    5th Street Car Wash

A decent touch less car wash that is kept in good condition and cleans moderately well. The best thing to like about this is the price, only $4 for a basic wash. I haven't found a cheaper car wash and have spent twice as much for similar results. It won't get bugs off front grill but I haven't found a touch less that does.

When in the area, and need a wash, this place is quick and perfect for $5.00! It wouldn't take my bill, bu other than that it's fine! It will help until I go to the dealership to get my free wash and latte!

It's an automatic auto wash. It goes fast. Compared to other places, it's an incredible deal. I've now done it three times and am very happy with the results! Good drying for only 4 bucks! Two passes with soap and water with high pressure sprayers. Touchless. Convenient location just off of Keystone and 4th streets near McDonald's. It does a fine job of using a credit card for payment and spitting out a receipt after a very short (probably less than 30 second) wait. It's sort of fun and psychedelic to be in the car while it's washed. Reminds me of places where that was the case when I was a kid. I'm not sure how late it runs, but I suspect it's open 24 hours a day. There's a line to call if you have issues. I'm not one for paying for services that you can pretty easily perform yourself, but for 4 dollars a car wash here is a pretty darn good deal. It's certainly the least I've paid for a car wash in 10 years, since you got a free car wash with a 10 gallon or more fill at Shell stations way back when. The wash had indicators to place your car properly. You drive up when it's green, stop when it's red and let the wash do it's thing. When it's done, you pull up near the exit where high pressure vents blow air on your car to move water droplets and dry your car on the way out. Go slowly and it works great. It's good enough that I haven't even really thought of looking at another place and I'm totally Mr. Shop around. And you don't even have to deal with any people or wait. Love it.

Took our money, but car wash didn't work. Phone number for service didn't work either. Neighboring businesses said we had a lot of company.

Didn't hit the sides of my SUV. The top third was shiny and clean. Middle third dirt still on it. The bottom third (tires) clean. Stupid.

This is more a place to get your car detailed rather than just a regular car wash although you can do both here. The regular wash is more expensive than almost anywhere else but I find it's worth the money since they hand dry your car. Outstanding customer service, I can see why they have a long line of cars getting the full detail service, I'll have to try that next time

Today we paid for the ultimate wash and it was literally worse than when we pay for the works. There was no difference in one service versus the other. Your car goes through the "car wash" at record speed. Today our wash cost $58 plus tip and I now have to go home and finish cleaning and wiping out the inside of my car. The windows are streaky, the dash board was only half wiped down. The doors were wiped with so much solution that it dripped all over the inside door frame. There is still a bunch of dust everywhere. I feel so ripped off for the services today. The worst part is that we picked a time it was not busy so they did not have to rush. The previous time we paid for the works and they "cleaned" the inside with minimal attention to detail, so today we thought if we paid more, they would do a better job. Boy were we wrong. Looking for a new car wash because this one isn't working out any longer.

On my first visit, they were running a great promotion, $10 for the first month of unlimited car washes -- which was an easy yes. I live in Lake Tahoe, and driving over mountain roads (especially in winter and spring) means my car gets really dirty. Now, anytime I'm in Reno, I stop in, and it's always quick and easy. There's usually no line, which I really appreciate. The car wash itself isn't anything fancy, but it gets the job done. They also offer self-serve vacuum stations, which are great and easy to use. Every employee I've interacted with has been super friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. The only downside I've noticed is at the very end of the wash -- when someone helps dry the car. That part feels a bit unpolished compared to the rest of the operation. It's not a dealbreaker, just something that could be improved.

I had my car in neutral during the whole start of the wash. Halfway through the wash, the vehicle in front of me got closer and closer until my car was pushed into the truck. I hit my breaks so I would keep getting pushed into the back of the truck. Unfortunately, there was a car behind me. This car was placed also too close to me. Now I have the car behind me hitting me and the car in front of me. I am sandwiched between a Ram truck and a large SUV. I am driving a 4 door sedan. I'm being push forward and backward, being hit in the front and in the rear of my car. I'm being whiplashed back and forth in my car, unable to get out and stop what is happening! I felt trapped and hurt from all the back and forth throwing of my car and body. As did the passenger in the car, my fiancee. When I finally get out of the wash and try to ask what the hell happened, I'm told to talk to the manager. I don't get to the manager, some poor worker has to take my complaint and tells ME I need to call the police to report what happened. NO APOLOGY NO HELP NO SERVICE NO SUPPORT NO TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHAT JUST HAPPENED ON THEIR PREMISES! TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT RESPONSE AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE Is there a lawyer who wants to take my case?
