The first time we came with our kids there were no issues and we came back with friends and their kids. The 2nd time we came and booked two of their bays we were told that kids under 13 were not allowed to play at all. Our kids range from 5-12 and were supervised in the bays by us so we were surprised since it had been a non issue. We were told in the first 15 minutes of being there they could not play and we'd have to leave the area. In Cedar Park we expect that kids aren't an issue so we were totally shocked. Even worse was having to argue with Mark the General Manager to get our money back that we'd paid to reserve the bays. Our servers were so nice and there were no reservations after ours for hours so I felt bad that they also missed out. It's been a fun place but clearly not for families. read more

Their steaks are not the same cuts of meat they state on the menu. What they sell as a filet mignon or a rib eye (neither of them are the cuts of meat listed) are so very terrible! Other things i have tried there are over priced and the taste is only fair. We will not be eating there again. Bar is good. read more

Yes, this place was very amazed. I love the service was really good. I love the reverse happy hour that really good drink specials. I was able to get a whiskey Coke for three dollars the burger and the splash burger was really good. All you can eat. soup salad was delicious. I had the chicken salad so far that was delicious. It's a great vibe. It has games outside has a fire pits. Great TVs to watch the game and then if you don't wanna hang out at the bar, they have a nice night in restaurant site that's very intimate go to Sexy. Decided to give it a second try. Our first experience was not the best, but it was shortly after they opened. Much better experience tonight. Diego was a great server! Back for round 2. My lunch buddy's chicken fried chicken was good. The only very minor problem was is that it was swimming in gravy, which was fine, but she didn't notice the mashed potatoes that were "hidden" underneath, and subsequently ate the entire chicken fried chicken w/o taters and only noticed them when she was transferring her leftovers to a to go box. Probably her fault more than the restaurant's. I think she thought there was another chicken fried chicken breast on the opposite side of the plate as it was flat and gravified, and was surprised to discover there were mashers under there. Maybe a helpful tip to the restaurant might be to leave the edges of the streak and taters visible. Also some black pepper and a hint of bacon grease in the gravy might also make the dish pop!! Moving on...I had the southwest (chicken) wrap, which was yuuuummy! Fresh, flavorful and the bacon pieces inside pushed it over the top! It was huge, so I only ate half but enjoyed it again the next day!! Yum! This place is still so great. Love going there and so happy it decided to move into the neighborhood! Loved our server too! We had the 2 for 40 plates and were very pleased at the portions and Carlie was a wonderful server,also the cheesecake was delicious. We arrived at 4 pm Tuesday and had no waiting time and found the accommodation and atmosphere were very nice. Overall very good deal excellent price!!! read more

I have written before about this place. First impressions were great space food service. NOW, nope. Advice don't go on a Friday. Place at bar is packed. If you want a table then perhaps. Spent over 10 minutes the past Friday waiting at the bar to be acknowledged. Spent another 6 minutes waiting to give an order finally left. Not enough bar staff. Tuesday today order service great burger average, side fries horrible. How the hell can you serve cold fries. Me I'm done just go back to Chili's. Food is as good service 10x better. read more

The online menu looked interesting, so we decided to give it a try. Wait staff needs more training in order to answer questions about the menu. It was Happy Hour, so we wanted to know which "Select" drafts were included in the promo. Server didn't know about the promo or which drafts were included. The Chicken Quesadilla was a decent size and was tasty, but the Calamari, also a decent size, was way too salty. Drowning it in the sauce helped, which meant we needed more, but that didn't happen. I've seen several other reviews also complaining about the excessive salt in other dishes, so why doesn't management do something about it? The peach tea was really good as was the draft. Getting the check and paying it was a fiasco. The server brought an "iPad" showing only the total amount on the screen -- nothing else except the total amount in big, bold text . It seemed a bit high, so I asked for an itemized receipt and was told that's the way they do it, but I could get a receipt AFTER I paid. Paid it and asked for a receipt. Sure enough, we were overcharged due to the server's not knowing which items had Happy Hour pricing. An itemized check would have allowed it to be corrected before payment, thus avoiding the the long delay in getting a manager and having to wait while she tried to figure out how to fix it. Why not just issue a credit for the overcharge, or void the 1st check and charge the corrected amount? The revised check didn't make sense, but I am waiting to see what hits my credit card to figure it out. So far, only the original one has posted. read more

Food and drinks are amazing... the service sucks. After finishing a drink it would be 15 minutes until someone at the bar would acknowledge us. It appears that bartenders are more focused on getting other drinks made for the tables than people at the bar. Perfect place for happy hour. Beer is nice and cold and happy hour appetizers are tasty. I recommend the gringo queso with waffle fries. Best deal. Plenty of space in the bar area with outdoor activities if you want to be active plus plenty of TVs to watch sports. Service was great too. We had two different servers because they were in transition but both were attentive and friendly. Dining area looks small so getting on the waitlist is recommended if you plan to dine in that atea. read more

I'm super surprised at the bad reviews. We've been here 2 times in person & both times the food & service were wonderful. We have also Door Dashed a total of 10 times for lunch at work. Several items each time & they've not missed anything once! The only mistake was mine when I forgot to change something, and we've had a wide variety of menu items. We have been here several times and have always had a great experience, until tonight. Tonight was very disappointing. It first started at the bar. It took forever for the bartender to ask us what drinks we wanted. Then the bartender didn't even make the correct drink. The drink was horrible and it was a cosmopolitan. How do you mess up a cosmopolitan? Then we were seated. The server did greet us within a responsible amount of time. We ordered an appetizer and a glass of wine. The appetizer was stuffed mushrooms, that were actually fried and they were okay. We had to ask a different waiter for silverware and napkins cause the server disappeared. The app was okay. Then we ordered dinner. We had to go hunt for new silverware as we couldn't find the waiter. Dinners were good, prime rib French dip and chicken bucatini pasta. Then we had to wait a good amount of time to get a to go box and pay our bill. I mean it was a good 20-30 mins after we were finished eating dinner. I never give a bad review unless it is really deserving. Tonight was really deserving. We were so disappointed that I am not sure we will be back. This is disappointing because we have always had a great experience at 54th Street bar and grill. Hope they improve their service whether slow or slammed! read more

we have visited this location several times, the service is absolutely horrible! we sat at the bar (probably 9 bartenders behind the bar) we could not get one persons attention and flagging someone down was an act of congress. They made you feel like they were doing you a favor. Quote from one of the bartenders - "if it's something quick i can get it for you" and then preceded to role his eyes. Won't be back! read more

Great experience from the greeting at the door, to the Manager helping out by bringing water to my table while the server was busy, to the excellent service from Della (sp?) to the awesome food. It was so good we even went back for lunch in the same week. Service from Presley (sp?) at the bar to the soup and sandwich were perfect. The atmosphere is very inviting and comfortable. TVs all have great viewing angles and the fire tables are nice. Only thing I'd appreciate improving is more local Central Texas on tap beer options, for example Zilker, Lasarus, Jester King, Brewtorium and addiitonal options from Pinthouse (other than Jellyfish). ;-) read more

Walked in today to eat and work. Asked for the wifi. Almost verbatim from the bartender, "Yeah, we don't have wifi here for customers. Every other location of 54th St does have it, but when they opened this one, they just said 'Yeah we dont want that kind of thing here.' " In the new Silicon Valley a place like this does not offer wifi? How dumb and shortsighted. I had been a couple times for beers w my friends and never asked for the wifi. The service has always been pretty horrible and even with an empty glass sitting on the bar, easily takes 10 minutes to order and another 5 to 10 for the beer to come. They need to provide wifi and they need to provide training for their bar-staff. I wont be going back. Amazing venue with tons of potential but 3.5 stars is TOO HIGH for this place. Sat down, took a bit for server to come to table water was brought out the water bottle had something in it and the glasses had like lipstick on them shaped as lips. Gross! Ordered drinks, still happy hour. That took a little while. Server never came back to ask if we would like another drink. You know, happy hour mind you. Then ordered our food got things different from the first time going. I never got my side item. I got the sole and asparagus with fries. The asparagus was really thick pieces and tasted like they were soaked in some kind of sauce with sugar. Not good at all! One of us at table ordered boneless wings the person didn't eat them. The best thing I can say is that we got a seat quickly. We were greeted by a quirky but polite server that appeared to be all over the place in terms of attention and quality of service. She also started badly by bringing water to the table and gripping the glasses by the rim where we are supposed to place our mouths. TO ALL SERVERS, DO NOT SERVE DRINKS BY PUTTING YOU HANDS ALL OVER THE RIM OF THE GLASS. PLACE YOUR HANDS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE GLASS, CUP OR BOTTLE!! I would strongly suggest this establishment invest in additional server training. The food lacked any significant taste or character. My wife said the Smash burger was decent, however the fries were cold and soft. My wife requested a side of gravy for her french fries and it was clearly out of a package or can, with no seasoning or real flavor aside from flour and milk. The onion rings were undercooked, somewhat doughy , and not crispy as stated on the menu. The Rueben was oddly tasteless, with the meat being more similar to the Buddig packs of meat that you get at the grocery store.
