I find Cinnamon Ridge apartments peaceful and quaint! Lots of foliage on the property and tons of nearby parks to go to. I love the light pink flowers everywhere as it makes the area feel very lively in spring. Interiors are modern and well maintained. Property is about 20 minutes from CSF. The leasing office and maintenance staff are polite and you can tell they value their residents! Sarah is always helpful when I have questions. read more

My wife and I love our new home at Cinnamon Ridge! Not long after finding the rentable apartments on their website, we were able to get in touch with Jenny! Jenny was so attentive to both of us! She took time to get to know us and our needs to help us get the best apartment for us. After finding the right one she was beyond helpful as we got all the paperwork done! We moved in around 3 months ago. We love it! It's peaceful and the manicured lawns are always well kept. The surroundings, beautiful. The maintenance people are always ready to help. Jenny is very helpful. She made sure that everything was working and went over details with us. Parking is great.. our son stayed overnight. We filled out the request form through the reliant app and he parked at the guest parking lot with the form on the dashboard. He left the following morning. No problems encountered. Not just with how clean and peaceful the property felt, but with how welcoming and helpful Sarah (the resident manager) was. We've live here since 2013, and I've been very happy here! The complex was built in the '70s - the cabinets are press board, and apartment plumbing in those days wasn't the greatest. But I think the maintenance has been great - every problem we ever had has been addressed, and when appliances wore out, they were replaced in a timely manner! The grounds are pretty, lush, and wonderfully gardened. For a one-bedroom apartment, there's s a single carport space in the gated lot, but there is uncovered parking for a second car, registered and provided a hanging permit. There is limited guest parking by the leasing office, but there's a street by the side of the complex and other nearby streets. What do some of these reviewers expect? The shopping center is only a few blocks away. Pools, jacuzzis, and laundry room equipments break down occasionally, but they're always repaired quickly. Sarah, the Resident Manager, and Jenny, the Leasing Agent are terrific - helpful, professional, and nice. I work in customer service, too, and know how difficult it can be to work with the public! Rental increases in southern California are everywhere, and Arnel has given us some breaks.. read more

Next month marks 10 years living at Cinnamon Ridge! I LOVE my apartment, and LOVE living in this beautiful, hillside complex! Too often people only write Yelp reviews when they're unhappy with something, but not often enough do we write to praise something. We expect good service and products. Stephanie Bates, Resident Manager, and Jenny, Leasing Manager are both superb, and have done an excellent job to resolve and improve tenant issues in the complex. Felipe and Raul, the Maintenance Managers, are also on top of things, and keep the place in good working order. Santiago has done a beautiful job with the landscaping the entire 10 years I've been here! The place is lush and manicured. Arnel Property Management has around 20 complexes around Orange County, and they're all nicely maintained. They're not necessarily the cheapest, but they're among the best. read more

My wife was at our friend's yesterday from 3:00 PM and she went out to get back home at 9:00-9:30 PM she didn't find the car, however she was parking at the visitor parking slot. She is pregnant and she faced very strong panic attack! After some hard time until we got to know they towed the car after 3 hours only!!! We paid yesterday 549$ and her electronic hand break is not working anymore which will cost us 2000$. They are not professional at all. read more

This place is a shit hole. It just gives the appearance of a nice complex but as soon as you hit your first issue, you will see what I am referring to. They don't fix anything but it's not the maintenance workers fault as their hands are tied by the stingy property management company. The have parking permits for a company that has not once been here but instead pretends to have the complex employees "check throughout the night" which means we have cars in the extra spots that haven't moved in months... our laundry room is pricey but fair I would assume but that's when they work. They also cut down literally every inkling of shade (without notice besides "we're trim trimming this week) on our property to the point I can no longer let me dog relax at back. They also didn't bother to clean up the backyard after they trashed it. If you look at the google reviews, you will see the slab leak and mold issue we had to pull teeth to get taken care of. To begin, we were told that we should expect almost the entire deposit of $500 back if we left the apartment in good condition. After a charge for paint which is standard, and carpet cleaning, also standard, we received ONLY $159.00 back!!!! We are OCD clean, and left it spotless except for usual wear over a 2 year period. Otherwise, the place was better than their model. (Photos attached). Outdated, old windows that let in both freezing or hot air, ants are a HUGE problem when the weather heats up, toilets are small and ancient, cheap, outdated fixtures in bathrooms and kitchen. Horrific parking situation, in fact so bad, that we were forces to rent a garage for $200 a month just to park every night. Then we have worker's trucks and resident's and visitor cars blocking our garage door constantly. The office does nothing about most everything, so we had to post no parking signs on the garage door. The garage door are ancient, dilapidated wood that is being eaten by termites. The standing water brings MOSQUITOES that bite like crazy and again, even after emails complaining and the VECTOR CONTROL INSPECTOR informing Jon,the manager, and the office to keep the planter saucers empty of water to prevent the larvae from growing, they do NOTHING. I can never use the pool because the one time I did, I was eaten alive by mosquitoes and could not sleep for a week. Of course the rent goes up every year by at least $50, so at the end of the year we find ourselves paying nearly $2300.00 for this piece of garbage apartment, PLUS the $200 for the deteriorating, bug infested garage, with the door that is falling apart and motor dying. On top of all of this, they shut the water off at the spur of the moment, no notice, and if you are in the shower with soap in your hair, oh well, that's your bad luck!! We have complained about this and so they finally started to post the occasional water shutoff notice ahead of time. There are also regular carport and vehicle breaking also, because I see them in the Fullerton police reports, but of course, no action is taken, such as actually turning the mounted cameras ON, or hiring the sporadic security guard to parole at night. Literally the worst experience for our money, ever, and I have owned nice homes in upscale areas, as well as rented other apartments in other cities, so many experiences overall. ***AVOID this place, and it's highly ineffective, apathetic management who only care about filling vacancies and bribing people to write fake and glowing yelp reviews to counter the NUMEROUS terrible reviews!! read more

Our experience at Cinnamon Ridge has been a true nightmare!!!! Our downstairs apartment is nice, little back area that my husband fixed up for family functions. Two bedrooms two bathrooms little bench outside. Close to the entrance. Just in love with the unit since we did the walk through. Since the moment we moved in the upstairs neighbors have been nothing but rude, confrontational, and loud at all times of the night. We brought it up to management day after day email after email and nothing has been solved. Management doesn't even have the curtesy to reply to ANY of my numerous emails. Whenever you have a problem and you go/call the office they send you away to write an email (why bother they don't reply). We have shown Jon (the manager) recordings of how loud the neighbors are, the last straw was when they became confrontational with us. I asked them if they could keep it down since I had a migraine and their reply was: "We could do whatever we want we pay rent"! then the went on by calling my husband names and used foul language. I told them that if we're NOT being disrespecting to them to please do the same. To consider that my 13 year old daughter is in he house, they laughed and continued with the name calling. We know must of the neighbors by our apartment and they're all nice and polite. Except for our upstairs neighbors! I'm my husband even invited Jon over to our house anytime after 6pm so he could hear it for himself, but Jon NEVER bothered. Their only solution was to have US move to another unit, (this time upstairs). So instead of dealing with the problem WE had to pay an extra deposit for another apartment. If you're planning on moving here just hope that you don't have any issues otherwise you're on your own. Since Jon won't put much of an effort to help! Also cars get broken into all the time! The reason why me and my bf did not get this apartment is that we found another place closer to our work. The property manager (Jon) is EXTREMELY helpful and friendly. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APARTMENT. I really want to give no star if I could. Every day living here is so stressful. This apartment has no value to live in. I have gone through several problems and dramas ever since I moved into this apartment and I cannot take it anymore... The apartment facilities are too old that it causes so many problems once in a few days (in regards to water, electricity, soundproof, and so on). Also, you should expect to fight with ants and spiders from the day you move in. Those bugs show up out of nowhere (kitchen, bathroom, and closets...literally everywhere) and take over your place in no time. I have tried all kinds of pest controls and none of them worked. Also, the apartment shuts off the water (almost 2-3 times in a month) without noticing you. They just shut it off out of blue in the middle of the day. And it never comes back for several hours. When I call or walk into the office to ask about the situation, they just tell me that it will come back soon. No explanation or apologies. This is not the water service I am paying for. It feels really suck when you are not able to use water when you really need it. Speaking of the office, people work here are unfriendly and unhelpful. They pretend to be nice when you are there for apartment hunting because they need to attain more residents for money. However, once you sign the contract and move in, they become helpless and do not care about any of the problems you will have while living here...Once, I called to the office to report a problem. I was explaining the situation to the officer who picked up my call. However, the officer cut off my words in the middle of my explanation, told me she was with a prospective resident, and hung up...She never gave any attitude during my call. In terms of parking, you will have 1 assigned parking lot and 1 first-come-first-serve parking with a permit. However, keep in mind, it is almost impossible to park first-come-first-serve since there are not enough spots. This apartment sucks. Save yourself and find a better place to live. read more

My personal experience with living here at Cinnamon Ridge was pleasant. I can't say there wasn't any cons to living here, but 90% of the time we were completely satisfied. Due to the pandemic we had to move back in with family. During this short time of moving out at the end of June, Jon the property manager was able to rent out our apartment within less than a week of leaving. We had only lived here for 10 months and thankfully they found other tenets to relieve us of our lease. Yes of course with any apartment there are going to be wear and tear issues. The management was quickly responsive and helped ASAP. Parking is tight but we managed and made it work. We were on the bottom floor and on occasion heard some noisiness from the neighbors upstairs. But everyone was always so nice and friendly. In my opinion the best experience we had was working and making a nice friendship with manager Jon. I feel we saw him more outside of the office with his family then in the office. He is such a great person and very knowledgeable and professional, yet so down to earth. The following is a one month update based on my previous review regarding a year stay at Cinnamon Ridge Apartments. Parking is still horrible. No matter what, it will unfortunately always be pack by 7pm. This is inevitable and there is no escaping it. I do feel that it is with the majority of apartment complexes here in Fullerton and surrounding areas that parking is not so good. There is side parking on the opposite side of the complex, but it is shared with residents from Capri Apartment/Townhomes next door. Management has improved greatly since my last review. We have finally solved the issue with rodents and waterbugs, which I am very appreciative of. Here is to hoping that it stays that way throughout the following year. All three (Jon, Jenny, and Kathy) attended to my needs and concerns promptly, provided information about certain issues regarding the unit, and kept me informed on future services that we are opened to. This change of pace definitely comforted me that I will be taken care of more urgently in the future. Maintenance is not as prompted as I would hope for. Where the maintenance workers are very kind and helpful, there have been a few concerns of mine that have not been attended to as fast as I would have hoped for; but then again, I'm not sure if there's many units that need attention throughout the week. They may be very busy, so keep that in mind when you put in a work order. One thing you do have to be aware of is that the apartments have one of those window air conditioner units that is not strong enough to supply cool air throughout the living room and kitchen. So, during the summer, you will suffer if you have a unit on the second floor! And there will be creepy crawlies coming through the cracks without an invite. I will be posting another updated review at the conclusion of my second year at Cinnamon Ridge. read more

the WORST apartment Complex I've EVER lived in. I wish I had more ways to express my hatred of this place. We are completely powerless. DURING a pandemic government mandated LOCKDOWN ORDER, THEY ARE FORCING US TO MOVE OUR CARS, with nowhere to park them. This should be illegal! the owners are completely dishonorable. They are constantly doing work; we get a notice on our doors every few weeks that we have to endure something yet again. Do not move here - it's overpriced, and you'll be paying and yet also not having a quiet or safe place to live. It's truly horrible. I am stuck because of COVID, or I would break my lease tomorrow. They've given me enough cause to break my lease legally. They are THAT BAD. This place is old and falling apart. There is constant work being done on the grounds, with extremely noisy, ancient equipment that leaks gas fumes. I don't understand why they wouldn't get the poor guy some working equipment. As I am typing this, today, I was awakened at 7am by an apartment-shaking, deafening machine right below my bedroom, renovating the apartment below me. At SEVEN AM. Now, at 8am, workmen began with chainsaws, cutting trees, and oh, If that wasn't enough, they've got a huge machine that shreds the tree parts. RIGHT BEHIND MY APARTMENT. during COVID lockdown, this apartment complex decided also to do renovations with jackhammers and toxic chemicals. Don't move here, unless you love complete lack of any say in your way overpriced environment. Oh, and my car was broken into, and mail has been stolen. Oh also, they frequently shut off the water with absolutely no warning. This place is complete and utter hell. Cinnamon ridge was a mistake. From 2008, two years they raised the rent 150 dollars, towed cars, I asked for 1 extra month and they said I have to renew my lease or my rent would go up 150 more!! The bad taste in my mouth began when I actually moved out and thought I would get my 600 security deposit, and then I got a bill from the collection department saying I owed 300 dollars because my 600 dollar deposit was used for cleaning. I was a complete FOB (fresh off the boat) when i lived at this place. this was actually the first place i lived in after i came to America. i still remember the day i got out of LAX and my relative drove me here. so i have ALOT of memories for the 1.5 yrs that i spent here. i lived at this apartment between 2007 to 2009. After reading other reviews, seems like this place hadnt improved at all after all these years the good: -well-kept environment -swimming + club room for use -a lot of washer and dryer, never went out of machine -nice landscaping -well behaved neighbors the bad: couple things that other reviewers have pointed out and they are right -overpriced, hell yes, almost $1800 for a two bedroom -laundry card, yup, the machined doesn't take coins, you need to use the on-site laundry card machine to add credit to your card. -towing, our only family car got towed at 3am in the morning, freaked the hell out of me and my mom. imagine you woke up one morning, and the only asset your family have isnt there. when my mom went up to the manager after we got the car back, they werent helpful at all. -deposition, they took a chunk from our deposit too, but i dont remember the exact amount addition problems -utility fee. first, the rent doesn't cover any utility. everything is out of your own pocket, second, the water bill is pro-rated, your bill covers other water bill too. so when everything adds up, your total price for living here in a two bedroom is gonna be over $2000 a month. -bugs. the landscaping is nice but it also bought along alot of bugs. during the summer time, you usually find a line of ants crawling around and this happens every-week. so there you have it. here is my tip to you, the apartment next door to this is ALOT cheaper. but they usually have long waiting-list. read more

I am so in love with this community that I live in. I just moved in a little less than a month ago with my 2 kids, and I feel at peace and certain that I have made the right choice in renting our apartment here. My parents have resided here for a few years, so I have visited this property on numerous occasions, so I know what I'm talking about! When I first came in to see the unit, I was helped and greeted by the property manager, Jon. I have to say, the negative reviews are surprising...he was nothing but helpful and genuinely personable and friendly. I instantly felt like he cared and was for me to rent the apartment! I also was in contact with Jenny who was so patient, sweet, and kind. Knowing the office staff was professional and beyond friendly was so refreshing! Jon showed the apartment to me and got the ball rolling on the paperwork and I signed my lease a few days later! The grounds are so beautiful and clean! My kids love going for walks around the property to look at the trees & absolutely LOVE going in the pool! Everyone is so friendly, from the office staff, to the maintenance workers! I love that I can feel safe and at ease, secure and at peace...and would highly recommend renting here if you are looking for a quiet and well maintained property. I would give this place a -5 stars or -50 stars. Please do yourself a favor and do not live here. Tons of spiders INSIDE your apt (all types of bugs), super hot inside, HORRIBLE plumbing, water shuts down without notice, electric power too weak so it shuts down occasionally if you leave AC on too long, and management is RUDE beyond words. The management here only cares about your money. If you have a complaint, good luck getting it resolved because the management here could care less about your apartment concerns. They do not care for service at all. The Korean woman named Jenny is probably the rudest out of all of them. All my neighbors had a terrible customer service experience with her, including me. We don't understand why she still works there because she has zero customer service experience and yells at you over the phone. She gives so much attitude over the phone and scoffs at residents for asking questions. One time, I even heard her gossiping about one of the residents here. Maybe its better for the company to re-staff their rude office staff members so we can at least have something good to say about this place. Please, do not live here. You'll get tricked into thinking this place is decent, but this place is unpleasant and unhappy. Look at all the other reviews on yelp and Google. This place has horrible ratings for a reason. Really enjoying living here! The facilities are beautiful! The landscapers do an amazing job here. There are many beautiful little grassy spots to relax in. When I moved in, there were a few things wrong with my apartment, stuff like the garbage disposal not working and the drains clogged and stuff like that. However it is super easy and quick to request maintenance. The management is fantastic! I know they recently underwent new management, and every experience I've had with them has been very positive. You can tell they really try their best to solve problems for their renters. The man who works facilities is so kind and sweet as well! For me, a big part of customer service is not so much being perfect, but making things right when there's something wrong. This is what I've experienced here! My only grievance is with parking. There's one assigned space per unit, there's a lot that you need a parking pass for (one pass per unit), and street parking is very limited. If I'm getting back before 5 pm, then I will probably find a space, however any later than that means that you're parking down the street in the Target lot. Not the best deal if you're living with roommates and working late hours. My solution was purchasing a motorcycle that I could park in between cars :) Overall, I've had a great experience here, and have experienced great, accommodating employees. read more
