I genuinely find washing my own car therapeutic, and Keystone is always my go to spot. I usually do the full exterior wash here and then head home to vacuum and finish up the inside in my garage. There's just something satisfying about doing it yourself. One of my favorite things about this location is that it's almost never crowded. I don't feel rushed, I can take my time, and everything is always working properly. The equipment is reliable, the space feels clean, and I always feel safe while I'm there. The best part though? They play music and it's actually good music. It makes the whole experience way more fun than you'd expect from a car wash. It's in a convenient location, it's affordable, and I can usually get my entire car done for $10 or less. While I occasionally go to the full service places, I honestly prefer doing it myself. I had a problem with low pressure at the wand in one bay tried the next Bay the same problem as it turns out it has a multiple choice board for different functions soap,rinse, low pressure rinse, which is where I had it set not noticing there was a high pressure rinse. My fault I called the corresponding number. Frustrated. Got a response within five minutes with the owner showing up and responding to my problem that was my fault. Plus resetting the machine this just doesn't happen in today's world ultra clean bays perfect function equipment money exchange machines working perfectly vacuum stations working perfectly and clean. a good value. This is definitely my go to car wash. I would definitely give this car wash a five star review. read more

This is a great self-service carwash- in part because you can use a credit card to easily pay on the spot. Minimum charge is $3 which is enough for a basic soap and rinse. It's also convenient to use a credit card because it doesn't make you add more/confirm- it just keeps going until you're done (so make sure you know that and turn the dial to stop it). The soap was a good amount and great water pressure. There was good drainage so it's easy to walk around the car to wash it. There is a place to hang up floormats to wash those. I didn't use them but if you pull through the wash space, there are a bunch of machines to vacuum your car too. Next time! There is music playing via speakers in each bay. I really wasn't a fan of that - it was loud and not great music- but probably not the worst in the world. I will be back! read more

I was here a year ago and it was a complete disaster. I can't even remember all the negatives; Just that they outweighed the positives. Happy news today. A pleasant experience, indeed. A total 180 from last year. It's a wonderful surprise when something dilapidated changes hands and is upgraded. Refreshing might be a better adjective. It's definitely cleaner and garbage free! Everything has clearly been painted and all the mechanics are working. How glorious, a working change machine. They even tidied up the parking lot. I love all the options you get for ten quarters. No drip rinse, power rinse, brush, waxes, just to name a few. I love optimistic stories that show promise and success. A pleasure to visit. A pleasure to review. Super nice guy. We went there after burningman to de-dust our truck. The owner was sweet and responsive and out there chatting with people and checking in. Pressure washer system worked really well with foam spray and an air dryer. Reasonably priced with well working vacuums as well, and the car wash accepts credit card. There's also a change machine on site that works. The spray foam turned our dusty ass truck into a sparkling beast again. Great music selection to aid in a totally unpleasant chore! This car wash has been completely revamped! I used to shy away from this one due to its location, but just stopped to use their vacuum and found that it looked really nice and clean. I found that the vacuums here are seriously the strongest I've found in Reno or Sparks and I have tried them all. Well since they worked so well I came back after the rain to try out the self service carwash. Wow whatever was done here was done right! It usually costs me approx 13$ when I use my credit card in the bays (which is now offered at this location) but it cost me only 5.00$ at this one. I couldn't be happier! I used to use this location in the 1970's when I was getting a degree at UNR. I have been in and out of Reno over the last few decades. It was nice to see it is still open and it has received major upgrades. I searched "nearby car washes" on my iPhone. This was the only one listed with all 5 star Yelp reviews. I stopped using this car wash years ago because of its condition and the fact that I never saw anyone servicing the facility. It is a welcomed surprise to see an owner who seems to care about the condition of the business and its taking the time to upgrade the car wash and make sure the machines are servicing the weekly customers efficiently. I love this car wash the owner is wonderful . If you have any problems with anything you use there she is right on top of it and makes sure you are happy with the out come. The best thing about this car wash is the doggie wash , it has everything you need to making your dog clean and happy. I have a 85 pound dog it makes it so easy to wash him if you have not tried it you should once you do you will love it . Wow! This is always been my favorite car to wash spot because it's close to my favorite bar. Today though was a very special time. I was parked in the back at their amazing vacuums. I have lost my wallet. I'm stranded in this blizzard. I got all my crazy gear strewn out about the car. The rooftop tent is popped up I actually don't have any money to use in the vacuum due to my lost and only being able to use tap when I was approached by the owner Pat, she's an amazing sweet woman who didn't even ask me anything except for I'm not going to leave a bunch of stuff, am I? First I didn't know what she meant cuz I didn't know she was the owner but then I I realized that she was talking about like dumping. Of course I wouldn't do. I briefly explain my situation and she allowed me to continue the hanging out for the last couple hours as I got my stuff together. Vacuumed and even though I had my own vacuum it's not that good. I asked her about tap to pay what she does not have and she graciously just turned her vacuum on for me for free. Times are tight for a lot of people. Not for me though. But as I do my travels. I have met many vagabonds and can easily identify as a vagabond and I've come to notice they are very looked down upon. I know there's a lot of bad ones out there that trash up stuff but I was treated with the utmost respect, dignity and compassion even before it was established that I lost my wallet and wasn't just some crazy transit. I washed my car here and afterwards used the clear coat protective stuff, and my car, no joke, looked worse than it did before I washed it.
