I've never had any issues with 54th Street in Alliance - Fort Worth, except for the fact that they don't provide utensils unless you specifically request them. Today, I placed a large order and requested utensils. Unfortunately, I didn't receive them again. I ordered the baby back ribs with fries and two orders of the BBQ baked beans with brisket. I also ordered other items with a side of loaded mashed potatoes. The fries were loaded, but the BBQ beans were very skimpy. The amount of beans was probably a serving of three tablespoons. Good place. Came here for lunch with some friends. It's your regular American food fare. They have a decent menu with lots of options with fair pricing for lunch options. We have been to this and the Euless location. Every thing I have ever ordered has always been good. This time I had the summer chicken salad and it did not disappoint! I hardly ever eat the entire large salad served at a restaurant but not this time. I ate every bite! My husband had a chicken sandwich of some kind and he did say it had good flavor but a little dry. Our waiter was attentive and available when needed the manager came by and checked on our table and others around us. I always appreciate when you can see a visible manager that is ready to take on any potential problems ! It was fairly busy on a Thursday evening. I had the happy hour sangria ( they have a great happy hour for food and drinks until 6) I love all the different themes of decor! Does somebody actually get paid to go hunt for all those items ?? Look...it's a chain. It is what it is. That being said, the appetizers are super tasty (everything is fried...how could they not be?), and the bartenders are super friendly (we've only sat at the bar). This is an excellent spot to watch whatever game you want to see (and even ones you didn't know you wanted to see). Great happy hour pricing, comfy bar stools, clean restrooms, clean bar area, and college football as far as the eye can see. However, ordering something not on the appetizer menu has yet to be successful (I guess they only know how to fry stuff at this location). I've have been to other locations where the food is outstanding, so I was a tad disappointed when some of our dinner choices came out the way they did. I started with the household fashioned which used buffalo trace and makes a nice old fashioned. The only piece i wish they changed was not putting the orange and cherry beneath the ice. My burger, the devils den, was very hearty and filling. I don't believe they let you choose your temp for the burger though that is my only complaint. Love 54th Street! Their Happy Hour food menu can't be beat. We have tried most everything on that menu and have enjoyed every one. Tonight we tried the bread and butter on the Munchies menu. It was so good we ordered a second loaf! I ordered the Chicken Madeira for the first time. Oh my goodness...so good. I had the mushroom sauce on the side because I wasn't sure if I would like it. I was wrong; it was delicious. Our server was sweet and attentive and the atmosphere was fun. I wanted the regular burger but with the vegetarian patty. The server put it in as a vegetarian burger and made a ton of modifications to it, which I knew the staff in the kitchen would mess up. Whatever. When the burger finally comes out to me, it literally has NOTHING that I asked for, besides the cheese and onions. I go back inside after a 10 minute wait in the parking lot and have them add wilted, brown shredded leftover lettuce and 2 end pieces of tomato. I also noticed they gave me the seedless bun when the menu items online show the premium seeded buns. Vegetarian patty was falling apart. Even though this was a to-go order, I still gave a tip. Great place to eat and drink. I love all the TV's. They have a lot of regulars. They make very good drinks. The food for a bar is quite good and reasonably priced. Now for the areas that struggle.. is cleanliness. And the chips are always over salted. Sometimes if you sit on the patio... takes longer than normal to be seen or served. Saturday night, 9pm We opted to sit in the bar area, which was open seating, but out of the 3 available spare tables? All were dirty. I had a smash burger and gringo dip+ chips and a frozen margarita (since you have to spend at least $3 to get HH prices). The other member of my party had a quesadilla and Long Island. Drinks and appetizer came out almost immediately. Chips were stale tasting, so I pushed everything to the side. Morgan came back and asked about everything, and I told her the issue. She took back the chips only and said she'd get new ones. I thought hopefully the chips would be out before the dip got cold.... Chips came out in a small basket-- and these were not really good, either. It was like they were old/about to expire AND fried in old grease. I was not the only one who thought that...So I just pushed them aside. By this time, the food came out. Margarita- just a basic house frozen. Wouldn't have to reorder. $6 so it's fine. Long Island? Overly sweet. Lacking in liquor SURPRISINGLY. She pushed it aside. Smashburger? Hot and decent! 4/5 highlight of this experience. And a 4 is reaching. Quesadillas -- she didn't finish them. 2/5. They tasted different from other 54th street quesadillas. They were spicy, too--- I opened one up and maybe there were jalapeños ? Idk they weren't good. I tasted the chicken independently, and it tasted like microwaved chicken that was cooked yesterday. Overall, this experience was subpar and I would never go back to this location. Dining experience with a group of 12 friends before a movie. The restaurant accompanied us very well with the appearance of little disruption to their routine. The dishes were brought out in smooth order without causing delays to other people in our group. Slight corrections to an order or two were unnoticeable as they quickly and politely amended the orders. I ordered the Pacific Fish Tacos and my sponsor nibbled on an order of Chicken Finger Platter. Problem is behind the bar Adam, who, for the past few times I've been, has not only glared at my friend (woman), but has gotten the other bar staff to also do the same. This is disgusting!!! All because my friend accidentally left on her bill and didn't realize it! This was months ago & the best thing to do was to simply remind her that she forgot to pay and then move on! Big, eclectic decor which may or may not fit a particular theme. Our server was perfunctory. When we weren't quite ready to order instead of just politely excusing himself to give us a minute, he'd wait but seemed annoyed. The chicken power grain bowl I ordered tastes good, but was surprisingly light on power grains. There wasn't much under the heap of chicken. I specifically asked for red wine vinegar and oil. Salads arrived with balsamic vinegar and I noted it right away but was assured it was red wine. It turned out to be balsamic. Regular costumer here, just had the worst experience ever. Went to have some drinks and dinner with friends (that I invited) and after we all ate, our server informed us that she had to leave and someone else will be taking care of us for further service. We paid our meal and drinks and waited for the next server, but the manager came and told us we could not have anything else because she didn't know how much we had to drink or eat and couldn't serve anything else. Just want to say, we each had about 3 drinks and full meals after that and she could have just checked our receipts and know what we had. We all headed to Boomejacks and had a great time there. I'm addicted to their waffle fries! They're seasoned like Arby's or Jack in the Box fries, but taste 5x better. I recently tried their French Dip sandwich, and it was delicious. I love that they offer the meat pink or well done. I opted for pink. The meat was shaved thin, piled high, pink as promised, and was not grisly or overly salted. Next time, I'll ask for no aioli - that was the only thing I didn't particularly like about the sandwich. I also love and crave their Cherry Limemade. Sometimes, I order a shot of vodka to spike it, but other times, I like it as is. Plus, it's nice having a few fun mocktails to choose from. I usually don't choose sports bars or generic chain restaurants to eat at, but since having found out how good their waffle fries are, I usually ask my date to take me here once a week. This restaurant creates such an uncomfortable experience that I can't stand coming here. The only saving grace is the food. Our waiter this evening challenged everything we asked for by saying "I don't think I can do that" only to end up being able to do all of it. I had a free birthday dessert on my account and he refused to give it to me because I used a code for a survey that I did and he said that he couldn't do both. I'm not sure what a birthday dessert and a survey code have to do with each other. At the beginning he didn't even want to input the survey code and my app check in code. So frustrating when you are just trying to have a meal with your family. The thing that irritates me the most though is that it seems like they only have one mobile pay machine, because the waiter just stands there and hovers over you while you're trying to pay. I prefer to create a tip amount that results in an even amount for accounting purposes, but I'm always rushed to pay because he just stands there waiting for you to be done. read more

For apps we ordered the spinach dip and calamari. Spinach dip wasn't as creamy as others. The flavor was there but I think it needed more cheese. I really enjoyed the calamari. Seasoning was on point and it wasn't overly greasy. For entrees we ordered the rattlesnake pasta and the steak tacos. Both were okay. The pasta was way too watery. The noodles were practically swimming in the sauce. The steak in the tacos were pretty bland and dry. I found myself reaching for my water after every bite. It was served with rice and beans - both were also okay. The rice was pretty dry too. The one thing they did great was the drinks! I had their white sangria and it was delicious, refreshing, fruity and STRONG. For $5, it was the best deal! My sister had a frozen mango margarita and it was HUGE and strong.
