Wow! This restaurant and bar are AMAZING! Located inside Oracle Park, home of the San Francisco Giants, this place is spacious, welcoming, fun, and exciting. The staff is friendly and accommodating, especially our waitress, Merin. She was exceptionally kind, diligent, friendly, and professional. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic time and enjoyed our meal. Thanks for the OUTSTANDING customer service and the great experience during our first visit. Upbeat, energetic music played nonstop throughout our stay. This spot is very popular and gets quite crowded up to three hours before Giants games. The food we ordered was DELICIOUS and satisfying. The chefs did a fantastic job, and we loved our breakfast, especially the flatbread--WOW! It was the best my family and I have ever tasted. Attached to Oracle Park is 58 Social, the most convenient place to do a pre-game meal with the added convenience of being able to walk right in to the ballpark when you're done. The 58 represents the year, 1958, that the New York Giants moved to San Francisco, right on the heels of the Brooklyn Dodgers who relocated the same year to Los Angeles. 58 Social has a fairly good selection of craft beers on tap - just look up at the chalkboards for what is current. Additionally, they will occasionally have a high end bourbon available. The price on the bourbon, a double shot, is very reasonable. And, when you compare it to the prices inside the ballpark you will want to take a double inside with you. Fortunately, if you're already inside the pub you have cleared security and will be allowed to carry in an uncovered drink in a plastic cup! Do it! This is possible because 58 Social has a direct entrance into the same area as fans clearing the Willie Mays gate. This brewpub gate opens the same time as all the ballpark gates. Do your pre-game meal there and time it to the when you want to enter the ballpark. The only downside is the game promotions are not given out at this entrance. The food is standard simple brewpub food. Nothing exotic or adventurous. Most of it tasty. You can also do a take-away of any food and bring that into the ballpark through the brewpub's gate. 58 Social is the pub of the SF Giants. You can enter via Oracle park, just to the right of the main entry. We came here on game day, and it was pretty packed. Luckily we found a table in their outdoor patio. You can get drinks at the bar, or a staff member can take your order. We got a couple of appetizers to share and they were really good. The beers were excellent too. You can even take your beer to-go, and bring it back to your seats. What we ordered: + Brussels sprouts - crispy with lots of bacon + Calamari - nicely battered with a good tartar sauce. This included several shishito peppers too. I miss Public House, but this new restaurant at Oracle Park is a great option before a game. The burger and fried chicken sandwich are both excellent, and the prices and quality far surpass what you get inside the stadium. You can even bring your food into the park. Located literally right next to Oracle Park and the coolest thing is that there is an entrance into the park inside. We grabbed a quick bite to eat and drink while we were waiting for the rest of our party to arrive, the nachos were tasty! The one thing that we did think was interesting was the nachos had a whole tortilla at the bottom, never seen that before. We went to the ballpark for Mother's Day - a super fun thing to do on Mom's Day! 58 social is a good choice! (Connected to Oracle park). It was super busy but servers worked hard to keep everyone happy. We got lucky and shared a table....which is not uncommon on game day. The menu is very good. Complete breakfast choices, yummy snacks too; nachos, burgers, sandwiches, a few entrees. Lovely place. Definitely gets poppin when there's a game but the atmosphere is pretty spacious. Lots of TVs everywhere and patio seating. Staff was nice and talkative even though it was so busy! Me and my besties came here for a SF Giants & Boston Red socks game. My besties are from Boston area so obviously they like the Red Sox, but have lived here for a very long time and love the Giants as well! Me, I just love my SF Giants. I got a beer size cup filled to the top with mimosas to go Mina likey a lot! Inside the restaurant, they have a indoor entrance area so you can leave straight from eating and having a drink to being inside the park in a matter of a few feet, but if you want the giveaway, you gotta go through the main entrance, we got camouflage San Francisco Giants hats everybody got one I love a good giveaway sweet! We ordered a a big basket of crispy fries with ketchup & chipotle, dipping sauce yum and thee bomb Carnitas nachos it came with lots of good Carnitas and the chips had lots of cheese and jalapeños, olives and avocado and of course sour cream yummy yummy and this was one of the only times I have ever seen where we ate every single chip down to a near clean plate whaaaaa lol usually there's a good pile of chips with no meat no cheese no nothing. So clearly we all loved it. Our server was the bomb so accommodating so friendly unfortunately we didn't get his name he was very tall and big beautiful curls in his hair. Let us hold our table while we ran to get our SF Giants hats and came back for a few more drinks before the start of the game, now that is what I call a win-win situation. The food was great. The service was amazing. 58 social is a restaurant on the right of the entrance of AT&T park but is in the park more or less. Great restaurant in Oracle Ballpark. No line to get in and they had a few drink specials. The food prices were on par with a regular restaurant. I was expecting $$$$ since food at the ballpark is $$$$. I got a $10 sangria and 3 shrimp tacos for $22 bucks. They did not skimp on the shrimp! Then - after you eat, the entry to the stadium is right there! Only downside is if there is a giveaway, they don't pass them out there. I will definitely go there again! read more

Solid place to grab a drink and food before the game w friends. Always friendly staff and the food is AMAZING.

I've been coming here since the early Public House days; they more recently made the change to 58 Social. For the most part, everything is the same with a few differences (I've heard less beers on tap). The space itself is essentially the same as it's always been. This is the ideal spot to come before a Giants game. A few important things to note: -You CAN enter the stadium from inside the restaurant, though you will NOT get a stadium giveaway (if applicable). -You can bring food/drinks from the restaurant into the stadium. This includes beers, wine, cocktails, etc. Make sure you get your drink "to-go", so they put it in plastic instead of glass if going this route. -Drinks are SUBSTANTIALLY cheaper than inside the stadium. You can get quality beers on draft, a full bar worth of cocktails, and more. They also don't nickel and dime you for every ounce of liquor like they do inside. Grab two before heading in to save money on the second round! -You can enter 58 Social from inside the stadium. Especially if there is a giveaway, the play is to enter the Willie Mays gate, then instead of going up the main escalator or ramp, make a hard right and enter the bar. They will give you a wristband to indicate your ticket has been scanned so you can come back in without your ticket handy. Mary is the Giants staff member that issues/checks wristbands at the entrance; she is friendly, kind, and a breath of fresh air every time we go! -It can get busy before games. The earlier you go, the better. It tends to get packed, which makes ordering a little more time consuming. It can also be tricky to get from one end to the other, and find seating. While they do have a good amount of seating, the tables are often taken and usually come with waiter service. There are other places to stand around and enjoy your drink if the seating is full. -There is an outdoor patio. This is another great place to enjoy your food/drinks with lots of good people watching. KNBR will occasionally set up on the patio and do a live radio stream, which is fun! I haven't had too much of the food on their menu since the name change, though we did recently try the buffalo wings, which were fresh and delicious! There's also a giant pretzel, which I would recommend! The employees here are mostly friendly. It can get busy and crazy inside, so understandable for staff to get impatient or frustrated at times. The bartenders work so hard, and are undoubtedly dealing with drunk, annoying people trying to get their attention all day long. A very special shout-out to our two favorites: Lisa & Jackie. Receipts are featured in photos as well as the bank charges to show that I am telling the truth. If you come to this place, get an itemized receipt and be clear regarding the quality of spirit you are ordering. There is plenty of reason to believe bartenders are scamming you and have the support of management if not called out. Friends and I came tonight to get drinks before the ballgame. We ordered margaritas and tequila shots among a few other things and upon receiving the bill, saw that our tab came to 236 dollars. When we asked about the price after realizing that that could not logically be the charge, we asked for an itemized receipt. The receipt that we received indicated that we had been charged by our bartender - Jackie - for premium tequila despite the fact that we had not wver ordered premium tequila. When we asked Jackie why she had charged us for premium tequila when not only did we not ask for it but a member of our party saw and knows that she serves us well tequila (Hornitos), Jackie simply responded "I don't pour the well" as if her choices as bartender overrode the requests of customers. To make up for the overcharge, shewould only offer a single shot to make up for the price, a few times. We asked for a manager. A man named Rama shuffled about and asked for my car. No progress was made, as he did nothing but express that he was sorry and carry my credit card around the restaurant. After a lack of progress, a person in my company asked for his superior to help us resolve the situation. K. Olivia came out and offered to help solve the situation. She did not acknowledge any wrong doing and said that she would "talk to Jackie" but did agree to refund us, although we asked also what our total would have been charged well price. We were never given that figure. Ultimately, we were charged 80 dollars for 6 well tequilas and Olivia offered to comp us at a future date and to email my friend the moment she stepped back into her office so as to right any wrongs. Olivia has not emailed my friend. I do not think she will. The drinks are fine as is the space, but the above experience makes me suspect that they overcharge routinely and rely on customers not noticing. read more

Giants/Dodger tickets for 1:15pm game; 49r's play at 10am. 58 Social-the perfect place to have brunch and a few drinks, watch the football game and walk into the baseball game with NO travel (58 social has their own entrance to the stadium. Tons of TV's; a big table for the 12 of us (glad we got there right when it opened at 10am!). We met the chef who clued us into the specials he was making that morning. I attended a corporate event at this place prior to a concert at the Giant's stadium. This bar has amazing access to the stadium. I wanted to try their draft beers but unfortunately that was not an option for our party given it was a sponsored event. Nonetheless I enjoyed the predecided appetizers very much. The crab cakes were crunchy on the outside and creamy and chunky on the inside. The mushroom veggie rolls were really tasty. The burgers looked good and colleagues seemed to like them. Today we had some drinks and my favorite fries with the chipotle aioli which yummy. We also had the carnitas nachos which were awesome! Loaded with meat and cheese and sour cream. So yummy. The plus is you can leave and head to the game with a to go beverage and/or food. Why not? Less expensive than the stadium with restaurant quality food and drinks. Our family have visited 58 Social on my sons 18 Birthday, Then during the Post Malone Show and again at yesterdays game for our 33 Wedding Anniversary. The staff is amazing! The food and service is over the top. We brought a Nothing Bunt cake for my sons 18 and when they brought is out with the candle lit up, OMG it was something like you see o tv where the chef completely made it absolutely amazing . Last night, Rama Gonchauskas gave us the same amazing service for our 33 wedding anniversary and his staff did not miss a beat. I just want to commend these hard working individuals for their patronage and dedication to making their customer happy and leaving with a wonderful memory that they'll share for everyone to experience. Don't go to Giants games as often as we'd like so last night was our first time experiencing 58 Social. VERY convenient as you can enter the park at the back of the restaurant after your meal & SHORT security line at restaurant entrance while we were there, unsure if every level of ticket allows this????..... lively crowd & excellent service. We only ordered a beer and had no problem getting it quickly from a very friendly bar tender. We had not been to the previous restaurant so we can't compare as some of the reviews have done. Bottom line we will get to the ball park earlier & DEFINITELY be back & sit down for food if there's an available table. Come here every year for Giants opening day. KNBR sports radio does their morning show broadcast from inside the restaurant. Every year they are serving food and have the bar open at 6am. People want a Bloody Mary and some breakfast!! Anyways "new management" completely fumbled the ball on this. Didn't have the bar open for food until 10. Treated it like a regular day I guess. It's definitely not a regular day though. Total disappointment. Thankfully places like the High Dive and Reds down the way understood the assignment. I want to take a moment to speak on something that really disturbed me--and it's still sitting heavy on my heart. This happened recently at 58 Social, a restaurant directly connected to Oracle Park in San Francisco. I went in, purchased something to drink, and sat down at a table with another fan--someone I know, a friend of mine. The manager, Alex, specifically told us it was perfectly fine to sit there. We weren't causing a scene, being loud, or breaking any rules. We were simply chilling, enjoying the environment like any other paying customer. Now here's where it gets ugly. While other people were sitting at tables, literally not eating or drinking anything, no one said a word to them. But out of nowhere, a waiter came up to OUR table, smacked it hard, and said "Aye, get outta here. You gotta go." Loud. Disrespectful. And for no reason. I calmly told him, "I'm not going anywhere. I purchased something, and your manager Alex told me it was fine to sit here." But he didn't care. He didn't go around smacking other tables or questioning anyone else who wasn't eating or drinking. He didn't even glance their way. He singled me out. This wasn't about policy. This was racial profiling--clear as day. A Black man sitting down becomes a problem, while others are left alone. This wasn't just disrespect--it was blatant racism, and I won't stay silent about it. I later explained everything to the manager, who admitted the behavior was wrong and said the employee would be written up. But let me be real: that's not enough. That waiter is extremely lucky that I'm a man of faith and chose not to react the way my anger wanted me to. Because believe me, it took everything in me not to explode. But instead of letting anger control me, I'm using my voice. I don't care how "nice" a restaurant looks, how close it is to the ballpark, or what kind of people it usually caters to--racism is still racism, and it needs to be called out every single time. To anyone thinking of visiting 58 Social, think twice. What happened to me could happen to you--or someone you love--just because of the color of your skin. And that ain't right.
