The shepherd's pie I got was also really good, with a lot of different spices and filling with a really nice and light crust. The only dish we got that I was a little bit skeptical about was the fried shrimp, which was good, but nothing too too special. Last two things. Our waitress was SO nice and very welcoming. She made the long wait not feel like an issue on her part, but rather just the cook time for our meal. Lastly, the sticky toffee pudding was absolutely elite. So rich and moist, as well as perfectly sweet and nicely portioned for around 2 people. An excellent cap to this overall incredible experience.

The lamb keema did not appear until more than 20 minutes later, leaving one person sitting without food while everyone else had been served. No explanation was offered, and neither the kitchen nor a manager stopped by to acknowledge the delay. Mistakes and delays happen, but communication costs nothing. The place was getting a bit seedy -- but now the floor plan is opened up and MORE LARGE SCREEN TV's THAN A BUFFALO WINGS store. And even with the rehab the owners have kept prices in "reason". One thing I like is TWO HAPPY HOURS -- great idea in Houston where thousands of us work shifts in Oil & Gas, Medical / Hospitals and Space Center JSC. The first Happy is 5-7p and the 2nd is 9p to ?? Closing. Kitch is also great food and open until 9 or so. We know Westheimer is the real MAIN ST of Houston and Bull has a lot of competion but they don't forget customer service and good food there.
