This is a hidden gem in the Fullerton area. Close proximity to St. Jude Hospitals and not far from restaurants and coffee. The facility is gated and very nicely maintained. Great common areas with pools and bbq and rooms for gatherings. The apartments are very nice spaces with modern appliances and conveniences. It's a great place to call home. The grounds are beautiful, parking is gated which provides a safe environment. The staff is amazing and responsive to any questions or maintenance needs. The units are well insulated and quiet. Imperial blvd, which is very close has just about any shop you need. Amazon Fresh is amazing!! Best of all if you like the outdoors there are an abundance of parks, hiking and biking trails. The smoke free environment is great and really hard to find. It's worth every penny read more

I am a part of this nice community. I moved here last June. All staffs are kind and Nathan helped us in a kind and fast manner. This apartment community is calm and nice to live. For instance, elevator is vey helpful when carrying shopping stuffs and move in or out. I have lived in aprtments around here, still this aparment is best for me. I heard that some criminals took place in some recently but I did not hear anything here by far. May be fence helped this community safer. Here is a good place to live peacefully. My wife and I moved in three months ago and we are very happy to live here. The 2-bed/2-bath Mulberry floorplan is superb. It is particularly nice to have a full-size washer and dryer in the unit. The complex is clean, well maintained, and quiet. We are also pleased that this is a smoke-free community. Everyone on the office and maintenance staff are helpful and friendly: we like them a lot! The amenities are modest, which is what we were looking for. We really enjoy the Clubhouse and the Fitness Center. What keeps me from giving a 5-star review are the toilets in our apartment. To begin with, the seating is very low (only 15 inches). When we first toured Jacaranda, we were told that fixtures are ADA-compliant, which calls for a seat height of 17-19 inches. Worse yet are the disappointing flushes when dealing with solids. Upon flushing, the bowl fills with water and swirls the solids around before getting siphoned out. Very often, a second flush and a bleach cleaning are needed. We feel very safe and comfortable here, and look forward to living here for many years. We expect to do so as long as the rent remains reasonable. read more

We are just moving into this community and we are very impressed so far. A highlight has been Nathan D., the Asst Mgr and leasing agent. He is professional, has answered every question, and has been happy and inviting. He is a pleasure to work with. I am very detail-oriented. He seems to be as well, or just tolerant of my questions on minutiae. Events for residents, movie nights, bbq lunches, heated pool and jacuzzi year round, gym, aerobics and much more. I am shocked - SHOCKED! - I tell you, about the 2 1/2 stars rating for this property. I have lived in many complexes in several states over the decades, and this is far and away the nicest one I have ever lived in with the kindest, most efficient leasing staff I have ever dealt with. Where do I begin? It alllll begins with Nate. I met Nate FOUR years ago when I took a tour of FGJ for the first time. I was blown away by: the grounds, the condos, the amenities, but, most of all, Nate's pronounced kindness and respect towards his prospective tenants (that'd be me). I never forgot my impression of FGJ nor Nate. Over the years Nate and I spoke at least once a year; but we were always 'asymetrical'. Either there was availability but I couldn't make the jump, oooooor, I was ready to but nothing was available. My point? It paaaays to network for a GREAT place! And, most of all, the face of FGJ at that first meeting, Nate, made me want to keep in touch. Come 2022, Nate had a great 1 bedroom available and I secured it immediately, sight unseen. Best living/moving decision I have made in years. I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Quiet, beautiful, professionally (and courteously) managed, SAFE, and it's just effortless to live here. I am retired (not all are who are lucky enough to live in this 55+ community) and have felt a load off my shoulders since I moved in. I feel I can FINALLLLY begin my *true* retirement lifestyle here, and look forward to years of happy thriving here. Can't leave out kudos, though, for Kat and Wes. Wes called me the Saturday morning after I applied at 10:00am to assure me my application was being timely processed and to gather more information. He was polite, totally professional, and mentioned that Nate would be back in touch the following week, which Nate was. Lemme tells ya, THESE PEOPLE EXECUTE and DO WHAT THEY SAY THEY ARE GOING TO DO - TIMELY! There is ZERO bullsh*t emanating from THIS leasing office, ever, and that is a refreshing change from others I have dealt with. And the cherry on top is I met Kat, when I came to take possession of my place. Got the key, Kat took me to my new crib, and I was ASTOUNDED. The reason I took a gamble and leased the place sight unseen is because vacancies go FAAST, and I didn't want to continue living in the sketchy area of L.A. County where I had been living. (Met Juan too, the very kind and extremely capable maintenance manager.) These folks really do care about their tenants, and, as I said, EXECUTE the mission, as we USAF folks say, with no ands, ifs or buts. Lemme circle back to my mystification about that 2 1/2 star rating. It's freaking absurd. Look, NO complex is going to please ANY tenant 100%. It's whyyyy people buy HOUSES man. Sounds obvious, but, geez, some people are just natural-born complainers. Folks here are generally pleasant, mind their own business (but WILL say hello at the pool, the mailroom, the gym, etc.) and I like that part, minding their own business, and are quiet, and respectful of the grounds, the buildings and, msot of all, their fellow tenants. There are NO loud parties, no one is sneaking a cigarette on their balcony, people are so chill here.... As I said, the leasing office staff are out-of-this-world competent and kind. Is it expensive? Sure. SoCal IS. As my late aerospace father used to say, "Ya gets what ya pays for"....I sleep like a bambino at night, every night, not just because it's so dang quiet here, but because I assess that I have - FINALLY! - found My Home. I really, really love it here....Feel very blessed and lucky I kept my promise to myself (and Nate!) from FOUR years ago.... read more

Nice property, but poorly managed, they increased my rent every single year, for a total of $500 in only three increases, during the pandemic, they closed all amenities, which are the reason of the high rates and why many of the people moved there, and no discount was offer to the residents, who most of them lived on a fixed income. Where do I begin? This place has been nothing but problems. First, the staff is incredibly rude. They don't know how to approach you in a kind manner whatsoever. They are insulting, unfair and unprofessional. There has been countless times of slander throughout the years I have lived here. They need to learn customer service skills and proper etiquette if they expect this place to keep running. I know many people who have moved out due to these issues. Secondly, the residents here love to complain! As a "premier senior living community", you would think that this community would collectively come together, not a chance! They are so picky about every little thing. Most of the residents are very unfriendly and don't know how to mind their own business. Third, I do not recommend this place at all. Unless you want be treated like a child and disrespected, come and live here :) if i could give zero stars, I would. Not to mention the cost of living here is $$$$$$ read more

I have lived at the Fountain Glen Jacaranda for over a year and although they promised a smoke free environment, that has not been the case. I have a neighbor in the building who smokes pot. The management knows they smoke pot but supposedly can't do anything about it because they don't have evidence of them doing it. Meanwhile, Saturday morning, the hallways wreaked of pot, and now my bedroom stinks of it because the smell comes through the air conditioning system. I hate it, it gives me a headache. read more

Fountain Glen Jacaranda is a quiet, clean, and safe community with an excellent management and maintenance team. I recently moved into FountainGlen at Jacaranda and find that it is a beautiful and very pleasant place to live. My apartment and the surrounding grounds are always very quiet and peaceful. The grounds are beautifully maintained with lush landscaping. The amenities are beautiful, from a large pool/spa area to a nice workout room, an arts and crafts room, a clubhouse, a game room for billiards/cards/videogames, etc., and a comfortable library/computer room from which one can borrow books and DVDs. My 2-bedroom apartment is very spacious and attractive, and I enjoy the large balcony off my living room. I find FountainGlen a lovely and peaceful place to live and would recommend it highly to anyone looking for a high-quality, peaceful senior residential community. read more
