Amazing Happy Hour over at Momo's! This is one of those spots I always see when heading to work, but never actually go. Super Happy I did! Arrived at around 5:30pm on a Friday and the vibes were very chill. Granted there was no game or anything so, im sure its nuts when there is one, but this day was super relaxed. For drinks, we started with beer and then I followed that up with a King Street margarita. Both were great! The king street margarita wasn't too sweet which i appreciated. HH menu was great! We had Wings, Garlic fries and a spicy pizza all were incredible. For me, the shining star was the wings. The sauce was a blend of bbq and traditional wing sauce. SO SO SO yummy! We went for 10.30 brunch before a Giants Game. We're disappointed that they don't have a brunch menu Sunday morning. My salad had some brown bits and the romaine was shredded which is weird for a Caesar. Everybody else's was fair to middling. Server was excellent. Grabbed a pregame meal at MoMo's. Loved the patio seating, cut down on the noise level of having all the excited Giants fans all talking at once. We could enjoy our meal and have conversation without yelling at one another. And this was "the spot to be" before a game apparently, the place was packed. But the food is probably just as much of a selling point as being across the street from Oracle Park. The food: the starters were artichoke dip and calamari. The other food brought to the table was a fire oven pizza, French dip with some amazing horseradish sauce, and a feta and strawberry salad with candied pistachios. All the food was spot on, and the salad was so fresh and tasty! I will now be looking for candied pistachios! If you're not a fan of crowds, watch the game schedule, but otherwise make a mental note to try MoMo's if you happen to be in San Fransisco. read more

Don't expect to find parking nearby, unless you've made arrangements pre-game at Oracle Park. Directly across the street from the north gate, opposite end of the park from the Southern Pacific station. West Portal and Ocean Beach Munis stop right outside (among others). I came here with my friend after the Giant's game one day. It feels redundant to discuss the price of menu items as everything in this area is expensive, however I did feel like the quality of some of the items that we ordered did not match the price. Caesar salad is one of my favorite foods and it's easy to mess up if you don't get the dressing correct. That being said, their dressing is not something that I cared for. I also ordered their clam chowder which has absolutely no flavor and not very many clams. I don't have a signature go to cocktail that I order out at bars because I love daiquiris but most bars do not have blenders or the syrups to make them. On the bright side my friend ordered the french onion soup and an espresso martini--both of which he enjoyed. We aren't regulars at this bar so perhaps we didn't know what to order however for the amount that we spent I believe we could've found another place in the area with better food. read more

Enjoyed the vibes and food. Priced on the higher end for "upscale" bar type foods. Would definitely come back for happy hour with a group of friends! King St. Margarita & Strawberry Basil Lemonade - 5/5 - cocktails were sweet with flavor and pretty stiff. Just one really got the job done. Cobb Salad - 5/5 - Generous amount of ingredients that created an crunchy/refreshing flavor profile with each bite. The chicken was shredded into chunks with a creamy herb sauce, the bacon bits were on the bigger end and were crunchy, they halved cherry tomatoes to give you that burst of tomato, blue cheese crumble was mild, avocado was standard and the lettuce was iceberg and fresh. Wings - 3/5 - Buffalo/bbq mixture. Wings were plump and crunchy. The sauce was both mild in taste and spice. Chicken was served hot but the meat was dry, needing to dip in ranch for the best bite. Pepperoni Pizza - 4/5 - Greasy, almost thin crust, with tons of pepperoni and cheese with every bite! Very indulgent. Pepperoni did not have too much a crunch but still hit the spot. Served with red peppers and shredded parmesan cheese. Also paired well with ranch. Perfect size for 2-3 people to share. Service - 5/5 - went after a Sunday game and the staff was attentive and the food was REALLY fast! My gf and I ordered appetizers and a pizza, and opted for the food to come all at once. It literally came all at once in ~about 10 minutes! Ambience - 5/5 - It's a clean spot with lots of inside seating but still holding that sporty feel. Food is always solid in my opinion, they have great options but sometimes it's not very consistent. MoMo's is an American Bar & Grill right across the street from Oracle Park -- the perfect stop after exploring the South Beach neighborhood and waterfront. My friend had the House Burger, and I went for the French Dip. The burger was juicy and full of flavor, with crunchy lettuce, pickles, and caramelized onions adding the perfect mix of freshness and smoky sweetness. My French Dip was just as great -- perfectly cooked, served on an absolutely delicious baguette, and the dip tied it all together beautifully. Both plates came with a generous serving of fries, honestly the best I've had in a long time -- crispy outside, soft and creamy inside, and perfectly seasoned. The staff deserves a special mention. The host greeted us warmly and seated us exactly where we wanted. When our server was tied up with another table, another young man stopped by with a friendly smile to let us know she'd be right with us -- a small gesture that really stood out. It's such a good pregame spot if you prefer an elevated meal over ballpark food before heading across the street for the Giants game! It's easy to make a reservation via Yelp and it's packed so I highly suggest having a reservation on a game day. It was PACKED! Our server Dean was great and the quality of our service was not compromised by their high volume on a game day. Spinach artichoke dip: the dip itself was super yummy, I just feel that another type of bread would accompany the dish a bit better instead of pita bread Ceviche: great! I had a few bites with the jalepenos they were spicy but it's great if you like spicy! Margherita pizza: it tasted so odd...I think it was coming from the dough. It tasted a bit barbecue-y...we couldn't quite put our finger on what exactly made the dough taste odd but it wasn't your standard pizza dough. Great spot for a bite before the baseball game, especially early in the season. It's close to the park and has great outdoor seating. There's fan made gear being sold nearby and it's a really great energy to get you going to root on our GIANTSSSS We had the calamari, the prawns, and the artichoke dip with a couple beers and some lemonade. Overall the food was great and the service was even better. My only complaint was that the prawns were like 4 shrimp in a huge amount of butter for like 24 bucks.
