fantastic, and the food is very good as well. TVs are everywhere if you are a sports junkie. The house margaritas are great and it has a wonderful sports bar vibe,. Other than the toppings being a little bit light on the nachos,my main issue is unfortunately they have one fryer which means for those of us who have fish or shellfish allergies. We can't eat the french fries, fried chicken, or mushrooms because of the cross contamination of the oil. Other than that, it's a great place in. I highly recommend trying them out. read more

After waiting a few months to try this spot, we finally made it in! When we arrived, the wait was about 40 minutes, so we grabbed a drink at the bar. The bar area is huge with a fun, lively atmosphere--definitely a great place to hang out while waiting. We started with the tequila wraps, which were very good. For my entrée, I had the blackened salmon with grilled veggies. The salmon was cooked perfectly and had great flavor, but unfortunately, the vegetables were so salty they were inedible. Even my fiancé, who usually likes salty food, couldn't eat them. When we brought it up to our waiter, he told us that everything there is typically over-seasoned. We did speak with the manager, he said he'd pass the feedback along to the kitchen. I love salt, but this was more like the salt shaker had tipped over into the dish. Service was good, nothing spectacular, but I'll give her the benefit of the doubt since we were there at opening and maybe she wasn't quite in the groove yet? Decor was Texas themed and very cool. Tried the prime rib french dip and it was really tasty. At first when I saw it, I thought it was smaller than what I was expecting but once I started to eat it I realized it was a pretty decent size. The bread tasted like a garlic bread which was tasty and I also got cheese on mine. I would definitely get this dish again. And I do recommend their waffle fries, I usually get them! read more

Service. The food was on point. My family of 5 came in around 5:30 and were seated immediately. Someone brought us water but then we didn't see our waitress for 15 minutes. We ordered our food, apps came and drinks. We sat with empty drinks for the entire table and not approached again for about 15 minutes where we asked if the waitress was available to take our order. When the food came out, 2/3 of our kids were brought incorrect food. They were brought mashed potatoes and French fries and mac and cheese when both ordered hamburgers. My wife and I waited until our kids food was brought. AT NO POINT DID THE MANAGER COME BY. I don't know if this is because they were not told or if they did not care. But the service threw off the tone of the rest of the night. The kids had ice cream and cookies with their kids meals! That sounds fun!! The ice cream was 1 tbsp in the same ramekin that the ketchup was served in. And the cookies were graham crackers. My kids have been shivering in the restaurant (which was somewhere in the 60° range) for an hour, not brought drinks or the food they ordered and then taunted with dessert. Finally - the dessert we ordered (mind you, after the absence of service, trying to keep the mood light) never came. The waitress came out and said "sorry it's just busy tonight" Just busy isn't putting the wrong order in or (my assumption here) forgetting about the microwaved brownie we ordered. This turned into a rant, but this was last night and the service RUINED the evening. It was rough. We recently moved to the area and are trying new restaurants. Third time I have tried this place and each time, no matter the dish (this time Lt Dan Shrimp and fried mushrooms), the salt was crazy over the top. I think I will have to abide by my 3 strike rule. My friends and I visited on Wednesday night. Even at 5:30pm it was busy. We asked if we could sit in the bar area, the hostess's response was a very monotone...You can go look for yourself... not the friendliest first impression. The venue is awesome. We loved the open concept, the fire pits, and the Pickleball courts. We ordered drinks and three appetizers, the spinach artichoke dip, the queso, and the fried pickles. The fried pickles were very good. We also ordered the summer salad with chicken. It was a very good size. They took along time to get to the table, even being served to a different table near us, before returning to kitchen, and the wine to the bar. Hopefully they just have some kinks to work out. My house margarita ($9.50) was pretty tasty and good sized. I ordered the blackened steak ($29) with a side salad (not too good, just bag salad mix). The avocado ranch was excellent. The steak was pretty subpar - undercooked and excessively chewy. The 'home style' mashed potatoes were not good either. Tried to order a Bailey's Irish Cream as a dessert drink but 54th St doesn't offer it (wow). Instead I was offered the weaker tasting mixer there like Irish Cream that they use in their espresso martini. All in all, wasn't impressed. The interior is swanky but the food disappoints (is anything made in house or is it all from a Sysco truck). Nice new restaurant in Cedar Park! You can sit in the dining area for a little more upscale dining or the bar area for a more casual experience. Server didn't seem too interested in serving. Zero refills, zero asking how things were, only seemed to be interested in watching to see if we tipped. We did the online waitlist and were seated right away despite the super crowded parking lot. We were pleased with the fun vibe inside. I ordered the Champagne Margarita; however, i was told they ran out of the champagne for this drink. We both ordered the Margarita Mezcal on the rocks. They were okay but a bit on the sour side. We expected them to be sweeter. There was a white foamy topping on them that was different but interesting. It was kind of like the milk foam on a latter or cappuccino. I ordered the chicken fingers plate and chose mashed potatoes and broccolini and the honey mustard dipping sauce. My fiancé ordered the fried fish tacos. He requested one grilled and one fried and was told his request could not be accommodated. He didn't care for the rice and beans so didn't touch them. He said the rice had a taste he didn't care for. I tasted it and it and there was a strong comino taste. The refried beans had a spicy taste. He said he would order the dish again but sub the rice and beans with something else. He had to ask for the sauce that came with the tacos. He loved the taste of that. I would have liked the sides to be hotter temperature wise. One of the managers came by to introduce himself. He said they just opened on Monday. We walked around the restaurant and there were some fun areas like a fire pit table and pickleball court outside. First visit shortly after they opened was good but not great - let me explain. Staff was awesome: very attentive, knowledgeable about the extensive menu, and friendly. I really liked the atmosphere considering I'm not usually a fan of sports-centered restaurants, and the seating was spacious and comfortable. The food is where I took stars away because lemon pepper wings were so salty we couldn't finish them. The entree salad was really good, but the portion was a bit much and I asked for a box as soon as it was set in front of me (luckily the dressing came on the side so the take home portion didn't get soggy). My partner enjoyed his burger and the sweet potato fries were really good. Overall, first experience was good and I'd go again! read more

Ordered a Yellow Rose, out... so got a Jellyfish, and was surprised to see it in a tulip glass. Called the waiter over, and he said all their "high-ABV" IPAs, like Jellyfish and Dogfish Head 90 Minute, get served in 13oz glasses. I laughed, and pointed out that Jellyfish is 6.5%, which no IPA fan would think was "high ABV". He mumbled something about corporate policy and walked away. $8 for 13oz, or $7 for a fresh pint at Pinthouse? I know where I'll be going. What a ridiculous ripoff. read more

This was the absolute worst experience at this place. We had been 3 times previously and the 3rd visit was bad, they gave us a $10 card to use on the next visit. I had asked the server about modifying a wrap to use veggie burger in it instead of chicken and that I still wanted the bacon in it. She said she'd have to check and would let me know. She never came back to tell me what I was getting or if I needed to change my order. My food came out as a wrap with just veggies, no veggie burger, no bacon. I also asked for salsa and was not told it would be a charge or actually be marinara sauce. I placed my food at the edge of the table as it was wrong and watched her walk by a couple of times and avoid us. I got up and went to find a manager. He said it would take 5 minutes to remake the food which ended up taking almost 15 minutes. When it was time to pay, we tried to use the $10 from the last bad visit and she could not get it to work. She had to go get help and came back with the same total, no $10 reduction. We were so disgusted and in a hurry to get back home to work and get ready for a business trip. This place has gone further downhill with bad management and service. UPDATE: I sent in a message via their website form recapping this experience. It took a few days for someone to reach out and they were NOT even professional enough to leave a message, nor did they try to call back. Three managers came by asking how they were doing and not one of the first two even listened or communicated back to us clearly. Similar experience at the location in Pflugerville. Checks each time nearly $100. Keep this stuff up and you'll join Applebee's on your way to bankruptcy. It seems this business is simply poorly structured or equipped to handle poor feedback, or better yet, hire competent staff to prevent that from the get go. Here's a breakdown of our experience: Pros: * Minimal wait time: We arrived early Sunday afternoon, typically a peak period for restaurants, and were pleasantly surprised to be seated in about 10 minutes despite a full parking lot and a busy dining room. * Friendly staff: Our waitress was kind, attentive, and helpful--especially when we had questions about the pickleball courts and reservations. The rest of the service team was equally courteous and professional. Cons: * Food quality vs. price: The biggest letdown was the food, especially considering the prices. I had a sandwich that was decent, but the Brussels sprouts were a disaster--slimy, overly sweet, and generally unpleasant. My husband's chicken fried chicken tasted like it had been microwaved, and his roll was overwhelmingly salty, even for someone who enjoys salt. The mac and cheese had an artificial, plasticky flavor.My father-in-law enjoyed his steak and salad but said it wasn't worth the high price. My mother-in-law received her pasta about 10 minutes after the rest of us and said it was good, though again, overpriced for what it was. * Lack of control in shared spaces: After our meal, we tried to play cornhole, but the outdoor area was completely taken over by unsupervised kids. They were using the cornhole boards as barricades and throwing bean bags at each other, making it impossible for others to use the space. While we understand that kids will be kids, it would be nice if there were at least some effort to maintain a balance so adults can also enjoy the amenities. Overall: Despite the friendly staff and short wait time, our experience was disappointing. The food didn't justify the high prices, and the atmosphere--especially outdoors--felt chaotic and unmanaged.
