What an amazing salon!!! I followed my hairstylist Raquel to this new studio in Bayridge and couldn't be happier! I made the trek out from 14th street in the city, I was a little worried about the distance but was so surprised at how EASY it is to get there by train. And To be honest, When you find an extremely talented and kind hairstylist like Raquel you follow her no matter where she goes! I was so happy, once again, with my color and cut. My blonde looks amazing and she takes so much care not to damage my already frail hair. If you have fragile hair that is prone to breakage but can't bear not to be blonde then Raquel is your girl:) The owner Nina was there as well working on a client and she also looked amazing when Nina was done ,and we all had a great time laughing and chatting while getting gorgeous! This place is absolutely amazing! I was looking for a new salon to get some highlights done it was my first time ever getting any type of color added to my hair. I was scared to try a new salon I don't trust just anyone with my hair, but I wanted a new look and decided to give it a try. I must say I was speechless with how my hair came out I love love love my new look I had the balayage blonde highlights and cut my hair in long layers. I look and feel like a brand new person the salon has a warm cozy vibe and Raquel is absolutely amazing! I've been getting so many compliments on my hair everyone is asking me where did I go I tell them 5th Ave hair studio is the place to go. What a great spot. Welcome to neighbourhood newly opened Salon. Went there for my hair cut and i was amazed with their professionalism. Nina - the Owner is very welcoming. Compt-ed me with glass of wine and sweets. I am very picky when it comes to hair but she did a great job. Even though she had waiting time because of lots of ppl she made sure everyone got service they expected. Now decor!!! WOW!!! What a great addition to Bay Ridge!!! Black & White concept. Very simple and neat. Super clean!!! Everything is orginised and looks great. Very cozy and warm place. I will def make this Salon my permanent place to for haircut. My hair was long, thick, and downright difficult to cut and style.. But Raquel did a great job! She cut a good amount off the length and then incorporated long layers throughout just like I wanted. I pull the top back into a clip to keep it out of my face which is how I usually wear it and it's cute! I Love it!! The Salon is nice, new, and modern. curls need the best care and finding a hair salon that knows curls is a challenge. I couldn't be happier with the immaculate services I get when I visit 5th Ave. Hair Studio in Brooklyn. I got a nice cut with precise layers few months ago, a blow dry and went back today for a color (to hide my grays). I discovered 5th ave Hair Studio through a friend who highly recommended Nina as a stylist. As someone who has been living in Brooklyn for fifteen years, I have had a hard time finding a good stylist in Brooklyn. I FINALLY found my place. I brought my mom in to have her color done Raquel did a fabulous job she knew exactly what color would work with my moms skin tone. Raquel did a nice stylish blow dry for my mom as well . They serve men and woman and truly know what there doing. The salon looks amazing and the environment they create feels great while your there. I am so glad that I found this place although it was purely by accident. I was in the area to go to Robicelli's bakery to try their famous nutelasagna when I noticed this cute and chic salon. I went in with the intention of just asking a few questions but ended up getting the best blow dry of my life with Raquel, I may not be from the area but I will definitely be coming back. I'm not from the neighborhood but I was staying over my cousin's house who lives near by. We passed by the salon peaked inside and the chic decor caught my eye. We were planning to go out that night and decided to try this place. Had a trim and a blow out with Raquel and was amazed of how great my hair looked. I just had my first haircut at 5th Ave Hair Studio. I came in to the salon with the worst haircut I have ever had. It was short, so options were limited. Paulina worked wonders on my hair - she understood how to work magic with my fine hair and square face. I now have one of the best haircuts I've ever had.
