Inside the I love On The Rise Bakery and Rising Star Coffee inside the Market Hall. They also have Craft Collective which serves lots of craft beers and wines by the glass. There's lots of seating and tables to enjoy your meal, work, meet with friends, etc. One of my favorite spots in the VAD is The Corner. It's a small section in the Market Hall that sells little treats, jeweler, candles, etc. from local makers and small business owners. It's always fun to see what they have there and good to support these businesses.

We had a great time strolling around inside and out. The district has a nice selection of stores. There is everything from a plant store (Stump) to ice cream (Mitchell's), to clothing stores (Clevelan Clothing Company and others). There is definitely a focus on more local goods and shops. The area is not expansive so it is easy to stroll around and see everything in a short period of time. Had it been warmer I would have liked to sit outside with a coffee.

It appears to be a clean shopping centre, from the outside. APPLE STORE: At this mall, I only went to the Apple store so I haven't been to the inside of this shopping centre. I visited Apple to inquire about upgrading my iPhone 11 to a newer phone. My iPhone 11 was given to me for free by a friend but the screen had dropped many times that there were now black spots on it. The male employee who assisted me was friendly; however, he wasn't as proactive in helping me. I had to ask him a lot of questions. He also didn't know some things which is fine because he asked a manager. Also, Apple, at that time, had very few deals on trading in old phones to get a new phone, so I left. Granted, my iPhone 11, had a badly cracked front screen (LOL). I then went to a local Verizon store where I was able to surprisingly get the brand new iPhone (the iPhone 16) at $830 off just for trading in my old phone. So, if you are looking for a new iPhone, Verizon is currently accepting any old phone, at any condition, as a trade-in offer. So, you'll get the new cell phone paid off in 2 years - Verizon will take money off your bill every month until the phone is paid off. I still got to keep my regular monthly bill and infact, my new plan is now cheaper with a new phone because I did not add the Verizon insurance because I eventually added AppleCare+ to my phone incase of any accidental damage or theft/loss. I also have an extra $5 or $10 off my Verizon bill for already having auto-pay. Whether you're grabbing a coffee from Starbucks, indulging in Pacific East Sushi, the food options are really good. My favorite is Agave & Rye that has really good margs and very eclectic interior. Trader Joe's is also nearby if you feel like shopping. Parking can be a little tricky during peak times even despite there being a lot of open parking. There's also valet available. There is some active construction going on in the parking lots, so watch the signs for valet. This shopping center is part of DORA (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area) meaning that you can browse and shop with a cocktail in hand. There's only a handful of participating DORA restaurants, so research before you go. There is an ATM in the lobby at one of the entrances. There are multiple entrances into this shopping center. Remember where you parked! Downsides? Prices match the vibe, don't expect many bargains. But if you're into curated shops and a dash of luxury, visit this location.

This mall has a lot of empty store or stores with not a lot of merchandise. We still found what we needed. You can tell that the mall is trying its best to stay relevant in the at home shopping age. The prices were considerably higher compared to other shops in Lakewood and Cleveland. For instance, wicker fish was $60, and emerald velvet bench was $300. The store accepts Afterpay unlike other similar businesses. SERVICE: The service was okay, pretty transactional. I appreciated that help was offered with shopping. PARKING: There is no dedicated parking lot but street and meter parking is aplenty in this part of Lakewood. Stop in if you're in the mood to check out vintage with coffee in hand. They have a beautiful selection of homewares, bridal gifts and accessories/jewelry. While they carry items by artists and other small makers, they also have well known brands like Kate Spade. They also have gorgeous stationary and student/office accessories. It's also a monogram dream...for everything from monogram cheeseboards and other entertainment pieces. You can also do a wedding registry in the store! But what really impressed me was there customization selection. They can do lovely monogram accessories of all types on items like jewelry boxes, serving trays and more. In the back of the store, they also have a section to do custom pillows with Greek lettering. The fabric is super thick and the pillow is quality. OMG! If any of you know how hard it is find to sorority-licensed merchandise, you're likely gasping with excitement right now, too.
